JULIE: Rylie, I'm sorry, but we need you to leave.

Hey, everyone.

Welcome to a supersized episode of "Big Brother."

We're kicking tonight off with a special episode

of "Big Brother Unlocked."

And here with us is reality TV royalty.

He's a "Survivor" winner, the first five-time "Survivor"

player, a two-time "Amazing Race,"

and maybe one day, we can convince him to take

a shot at "Big Brother."

It's Boston Rob Mariano.

What's up, brother? - Thanks, man.

That's quite the introduction. DERRICK: Yeah!

I'm excited to be here.

We're excited to talk to you.

We know you're watching the season,

but you're not exactly a super fan of it all.

No.

You know, I have some favorites from the old school days.

I remember watching Janelle play.

I love watching Rachel Reilly.

I'm excited to watch her play this season.

And I'm tuned in right now.

What similarities or differences do you see between

"Survivor" and "Big Brother."

I know you as a gamer, you're looking at it

like, how would I do this? - You've been around the block.

I have.

And the truth is, strategically, there are

lots of similarities, right?

The meta game and like, the alliance building,

and the number one thing is adapting to your situation

when things don't go your way.

The obvious differences are we're not on an island.

We're not starving.

The other big difference is on "Survivor,"

there's two different tribes.

So you're managing only to people at a time.

DERRICK: True.

In "Big Brother," it's all on, all the time.

Being locked up in the house all summer

long would be more difficult for me, personally.

Before we really dive in, we got some breaking news.

After Rylie's eviction, the house was in meltdown mode,

and Vince was doing damage control.

Let's take a look.

[whimpering] I'm done.

I can't take it anymore.

I can't take people being in my head.

I can't take people lying to me.

I-- I-- I can't take it.

I'm just-- I'm over this game.

[quietly] The only deciding factor that tore me up

is that two weeks ago, he said he was gonna put you

on the block next to Rachel.

He told you he was gonna put me on the block?

Did he really?

[crying] Yeah.

[sniffling]

Why is everyone crying so much on this show?

- OK, listen-- - Do you cry on "Survivor?"

No.

No, there's no crying on "Survivor."

What are we on, day at this point?

I was in there, man.

About day , day , I was underneath the sheets,

crying every single day.

And I said, never.

I'll never cry.

But here, you have a whole week of just learning

about these people as-- as like, actual people,

not just gamers.

So when they go, you're literally

taking away their dream.

If you care about them.

I feel you.

But like, everybody was good before we came into the house

before the summer.

And now, we're in full meltdown mode.

Heroes versus villains.

Guess what he was. - Villain?

Shocker.

Rob, you've been keeping up with the season.

Yes.

So we are gonna introduce you to something we like

to call Big Move, Bad Move.

Yeah, so we take a look at the last two weeks.

And we see if the moments were a big move,

meaning it was good for the person's game, or a bad move.

And first off, we have Rachel drawing a line in the sand

during her nomination ceremony.

This is Revved Up Rachel.

I have nominated you Vince, Morgan, and Mickey.

Vince, if you're the gardener in this house,

Morgan's planting seeds.

To be completely honest, the two of you

have been trying to run this game since the beginning.

And, Mickey, you are right along with them.

I love you all, personally.

But in this game, I can't allow you to control it.

This nomination ceremony is adjourned.

I love a diva.

I love a diva!

The outfit, the hair, the sass, and the perfect nominations.

Rachel is putting the exact people

up on the block who need to be there at the exact right time.

This is a big move for me.

I agree.

I mean, Rachel has always had the flair for the dramatic.

But I feel like, in this spot, as someone that's come back

into a season as a veteran player

with a bunch of other people, that target

is gonna be illuminated.

They're gonna come after her regardless.

So I feel like it's OK for her to exert in that kind of way.

I liked it.

I'm gonna take it a step further.

Yes, I do agree with you both.

It's a big move. It was the right targets.

But let's not forget they know that she put them on the block.

And all three of those targets are still in the house

right now.

They are.

So I'm actually gonna go bad move, just to change it up.

Well, next up, Vince is stuck between protecting

Rylie or standing with his new alliance, The Judges.

We call this one Judges' Dread.

[whispering] Think about the position that I'm in.

If I evict Rylie, Mickey, Will, Ava,

Rachel, Ashley, those five would evict me the first chance

they get.

And I'm the first one out every single time.

No matter who I'm sitting next to, I am gone.

[whispering] Having Rylie and Keanu connected,

they are way too powerful.

You can't turn your back on the alliance.

With this new alliance, they want to make sure that Rylie

is gone, priority number one.

Too big of a threat, showmance.

But guess what.

Rylie would never put me on the block.

I'm guaranteed to make four to five people happy

and absolutely piss off four to five people on the other side

by not voting the way they wanted me to.

JULIE: Please cast your vote to evict.

Um-- I'm so sorry, man.

I vote to evict Rylie.

So he chose to evict Rylie and stick with Morgan.

Big move or bad move?

I like the way Vince is playing.

I think he's, you know, got his hand

in a lot of different alliances with a lot of different people.

However, he's made a definitive line

in the sand where he has one group on one side

and one group on the other.

And it's tough because like, he is going to alienate

whoever he doesn't go with.

So I'm going to go off script here.

And I'm going to say it's not a big move,

but it's not a bad move.

This is somewhere in the middle.

It's the game that he chose to play

by making all these alliances, getting in all these final twos

beyond that.

