So, right now, we're
pretty slammed.
And that's the thing
with this season.
We started the year
really short on ground.
And that problem got
massively over-solved.
schnabel's mining empire
is spread across
two giant claims.
Dominion...
And Australia creek.
The big issues right now are
keeping dominion going.
It's paying a lot of the bills
so we gotta keep that rolling.
Three-quarters of the
way through the season,
Parker has mined 4,000 ounces.
Now, he needs to
keep his foot on the gas
to fly past his
Well, as we get closer
to the end of the season here,
each day seems to get
a little bit more hectic.
Lots to do, time's running out.
And you gotta stay productive.
So, it's gonna be busy.
Mitch is busy at dominion.
Tyson's up at Australia creek.
He's got the first, kind of,
small section almost done.
He needs to move the plant.
Because of the way we operate,
getting from one cut to the other,
it's always tricky.
It's definitely a big... A
big week at Australia creek.
First set of geese
flying over today,
which means we have
a couple weeks left
till it's gonna start
to get really cold.
You know, this morning
I was up at dominion
talking to Mitch and Parker
and we came to
the conclusion that
having slucifer done,
mining out the first section
of the cut at Australia creek
we can move to the next.
We're pretty close to being done
but we just gotta manage
to keep the wash plant going.
Hopefully get some time to
work on our wash plant pad.
The sooner we get this done,
the better chance we have
at hitting our
Jarvis! Hey!
Wash plant boss, Tyson Lee,
needs to mine
out the first section
of Australia creek's
boomerang cut,
use the waste tailings to build a
new plant pad in the second section,
then move slucifer
and have it up and running in its
new location by the end of the week.
It's pretty tough with the amount
of people we're working with here.
But it's when we really
have to give her 110%.
Look at me, I'm running
around with my snack bag here.
Forget about it,
we're too busy today.
To help move the tailings
to the new plant pad,
Tyson's called in
mechanic Alec Kelly.
I showed up to
Australia creek to,
figure out a generator that
was shutting down randomly.
I seem to have squared
that away so I got
put in a rock
truck/excavator combo here,
self-loading
tailings in slucifer.
Self-loading is
the Yukon cross fit.
You know, it's nice
that Alec's here now.
'Cause now I can get on with
work on our wash plant pad.
There's a lot of work to be
done in the next couple of days
in order for slucifer's
plant move to be seamless.
Now I'm thinking about how to
self-load tailings off of the wash plant.
I've only really ever
played with a loader.
That's a bit of a
different game.
And I can definitely say
that I'm not very good at this.
I'm certainly not
an excavation artist
like the rest of
these guys out here.
The is that?
Shut her down!
I don't know what that
sound is. Shut her down!
Sakes.
This is the last thing we need.
Our shaker
spring is still intact.
These Springs
look all right as well.
Yeah, that's a broken spring.
I think we'll change the spring.
It's that left one there
in the spring pack.
Tyson's hopping in the excavator
and lifting the shaker
deck up off its perch.
Now we're gonna throw the spring in
and hopefully it's about as easy as that.
Downtime equals,
no recovery of gold.
Slucifer separates gold
from larger waste material
with a shaker deck that
vibrates on eight Springs.
One has broken,
triggering an
imbalance and putting
slucifer at risk of
causing terminal damage.
To fix it, Tyson will lift the
shaker deck with a 480 excavator,
replace the broken spring,
then lower it back
into place, and fire up.
Is it the top, Alec?
Yeah, we'll try to
pick it on this side.
Give her some down there.
Keep curling, keep
curling and stop.
So, it probably got
a little hurt right there
where it was clapping against
the other part of the spring there.
It hammers extra hard and then
just broke it the rest of the way.
Hopefully it just
slides right in, Tyson?
Hopefully. If not
I have more jam.
I want peanut butter.
Well, hey!
That's actually like butter.
Let her down just till
it sits on the spring.
That works really well.
New spring's in.
Let's try and get
her fired back up.
Hopefully it runs flawlessly
for the rest of this cut.
Let's see how far we get.
After just one
hour of downtime...
Yeah, we're back sluicing.
Slucifer is back
up and running...
- Nice job, Alec.
- Yeah.
On the gold trail.
And Tyson is on track to finish
the first section of the boomerang cut
and get the plant
moved to its new pad.
You know, when stuff goes wrong,
it only delays moving slucifer.
I'm hoping to be able to
move the plant in 12 hours.
We're working with a
very short timeline here.
This transition really
has to be seamless.
It's gonna take a lot
of work and a lot of
diligence to get done
what needs to get done.
Well, finally,
after a long wait,
we are back in rally valley.
Um, I've been monitoring it all
season hoping to get in there.
We've got the pump in there
and the water's coming out.
So, I'm excited for it.
mountains above keno,
the end of the
season is approaching
and Rick ness has
mined just 385 ounces
of his 1,000-ounce season goal.
