who are born with one purpose specifically in mind,

to torment their sisters,

my brother was especially good at it,

particularly when it comes to not turning up on time.

[phone ringing)

[phone beeping)

- Hi Joe, looks like the amnesia's got you again.

So, where are you this time, Bali, Hawaii,

or are you just asleep again?

Look, anyway, it's flat as here at Blue Water,

so I'm gonna try Barraband,

I don't know why, but lately I seem to be

leaving messages like this all the time.

- Oh, watch out, here comes Sanderson's little sister.

Now you can take your little hotties back to your own beach.

- If you lot weren't dominating every break around here,

- That's rubbish, you do this every year.

You've left school now, so when are you going to grow up?

- [Cal] It's cool, guys, I'll handle this.

- We're supposed to be grateful?

You know, the last time I looked, this was a public beach.

This guy was my brother

and suddenly I felt like I didn't know him.

- Matt, this is something special.

- Simmo, it's a dinosaur, I can't turn on this.

- Exactly, you'll only be able

to do what the wave lets you do.

- Won't be able to pull out

your three-move special on that, ey, Matt?

- I don't have a special.

- Matt, riding a Thruster's like driving an automatic car,

you jump back on an old manual like this for a few days

and you'll start to feel the engine better.

- Simmo, there are reasons we've moved on.

It's too heavy,

there's too much foam through the rail,

the bottom's too flat, the tail's too narrow,

the nose is too wide, it's as subtle as a barge.

- Yeah, Matt, a great board has a dynamic, a feel.

- Obi Wan says feel the force, Matt.

- You'll be on a knee board.

- Yeah, I'll feel the force alright,

when I'm slamming into the rocks 'cause I turned too slow.

- Peterson didn't seem to have a problem turning it.

- Michael Peterson?

- Yeah, donated it when the academy opened.

But you're probably right, the rails are pretty fat,

you'll just end up on the rocks.

- Okay, so they drove off in a station wagon, right?

- They were halfway up the road, before I got there.

you saw one of the guys jump into a station wagon.

- Well, I mean, it all happened so fast,

So any of you going home for Easter?

- No, it's a bit far to go for a couple of days.

- I'd k*ll to be home this weekend,

they'll have an osterbomb and osterfeuer.

- Oyster what?

- An Easter tree and a bonfire,

it's my favorite time of the year.

[mellow melodic music)

- Hi, hope this is okay. - What's okay?

- Anna was feeling a little homesick,

so I asked her to join us, that's okay with you, isn't it?

- Yeah, course. - Come on, Ben.

- Wait, I think one of us should change.

- I haven't done any laundry, this is my last shirt.

- We look like twins.

No offense against Anna, but if Joe came home

while she was there, this Easter would be a disaster.

- It's got to be those idiots

who kicked you off the beach yesterday.

We should go down there with a bunch of guys

and take our boards back.

- You see, that's what's commonly known

as a l*nch m*b, Matt,

now they might still do that in Tassie,

but up here we've got people called police.

- I don't know why, they haven't turned up yet.

I mean, where's the forensics squad?

Why haven't they collected fibers,

soil samples, DNA fragments?

- Matt, they're not hunting a serial k*ller.

- Yeah, it's just as well,

the crime scene's been walked all over.

If you ask me, there's only one way

we can get our boards back

and that's to do our own detective work.

Here we go, forensic gloves, evidence satchels,

I get enough lectures from Mum.

- Joe, if you keep hanging out with those creeps,

you're gonna end up in trouble, just trust me.

- They're not creeps, alright, they're cool.

I caught them stealing our boards and you were with them,

exactly how cool is that? - Alright, look,

it wasn't my idea, I didn't even wanna be there.

- It's just a bit of stupid fun, okay,

you'll get your dumb boards back.

sooner or later they start acting like one.

All you ever talk about is the academy on and on and on!

- But that's my life.

- [Joe] Come on.

- Oh, I thought it was kind of appropriate.

See, this one's small, but perfectly formed

[car horn tooting)

- [Matt] It's those guys!

- Forget it, mate, you still can't prove anything.

- It's a station wagon, that's what Bec said they used.

- She thought they used. - Hey, how you going?

- [Fly] Isn't that Bec's brother?

- Oh, good, how are you? - That's him alright.

- Why would he do that to us?

- He's surely not still sore he didn't get in?

- Come on, look, so far it's all just guesswork.

- It's more than enough evidence to take to the cops.

- We can't dob Bec's brother in to the cops!

- So what do we do?

- [Perri] Somebody should just ask her straight out.

I've managed to get a loan of a few boards

from the Sandy Breaks Surf School,

[group groaning)

until you can get your own replaced,

yeah, I know, but they'll do for a few days.

- That's exactly the same, look,

If you'd bothered to hang around,

ran into the surf, before I could even draw breath.

it's quite comforting knowing that Angelina's got a sister,

many, many sisters.

- It's flat at Barrabands, so we figured we'd come here.

some days it runs here.

- We wanna surf every day, so do you.

early mornings, best part of the day,

we stick to our own breaks, after eight we go

where the waves are and we don't crowd each other out.

I mean, I think their brains

have been eaten away by sea lice, but it is your life

Well, now that we've got that sorted,
