like our zoo's newest residents:

doing with a little ol' bird on its back?

KATE: Well, sometimes Bernie

gets picked on by ticks.

Lucky for Bernie,
Otis finds ticks delicious.

When these two hang out,
Bernie gets a break from pesky pests

and Otis gets a yummy snack.

That's what you call
a symbiotic relationship.