What I wanna do is,
I'm gonna have to get a huge
stockpile out of rally valley,
pile up on the pad,
at the same time while we're running
rocky, keep the gold coming in there.
And then we're just
gonna switch right over.
We're gonna pull the pumps, the
generators, get everything over here.
But I wanna wait till the
last second to do that.
I wanna wait till we're
ready because I don't wanna
have any days where
we're not getting gold.
To hit his goal and secure
his future at Duncan creek,
Rick is piling up the
pay he hit last week
and draining the water to reach the
bottom of the pit where the best gold lies.
Then, he plans to move the pump
from rocky and fire up monster red.
It's been a long season
waiting to get into rally valley,
um, lot of ounces of gold we need to
get this year, you know, going for 1,000.
That's what I need to be
able to get a good crew in here
and pay the final bill off to be able to
own this ground at the end of the season.
If I can't afford to pay
Troy Taylor off, I default,
and, you know, everything I've been
working for on this county goes away.
There's a whole lot riding
on the end of the season here.
Um, you know,
my future for sure.
I can't afford to not
have gold coming in
so our only choice here is to try and
keep rocky going for as long as we can.
A mile upstream,
in the bench cut,
foreman buzz legault is in charge
of keeping the gold coming in.
The bench cut is
averaging 60 ounces a week,
the best gold of
Rick's season so far.
But the last time
he mined rally valley,
its weekly average was over 200.
I'm excited for it.
You know, Ryan and I did a couple
pans and we got into some, you know,
some pretty good gravel.
Bunch of gold in it.
All right, now, I'm working on this
spot here that's kind of like the worst...
The worst spot of the high wall.
Yeah, I'm a little concerned
with some of these banks.
I'm not trying to slope
it down as we go.
Just to keep us, you know, keep us safe
and keeping out the catastrophe from...
From knocking us out of
rally valley before we're...
Before we're ready.
The gold-rich rally
valley pay layer
is at the foot of a
Rick must position
his 700 excavator
on a narrow pad at
the base of the cliff,
dig out the pay, then load the rock trucks
to haul it out on a steep, uneven road.
If Rick is not careful,
he could trigger a landslide
that would Bury him and his crew
under hundreds of tons of dirt.
Obviously, the
pressure is on right now.
Um, everybody's feeling it.
You know, nobody...
Nobody is immune to that.
I'm working with big Rick
now. The big Rick ness.
Though it's pretty cool to
be coming into rally valley,
this is some real rock truck,
trucking, I'll tell you that.
Hauling the pay to the stock
pile, operator Trey Charlie.
If you're first starting
out on a rock truck,
this is definitely not the road
you wanna be trained up on.
That's for sure.
She's a bit risky.
I got my seat belt
on, just in case.
There's still a chance of
rocks coming down off the wall
but we said there's
no getting away from it.
Everybody's just
gotta pay attention.
The road down
here is pretty slimy.
Holy.
I'm sliding right now.
Hey, hey! Hold on!
Holy.
Hey, hey! Hold on!
In rally valley... I'm sliding.
No.
Rick has stopped Trey's rock
truck from sliding into his 700
using the excavator's arm.
Come on. There we go.
So, I got my boss, Rick,
pushing me out of here.
Yeah. That'll
get him. All right.
Just don't look back.
Just keep looking up.
Basically maybe 30
degrees pointing up.
Well, you just try to
drive away on slime,
that's what's gonna happen.
This is a giant pain
in the a*s right here.
Yeah, we had one whole rock truck
slipping on the... On the mud here
so, I'm fixing the road.
Well, I'm just trying to scrape some of
this slop on the road just to make sure
that the trucks are not gonna have
any problems getting out of this pit, so...
Man.
It's looking like a pilot line.
It's the only big hole we have
and now with that parked in the
middle of road down into rally valley,
everything's blocked right now.
It ain't movable with
a blown hydraulic line.
The blown hydraulic
hose has disabled the 700,
halting his mission to
stockpile rally valley pay dirt.
Pilot line. It's gonna
be, like, 20 feet long.
I know we don't have
any pilot line stock.
It's gonna have to
come from white horse.
And that ain't happening today.
Probably not tomorrow either.
I'd imagine it's gonna
be two days, three.
Hey, Chelsea, how's it going?
What's up, butthole?
You want some more dirt?
How're you feeling about it? Are
you happy we're up and running?
I think everyone was kinda
losing faith there for a moment, so...
Yeah.
It's good to be sluicing again.
After four months battling to get
their paradise hill trommel running,
the beets are finally sluicing
for gold 24 hours a day.
Tony's mined less
than 600 ounces.
And his slim hopes of
hitting his 6,000-ounce target
and keeping the family's
finances in the black
now rest on the trommel.
Hey, Tony.
Hey, you wanna come here? I
wanna talk to you about something.
