one thing that drives me crazy

In these kind of conditions.

I really felt like I was
going to make it through.
It was just a freak thing,
and I don't *bleep*.
It -- it sucks that
I'm out of the challenge,
But I'm an icu nurse,
And the fact that
I have seven days left,
A massive infection
can occur in seven days,
And if an infection
gets into my foot,
You have to amputate,
and it's not worth my foot.
We'll get you
all stitched up.
Narrator:
justin leaves the challenge
ten pounds lighter,
And the forced medical tap-out
lowers his psr to 5.0.
Back at the base camp,
to relieve the pain,
The doctor must
administer lidocaine
All around the open gash.
Aah!
Yeah, that's -- that's pain.
Ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-
hoo-hoo-hoo!
Narrator: justin then receives
eight sutures
To close the wound
and protect the exposed vein.
Justin: usually, I just do that
duct-tape sort of thing,
But this was a little more
extensive than duct tape.

Ah, you got eight stitches.
Thank you.
But I'm definitely going to
get some, like, "really?
"Really?
That's how you're going out?
Really?"
♪♪
It's been a few weeks since
I went on "naked and afraid."
Uh, went on a nice little hike
today, did a little trail run.
Testing how the foot is.
Foot's all nice and healed up.
Even though I failed,
The challenge has given me
more confidence
In my ability
to overcome any challenge.
