And she's like, "Yeah, he right there."

I'm like, "Oh, let me get him."

Slowly, I have to make
this mental picture for myself.

You said, "I'm gonna go get him."

She saw me looking like
I want to go get him.

She like, "Yeah, he right here

- And I stepped in the house.

- So I stepped in the house.

And when I stepped in the house,
she slammed the door behind me and...

and then slammed the door.

And the next thing you know,
we walk a little bit towards

the center of the living room

and then I just got smacked

and popped in my head and nose
for a few times.

So she hit you?

And I started bleeding a little bit
on the ground...on the floor.

It was just more antagonizing me saying...

and just tried to, uh,
swing on me with it.

But I had blocked her, um, hand
from actually connecting

with my face or wherever,

protect the degree she was...
to affect and hit me with.

So next thing you know,
I threw the on, um,

the glass jar
on the, uh, couch and I ran...

So you grabbed
the glass jar out of her hand.

Yeah, as she was swinging it, yeah.

- You threw it on the couch.

And I ran out the door running
towards my car to go get in my car

to, you know, to leave her house
and I get in my car.

And she's chasing me down
with the glass jar.

- And she starts...

I closed the door, had the window down

and, um, next thing you know,
she's coming towards the car

and bashed the windshield in.

And I'm like sitting there in shock
that she blasting the windshield in.

And I stick my hands out the window
to try to stop her

'cause she's like right there
by the mirror.

And, um, next thing you know
my hand gets caught in the action

of her bashing the windshield in and tore
some tendons and some nerve damage.

And your daughter is in the car?

Yes, she's...was...witnessed me
running towards the car

right along with my, um,

after she was chasing him?

I thought I've seen him getting chased,
he went...ran into the vehicle.

I've seen at the scene, something's
getting swung at the, the windshield.

I could see him put his hand out,

is just a spurred off.

presents for an evaluation

of multiple lacerations
on the fingers and wrists.

Patient changes his story
multiple times throughout the history

taking and also provides
very vague details.

He initially tells me he was sitting
in a car holding a glass cup

and his girlfriend came out
and threw another glass cup at him.

And he went to protect his own glass cup
causing them to collide

and both break
showering glass on his right hand.

He later states that the girlfriend

broke his driver side window
which is what caused the cuts.

He denies any alcohol or drug use.

Yeah, I don't understand
how that nurse got my words

misconstrued with, uh, me
having a glass cup at the same time.

I wasn't there.

Patient stated this occurred

between 12:00 and 1:00.

I went to the hospital at 6:00,

'cause I had to drop my daughter off

after this incident happened.

And then my daughter...

my brother came and picked me back up

and then he took them to the hospital
around 5:00, 6:00.

Back home to her mother.

Probably about three miles, not far.

then you were at the hospital at 1:15.