He's not setting himself up to be

able to make the big move or the bad move

because he's covered, either way.

Now, if I really have to pick one, I'd say it's a big move.

But I can't say it's the best move.

No.

I mean, "Big Brother," "Survivor," it's a lot of luck.

Sometimes, the ball falls your way.

Sometimes, it doesn't.

So tonight, if you have someone like an Ava

or you have someone like a Will or a Keanu win,

I think that he's going to be safe.

But if it's someone else, he could be in trouble.

Rob, as you can see the strategy in the "Big Brother"

house will switch up all the time.

But let me ask you, do you think

living in the "Big Brother" house would be a vacation?

I don't know if it would be a vacation for me.

I mean, look at what it does to these people

after only a couple of weeks.

You might just double down on that decision.

This piece, we call The Rant Room.

Now, this "Big Brother" house is big nasty.

We live in squalor.

Nobody knows what a broom and dustpan is,

except for me and Kelley and sometimes Rachel.

Why is it such a "anonamaly" to know

that you're supposed to dust?

I honestly haven't even looked on the ground where

I sit sometimes, because I'm afraid I'm

going to see toenails.

And I'm pretty sure that there are a pair of panties

that have been sitting on the floor in our bedroom

for the past week.

I don't think there's a dry towel in this house.

And if it is a dry towel, it's not a really dry towel.

It's just a towel that was used that is on the floor.

I've had to dry off with a freaking rag three

times already in this house.

People don't understand that the dishwasher

is actually meant to be used.

People will genuinely leave half eaten

sandwiches on the counter.

Leaving nasty a*s food on their plates,

throwing it in the sink.

Especially if it's cereal.

And they wonder why we got ants and fruit flies.

We have an aggressive infestation of ants.

This house was built on top of ant city.

I've definitely drank a couple ants in my

coffee already.

Sometimes, I'll be having conversations with people,

and I'll just see an ant crawling on them.

They are here, and they're here to stay,

and they refuse to go.

America, this is what I'm dealing with.

Holy [muted], that's a lot of ants.

DERRICK: When Rachel gets out of the house,

I want someone to ask her what was harder, raising her kids

or raising Keanu?

That's true.

That's a good one.

I do like the relationship between Rachel and Keanu,

though. It's fun.

It's entertaining to watch, considering

I like it.

We gotta talk about our next clip.

Will had a typical start for the old

guy in the "Big Brother" house, on the block week after week.

But over the last month, he's really turned his game around.

I love Will.

I do.

I think he's playing a great game.

He has everybody coming to him for, you know, counsel.

Well, we sent our "BB Unlocked"

camera crews down to North Carolina to check

in on this family man.

What do Gwen and his grandkids think about how he's doing?

I could not imagine being with anyone but Brendon.

I knew I was gonna marry Gwen.

She is my everything.

RACHEL: She's like your person in every way.

She's definitely my person. RACHEL: Yeah.

Without a doubt, my person.

I met Will at work.

I went up to him first.

These grandkids have their Pop-Pop

He loves spoiling them and letting them have their way.

We had already made commitments to watch

our grandkids this summer.

And so for me not to be able to share everything

with him at this moment, that's one thing that I struggle with.

Babe, you got so many other outfits in there.

Wear them, please!

I'm making a new meal.

Gwen's watching, and she's like, you know?

The first couple of weeks, he was struggling.

He feels like he doesn't fit in.

Of course, you don't.

Because you feel like you're hanging

out with your kids all day.

I can hear the grandkids.

What did he do?

When my husband was on the block those two times,

he knows how to adapt and overcome.

I knew he was going to get it together and keep it moving.

I could see Will using his military tactics

while in the house.

He's been processing, gathering his information,

learning who to trust.

So I have all the faith in the world

that he can make it to the end.

What would you want to do with the money, Will?

I would give my kids some money,

finish paying off our house.

Pop-Pop, we miss you.

I feel like Rachel has, from the very beginning,

had a huge target on her.

But she is figuring out different ways to stay alive.

And in this game, you have to adapt.

And she's getting it done.

I can't disagree with that one.

Will has played a phenomenal game.

I think that's going to serve him well in this game.

I think Rachel was pitching the showmance idea

she went and backstabbed that.

I think ultimately, she has a lot of enemies in the house.

But I think Rachael's gonna find a way

to get herself off the block. - We'll see.

Terrifying.

Oh, this game is making me so crazy, it's not even funny.

Because I had to send someone home that I cared so deeply

about, to keep someone else that I care about,

who honestly hasn't been the best

alliance member because she was so focused on Vinny.

I was blindsided with Adrian.

And now, I've been blindsided again

by Vince with the Rylie vote.

I'm just so mad.

My HOH reign this week definitely showed the newbies

how to play the game.

I got out a huge player.

I've forced Keanu to work with me.

I broke up the showmance.

The house is definitely shook.

Class is in session, and these newbies

Rylie going home sucks.

Like, I wasn't mentally prepared for that

to possibly happen.

He wasn't just a number to me.

He was my best friend in the house.

And you know, it hurts on-- on both fronts.

[crying] This game is just really hard.

It's so hard.

I love Rylie.

I didn't want to see him go, but people got in my head,

specifically Rachel.

Feeling like I just threw my game in the trash.

The people who I just voted with,

they could not care less about me.

I guarantee they used me just for this vote.

that I had always been with.
