[Mansion of Lord Zhennan]

Chu Xiaoran, what are you waiting for?
Hurry up and leave.

I'm not leaving.

Trust me. Leave.

Or I'll k*ll myself.

Xiaoxiao.

Have you forgotten?
I'm the fairy of the nine heavens.

I'll figure something out.

Hurry up and go.

Chu Xiaoxiao, I've let him go.

It's your turn.

All my secrets are in here.

Knock it on your head
and you'll find the answer.

[so that they can't hold me hostage.]

Try harder.

Xiaoxiao.

[Mansion of Lord Zhennan]

Chu Xiaoxiao, I swear I will
slaughter your entire family.

Xiaoxiao passed away

saving me.

Sorry for your loss, buddy.

Rest assured, I will avenge her death.

Xiaoxiao.

Simpleton, you didn't
really think I died, did you?

That was just a temporary body,

only for a month's use.

It's fine to be destroyed.

See, I'm perfectly fine here.

Hey.

Don't tell me you've fallen in love with me.

From now on, I'll take control of my body.

I will win over the princess.

You asked me if I love you.

My answer is...

Report!

Report! Urgent news
from the northern border.

The border is in jeopardy
due to the 500,000 Wu troops.

Qingcheng, I'm heading there
to guard the border.

Qingcheng.

Could you give me an encouraging hug?

Thank you.

The deployment of Wu troops
is to constrain our military force.

My uncle has made a smart move.

Let me analyze this.

First, he might lead rebels into the palace,

forcing His Majesty to abdicate.

Secondly,

he might fabricate the imperial edict
to take over legitimately.

Thirdly, he might k*ll all competitors
or keep them grounded.

Fourthly, he might seize power
and threaten the new emperor.

Do you often plot coups?

You sound so experienced.

I...

Your Highness, bad news.

Things are not going in our favor.

You might survive if you leave now.

What do you take me for?

I will always stay by your side.

Do you think you're capable of that?

Even if mountains and gorges
are blocking the way,

I will fight for you to the end.

I'm going to bed now.

I dare you to come with me.

I must enter even the tiger's den
if a fair lady invites me.

Why are you still up there?

[Once I'm with Her Highness,]

[Xiaoxiao should be able to go back, right?]

Do you know what I hate about you the most?

[It's too dangerous tomorrow.]

[You'd better stay and wait for me.]

Xiaoxiao, the princess has knocked me out.

I can't control my body now.

If you can't control your body,

what can I possibly do?

Let nature take its course.

Xiaoxiao.

I can see that you're worried
about the princess.

You still care about her.

She treats us like siblings.

Of course, I worry about her.

So you've fallen for her.

Yes, I've fallen for her.

That's for the best.

Take good care of the princess

and yourself.

In fact, what I've taught you
is quite useless.

The most important thing
about loving someone is sincerity.

I see.

Make sure you treat the princess well.

If you mistreat her, you're dead.

I won't.

That's good.

[Xiaoxiao, in fact, the girl I like is you.]

By the late emperor's edict,

the Third Prince Zikun resembles
his father with noble characters.

He shall ascend the throne as the successor

to continue the reign. Respect this.

His Majesty has arrived.

- Long live, Your Majesty!
- Long live, Your Majesty!

How dare you! Why aren't you on your knees?

Ancestral rules say that the successor
must be the child of Her Majesty.

Not a single minister was present
before the late emperor passed away.

Who can prove the authenticity of the will?

I think you plotted to usurp the throne.

That's right. I disapprove of it.

Gentlemen, before
the late emperor passed away,

the Sixth Lord, the new emperor,
and I all served by his side.

What's inappropriate about it?

Look closely. This is
the handwriting of the late emperor.

Isn't it fake?

Yeah, it could be a forgery.

Yeah.

It's forged. Yeah.

This is the late emperor's handwriting.

Really?

Won't you kneel to pay respect
to the new emperor?

Hold on.
