It is kind of amazing

seeing how our families
have just kind of mixed and mingled.

And the more
we all get to know each other,

the better we've been able
to help Abbey and David

and really become one big support system.

They've come a long way.
I mean, independence,

going on a date
on their own to Century City.

when we wouldn't let David go by himself.

Now with David, like, I can't reach her.

It's just the type of autism I have.

And the type of autism
he has is synesthesia.

something called supported living.

So I was diagnosed
when I was with autism.

I guess my mom's biggest red flag

was the fact that I was really interested
in Band-A*DS as a child.

All of the character ones,

like from Band-Aid brand
to the other brands that have them.

It's basically autism.

We don't say Asperger's anymore
'cause of the n*zi.

Oh yeah. I'm also part Jewish,
so, yeah, I'm glad they changed that.

My vision impairment, it's where
my eyes see, but my brain can't process.

A lot of people with my vision impairment
also have autism.

which is really sad.
