[MANIACAL LAUGHTER]

Because the mastermind's month of mayhem

begins tonight with an invitation

to the mysterious White Locust resort.

It will be a grueling night of gameplay ending in one

player's shocking demise.

Which houseguest will become the first member of jury?

I've been working with The Judges the past couple weeks,

but honestly, I wasn't sure if it was real.

However, now that they've kept me safe,

this is the first time they've proved

to me that they want to work with me moving forward.

Actions speak louder than words.

This was another one that I felt like I

really, really, really needed.

Because I knew if Mickey won, I was going home.

But someone getting eliminated tonight,

now that is unexpected.

about the White Locust.

Hello, houseguests, my name is Tyler.

Since leaving the "Big Brother" house, I've gotten a new job.

I'm now working as the head concierge at the White Locust.

You heard The Mastermind correctly.

One of your games is indeed ending tonight.

But my boss has graciously arranged for one of you

to survive the night before the chaos truly begins.

This houseguest will not only earn their safety

and survive the White Locust, but will also set tonight's

horrifying events into motion.

If I don't win safety, there might not be

a future for me in this game.

I have absolutely no clue what The Mastermind has in store.

But safety is not a luxury tonight,

it is literally survival.

Here's how it will work.

To save your life.

In the game, you will be competing one at a time.

Press your button to start the clock.

[AIR HORN BLOWS]

You must then slide one totem down each of the three tables

and land a totem in each of the green zones.

Once you've landed a totem in all three green zones,

hit your button to lock in your time.

The player who locks in with the fastest time

earns safety for the night, and will have

a monumental decision to make.

I'm looking in the faces of these houseguests,

and they have no idea what's about to go down.

It's going to end one of their games

and leave the rest scrambling to salvage theirs.

LAUREN: I have to get all three of my totems

in the three green zones in the fastest time.

The player who succeeds will win safety for the night.

And after all the craziness from tonight,

safety is the most important thing.

[INTENSE MUSIC]

TYLER: So Lauren sets the time to beat.

Then one by one, they each step up, their "Big Brother"

life on the line.

Morgan, Kelley, Vince all fail.

They all know their dream of $,

could come to an end tonight.

[AIR HORN BLOWS]

KEANU: This is a game of survival.

Somebody's going to the jury house tonight,

so a chance to win safety is absolutely everything.

will unfold.

ASHLEY: I am completely terrified of what's to come

because I'm still vulnerable.

Somebody's going to leave the game tonight, no matter what.

So I am just hoping and praying that it isn't me.

[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]

TYLER: Soon, you will all return to Hotel Mystére,

but not before you learn how The Mastermind's night of chaos

will unfold.

The Mastermind requires a sacrifice,

and that sacrifice will happen here

at the White Locust resort.

Once back inside, Ava will have a few minutes to choose one

houseguest to send back to the White Locust,

where they will compete for their "Big Brother" life.

I introduce you to The Mastermind's Maniacal Maze.

AVA: Oh!

TYLER: The houseguest who Ava chooses will have and /

minutes to maneuver the maze, to travel the disk from

the outer ring to the center.

Once the disk is in the center area, they must hit the button.

If they fail to hit their button in time, their "Big

Brother" game is over.

Damn.

TYLER: But if they're successful,

they now have the power to decide the next houseguest

to face possible elimination.

Wow.

TYLER: And be warned, they will have one less minute--

Oh, my god.

AVA: Wow.

--than the player who went before them.

Bro.

TYLER: But if they're successful,

they will return to Hotel Mystére, where they will have

the power to decide the next houseguest

to compete against the maze and face possible elimination.

Is it better to face the maze early,

with more time to complete it, or trust

that your social game will keep you from facing it at all?

This sinister sequence of events

will continue until someone fails to finish in time,

ending their game, but allowing the rest of you to survive--

for now.

TYLER: But The Mastermind's nefarious night

has even more at stake.

TYLER: Because the houseguest who successfully beats

the maze in the fastest time will become

the new Head of Household.

Everyone, it's time to return to Hotel Mystére.

Ava, you will have a few minutes

to decide who you'll be sending to compete for their life.

and I actually have no idea what I'm gonna do.

I don't do mazes and stuff in my real life,

so I don't want no part of this thing.

So it's ways that we can stretch it out and some of us

don't actually participate.

That is my goal at this point.

KELLEY: My strategy all night is

to be quiet as a church mouse and hope I don't get picked.

Don't press anybody I didn't want to overwhelm.

Clearly, she does not understand the game.

