I know maybe we're all a little nervous

about our big performance tonight,

We just work together and do our best.

but she kept me in it.

We've all lost our rhythm,
made so many mistakes,

but she just cheered us on every time,
right or wrong.

Maddy and her friends waited patiently
for their turn to buy tickets.

I just sold the last ticket.

But I-I've been waiting all year
to see this band.
