03x04 - Dr. Catastrophe

Post by bunniefuu »

- It's gonna k*ll us!

-It's gonna eat us!

-What's the situation?

-It wandered near the facility.

It's been making
frightening noises,

destroying everything
in its path,

freaking everybody out!

We tried to chase it off,
but it-it just went crazy!

You again.

Stay back, son.
It's lost its mind.

Might be rabid.

- But, Pop, look!

- - Something's
wrong with its foot.

Let me check.

- Whoa! Hey, don't worry.

I'm here to help you.

- Easy. There we go.

Can I get your multi-tool?

- - Poor little
sheep's hooves were overgrown.

That explains the crankiness.

Just needed a trim.

-How did you know that?

-Summers with Gramps, remember?

He helped animals.
I paid attention.

-Look at him go. Not such
a bad sheep after all.

Spoke too soon.

You might be a great
army medic someday.

-Or a veterinarian.

-Maybe so. Dr. D'Angelo.

Has a nice ring to it.

- It is a good
day to be a Dragon Rider.

Out exploring, taking
in the sights...

-Someone's a ray
of sunshine today.

-What's that like?

- Something happen, D'Angelo?
- Kinda, yeah.

I mean, I really
impressed my dad earlier

when nobody else
knew what to do.

- That's awesome.
- He should be proud.

-So now, I'm just leaning
into those positive vibes.

Enjoying the vistas.

I think this place gets prettier
every time we come here.

-Sounds like someone
disagrees with you.

I've seen those
dragons before in the Fire Realm.

They weren't so
barfy though. Ew.

-Yikes. Watch where you step.

-Ugh. Reminds me
of the time I rode

the Whirling
Wheelie at the fair.

-Ew, gross.

-Come on, now.

There's nothing
gross about this.

Their stomachs are just upset.

It happens. It's natural.

-Mm...

Nature's majesty.

-I think it's the
crystals they're eating.

They're meant to
eat volcanic rock.

Fire Realm food, not this stuff.

-Why do they keep eating
it if it makes them sick?

-Probably the same reason
Eugene eats cheesy loops

until he breaks out in hives.

-Oh no, this one
is getting worse.

I don't think we should
let them stay here.

-D'Angelo's right. We
gotta get these dragons

back to the Fire Realm
where they belong.

-Uh, any idea how we do that?

-Leave it to Dr. D.

All they need is a little
jump scare to get them moving.

- Ready, Feathers?

Let him have it.

- Hey. What's the pla... Oh!

- How about a warning?

- Okay. This...

Ugh.

This is bad. Mm-mmm!

-Mount up, Dragon Riders!

On my signal, we make
as much noise as we can.

That goes for all
you dragons as well.

: We startle 'em,
then drive 'em to the Fire Realm!

Cowboy style.

Gotcha, partner!

-One... two...

Hyah!

Yee-haw!
Hyah! Yeah!

-Woo-woo!

-Cowboy sounds...

-Woo-hoo!

Ride 'em, cowb... Whoa!

- - This
is starting to feel useless.

Nothing else here
interests them.

-True.

Nothing here...

I figure if they won't
go to their food,

we bring their food to them,

Then, we can use it to lure them
back home to the Fire Realm.

-Not a bad idea, Dr. D.
What's on the menu?

-Lava rocks.

Ooh! These look perfect.

- No, girl, these aren't for you.

-Is Plowhorn alright? She
seems a little agitated.

Yeah, D.

She doesn't normally
act like this.

-Aw. I think she's just
worried about getting back

to those dragons.

I've seen them eat
rocks like this before.

I'm almost positive this
is their feeding ground.

They'll be okay, girl. Trust me.

I showed my dad what
was up last night.

I think I know what
I'm doing down here.

- You heard the man.

Let's get these rocks
back to the Crystal Realm.

-Hoo!

Don't worry, girl.
It's gonna be fine.

I know what I'm doing.

-Uh, D'Angelo?

-Tom, relax.

I got this.

- D! Behind you!

- Back!

Watch it!

They're going for
it? See? I was right!

-Okay, but now how are we
going to lure them out of here?

-Oh, right...

Ah! We have to get
those rocks back!

-No. It's too dangerous.
We got to get out of here.

-D'Angelo, Tom's
right. Let's go.

-What the heck just happened?

One minute, those
dragons were chill,

then one sniff of those fire
rocks, and it's a feeding frenzy!

-At least we fed them something
they didn't regurgitate.

Too soon?

-Any other ideas, D'Angelo?

-Plowhorn seems
to know something.

-Look, I know she's nervous,

but I know a lot
about animals myself.

I study them. I'm going to
be a veterinarian someday.

I mean, if my dad trusts
me, why can't you guys?

We do trust you.

Nobody's doubting that
you know your stuff,

but a good thought can
come from anywhere.

- Even a dragon.

-Guys, caring for
animals is my specialty.

Let me get back to those fire
dragons so I can fix this.

I still got one rock left.

We know they'll come after this,
so we can lure them with it.

What do you say, girl?

- Whoa! Hey! Girl! Hold up!

- Hey! Wait up!

-Plowhorn!

Where are you going!?

Plowhorn! You're passing them!

Plowhorn! Listen to me!

Plowhorn, this is seriously not
cool! Where are you taking me?

Plowhorn!

-She's taking us back to
where we found the rocks.

- I've got a bad feeling about this.

-What has gotten into you?