ASHLEY: My gut is telling me that I

However, I'm just gonna lay low and not

put my hand up because I think I can gamble

and may not get picked at all.

AVA: I don't know what to do.

This is really confusing.

I thought nobody was gonna want to do the hamster wheel.

And then I see Vinny.

Vinny, you want to go?

I'm picking Vinny because he has a game relationship

with almost everyone.

So in picking him, nobody's gonna get upset with me,

because if anybody questions my choice I'll just say, oh, well,

Vinny is your ally.

And in doing that, I also pass the buck off onto him.

RACHEL: Vince is unpredictable.

I'm just praying right now that Vince does the right thing

and keeps The Judges alliance safe--

If I'm gonna do this maze, I want as much time

as I can possibly get.

Each person that's chosen, they get one minute less.

The more rounds that pass, the likelihood of you

messing up increases, and you could be the one going home.

I am nervous, but I'm also kind

of riding an adrenaline high right now

because I just fought for my life in the Blockbuster.

I'm going to ride that high, and I'm

going to save my own game for the second time in one day.

Might as well go first with a maximum amount of time.

Vince, you have minutes and seconds to complete the maze

VINCE: The Mastermind's Maniacal Maze is

a make or break moment for me.

I have to keep this hamster wheel moving

perfectly to ensure that this disk

reaches the end of the maze.

If I complete this maze in and / minutes,

I get to choose who goes next.

I was trying to talk to someone,

and you stood in the doorway and wouldn't let

me have a second with them.

You literally dragged her over here so that none of us

could get a minute with her.

So I assume that now you're going to be targeting me?

thrown you up there last week.

[EXHALES SHARPLY] This is crazy.

It's been a long time out there.

THE MASTERMIND: Vince has been--

THE MASTERMIND: --spared from the White Locust.

- Woo! - Ooh.

THE MASTERMIND: His game continues on.

And I'm just so grateful.

I feel good about this.

I know he's gonna give me everything

I need to go into this and then be able to pick

a Judge to also survive.

This is so far, so good, right?

Now that I've won and guaranteed

my safety for the night, I have a big decision to make.

I know that I want to keep both Lauren and Morgan safe.

I want them to be able to have as much time as possible

to complete this maze.

I just know that if I pick Morgan,

she's not gonna pick Lauren, and that

could put her in danger.

But if I pick Lauren, I feel more confident

that I can convince her to pick Morgan next

and keep both of them safe.

[whispers] If I pick you, will you pick Morgan next?

[whispers] If you put me in there,

then I'll put Kelley in last.

[whispers] There's a chance that we don't get

picked at all.

Clearly, there's no Judges alliance,

At this point, I feel like I'm gonna throw up.

This is really hurtful, because he

wants to give her more time to ensure her safety than mine.

I'm just kind of freaking out a little bit now.

I am a little bit frustrated that I feel like I

can't make my own decision.

I really want to pick an ally next.

I want to pick Kelley because I want to give

her the most time possible.

So I feel like I am kind of up against the wall.

[whispers] What is he thinking?

Why would he put Lauren in?

He's like, I promised Lauren I would go second.

- [GASPS] - Absolutely not.

After everything Morgan's done for him in this game?

I really hope and pray that I'm able to solve this.

So I just have to stick with my gut and just try to win it.

to complete the maze and hit your button.

I know that if I screw this up, I am out of the game.

But the name of the game for this competition

is to not freak out.

Because of the sheer size of this maze,

being so close up to it, it's kind of

hard to figure out how to get this disk all the way

to the center of this maze.

Vince, like respectfully, I'm relying on Lauren, who

literally voted to evict me.

they're safe.

LAUREN: But I know that Vince wants me to choose Morgan,

so I have a lot to think about coming back into the house.

She asked me who I'm picking after.

I know it doesn't.

This is why I was trying to tell

you, the reason why she wanted me is

because she wanted to save--

because I need to make sure that all of us are safe.

and we can just work it down the line.

We can control the situation.

and the numbers start dwindling down,

to complete this and go home.

to complete the maze and hit your button.

This is a little bit trickier than I thought.

However, I'm not letting it break my composure.

This is absolutely perfect.

My plan worked.

All three of us are safe.

This is exactly what I wanted to happen.

So I completed the maze with plenty of time left.

I need to bring the power back to The Judges.

That way, The Judges can continue to run the clock down.

And we can get a target out tonight.

[whispering] It's very easy.

When it's on the bottom you have

to find where the corner is.

Whatever you do, don't go fast.

I still had a minute, like, left.

Honestly, it's not that hard.