- Why are we back here?

-D... Why is that rock shaking?

- That's not a rock.

It's a dragon egg.

What have I done?

How could I...

I took away another
dragon's eggs?

What kind of vet am I?

And I ignored you.

I screwed this whole thing up.

- D'Angelo, it's okay.
- No, it's not!

It's a total
failure! Malpractice!

-Uh, guys? Hate to
crash the pity party,

but anybody feel
that?

- Earthquake?

- Run!

-D'Angelo, look out!

- Huh?

Phew!

-Oh, that was close.

Uh, guys?

Uh, since when do boulders...

- turn around?

- What is that thing?

-It's a dragon!

-It's the mother!

-And she's really mad.

- This is all my fault.
- D'Angelo!

-I'm sorry! I didn't know!

No time for apologies!

- Don't die now so you can feel bad later.
- Hurry!

- Go. Go!

Come on, pal. Push it. She's too
big to keep up with us for long.

I think we're
in the clear.

- Oh... Thanks.

-Everybody okay?

Mm-hmm!

-D'Angelo?

D, there's no way
you could have known.

-That's not true.

You tried to warn me, girl.

And all of you tried to
get me to listen to her,

but I didn't.

We can still fix this.

-I'd better not.
Take me back, girl.

-D'Angelo, wait!

-What for?

A doctor is supposed
to do no harm, and I...

See? I even failed
to return her egg.

Haven't I done enough
harm for one day?

Please, bring this
back to her... for me.

Should we...
- No.

Give him some space. Let's
focus on the dragons.

-So, what do we do?

-Damage control.
We fix what we can.

That pack is still loose
in the crystal room.

-What about the egg?
We have to return it.

-We will. But first, we
got to make it count.

-Thanks for the ride back, girl.

- Sorry I messed up so bad.

- Nah.

It's better for everybody
if I sit this one out.

There they are!

-What's the plan?

-Anybody up for a
game of keep-away?

-See? That sounds fun,

but it's going to
be really dangerous.

- Danger can be fun.
- Listen to yourself.

- Hey!

Mm...

Who is hungry for a
delicious egg? Hm?

- Here they come, pal.

Now, we just gotta lure
them back to the Fire Realm.

Let's go!

Whoa!

Alex, this is you!

- Get it! Get it!

-Ah! Got it!

-Wu! Wei! Any second...

Hit the brakes!

Ha, ha!

-Up top! Thank you...

Huh? Huh?

Almost there!

All we got to do is steer them

to a sweet, sweet
volcanic rock buffet.

There!

That'll do!

Chow down, guys!

It worked!

There.

Ah!

Ah...

-What is she focused on?

-No! No, no, no, no, no! We took
your eggs! Leave them alone!

That dragon is furious,
and they won't be safe here

unless we can figure
out a way to fix it.

- We need D'Angelo.
He would know what to do.

-Leave it to me.

-Do you think we can hold
her off until they get back?

-I don't think we
have much of a choice.

-We need your help.

We got the pack of dragons
back to the Fire Realm,

but that rolling earthquake of a
dragon is in complete rage mode,

and she's attacking them!

We can't stop her without you!

Uh...

-Role-playing game,
Pop. We go deep.

-Nerd stuff. Got it.

- What makes you think
I can do anything to help?

-D'Angelo, you know more
about dragon behavior

than anyone, except
for maybe Tom

'cause he's got that whole
Dragon Whisperer thing going.

But still, you're the best
chance we've got to fix this.

One accident doesn't
mean you quit.

It means you learn.

-Hey, girl.

I should have listened to you
when you tried to warn me.

And when I tried to quit.

Thanks for understanding.

-Aw. All the feels.

Now, let's go.

And if you could hurry up and figure
out a way to stop that boulder dragon

from attacking the ones that ate
her eggs, that would be great.

-Wait a minute. I got an idea!

- Come on, girl!

-And you're welcome
for pulling you out of

your existential crisis.

-Wu, Wei! Lay down some fog!

- Jun? Hello?

Ah!

- Oh...

Nice cover. This should
buy us some time.

- Stay low.

Tom, this is not good.

- Look out! Ah!
- Ah!

-Can you put down
another layer of mist?

-Got anymore in you, Wu?

This place is too
dry. Stupid Fire Realm.

-We got to do what we can.

Let's see if we can
draw her attention.

Bank right!

Your other right, but that
got her attention! Ah!

Next
patient, please!

The doc is back in,
ladies and gentlemen!

-Alex and D? Yes!

-Cover me.

Take one of these and
call me in the morning.

Alright, everybody,
get those eggs to mama!

-Good work, Dr. D! Ugh...

Aw, man.

So sulfury.

-I'm sorry, you two.
It's for a good cause.

-I think that's all of them.

- One more!

Just like new. No
harm, no foul, right?

-I don't get it! Why
is she still mad at us?

- What is it?

Oh, she's not roaring at us.

- That's a relief. Thanks, girl.

-Sorry. Restaurant's closed.
Go find something else to eat.

-What do y'all say we leave Mama
Dragon alone with her babies.

- Good job, Doc.
- How'd you know that would work?

-Well, reptiles take
a long time to digest,

so I figured whatever they
ate today was still in there.

Those crystals
made them spit up,

so I put two and two together.

-See? You know your stuff.

-Thanks, but I couldn't have
done it without my team.

Or without you, Nurse Plowhorn.