No. I'm trying to
save you money.
You know this is actually
quite serious, right?
There's six, seven
million in the hole.
Hardly any gold to show for.
I know, but I can't pay
people with pay dirt, right?
We have to do something because
this is running out of hand, man.
So, I did find this program.
And they have the guy that
specializes in more efficient ways
of getting your
dirt moved around.
He will come out to decide
and he will look things over.
I mean, like, you will be
saving on fuel, stuff like that.
He can tell you
whether you're
efficient yay or nay.
Yeah.
That's... I very
much appreciate that.
I guess you're
allowed to leave now.
I'm headed to paradise hill. I've
been, called by Ms. Minnie beets
to have a little talk with
Tony beets and to see if
we can make some improvements
on the way his operation is working.
Dirt moving efficiency
expert Doug Phillips
has been working with
big iron for 30 years.
Hopefully we can help
them make some changes
that will result in some money.
If you can get five or 10%
more during the season,
that's a lot of money
in your pocket.
Hey. Hey, hey, Tony.
Good. Doug Phillips.
Nice to meet you.
Yeah.
Every miner gets
behind for some reason.
So, any time that
you can catch up,
make up some time,
run less machines...
Make more money.
It all makes sense.
So, if you've got time,
I need a little bit of information
before I can run this program,
so, I'd love to take a ride and...
and see what the mine looks like now.
Yes. We need to.
All right.
What I'm actually gonna
do is use a hand held GPS.
I'm gonna put an
antenna on top of the truck
so the satellites are gonna
lay out the road for me on GPS.
I'll be able to see every
grade, every curve.
Doug is using a special
site-simulation software program
to analyze the route Tony's rock
trucks take between the trommel
and the super pit on the
other side of paradise hill.
That's pretty steep
right there, up and down.
It looks like if we
could utilize this area
and build a straight short road,
we could take almost
all the grade out of this
which would greatly increase the
productivity than this existing road.
I also notice that every truck is backing
into an excavator and getting loaded.
It's quite a time savings
to just drive the truck
up the side of that
excavator and get loaded.
Time is money, no
doubt, for these guys.
They have to move as
much material as possible, so,
every load of pay dirt needs to hit
that trommel as quickly as possible.
Survey done, Doug is
ready to deliver his verdict.
Hey, Doug.
Hey, guys, how're you doing?
Well, I do have some results.
The first thing I can see is when you
come in to where the excavators are
and every truck
pulls up, backs up.
If those trucks can pull
up beside that excavator,
and let them load over the side,
that truck never
goes into reverse
you will actually produce
I'm gonna make
another suggestion.
If we limit the speed of those
trucks to 20 miles per hour
you'll see some
more fuel savings.
My last suggestion
is gonna be this.
Make a new road that's
straight to that trommel.
That crooked road
is 5,517 feet long.
It's got some
pretty steep grades,
some of them were eight,
some of them were 12.
When you put in this new
road, it is 4,423 feet long
so that's 1,200 feet
shorter one way.
At 5.34 a gallon,
that's $80,000 savings.
That's amazing.
What are you
doing standing here?
Go make the road.
As well as saving Tony $80,000,
a shorter road should also allow him
to haul more pay dirt to the plant faster
and bring in
millions more in gold.
Now, he needs to complete the
mammoth task of building the new road
and keep his trommel fed 24/7.
We're almost done. We're getting
ready for another plant move.
Hopefully we can
just keep things rolling.
At Parker schnabel's
Australia creek operation,
plant boss Tyson Lee has mined out
the first section of the boomerang cut.
Shut her down.
He's now in a race to
move slucifer to its new pad
and fire up by the time
night shift takes over.
So, right now we've done
the first pit of Australia creek.
We just start tearing slucifer
down, get slucifer moved over here,
hoping this can be a seamless...
Hey, Tyson, do you have a copy?
I see Jarvis with blood
pissing out of his leg.
You gotta come over here.
Jarvis is hurt. I gotta go.
I don't have time for this.
Tyson's dog,
Jarvis, has cut his leg
and needs to be rushed to
Dawson city, 50 miles away.
With Tyson not
here, it's down to us.
Time is definitely
of the essence.
I mean, I hope Tyson's dog is okay
but there's a ton of work here to be done.
It's absolutely crazy.
It's now down to operator Damien
browne and mechanic Alec Kelly
to move slucifer.
You're just excreting
body odor there, Damien.
- You're working so hard.
- Gotta get this done for night shift!
That's right!
They need to drag the 45
ton wash plant off its pad,
then 300 feet across the
cut with the 750 excavator.
All right, give her some drag.
Get this wash plant moved.
Damien's worked for
Parker for three seasons.
But this is his first
ever plant move.
Are we all good on
the left-hand side?
Alec, ...Right hand
side along that bank.
Yeah, you're just brushing
up under the soft material.
We got the wash
plant down the hill
and it didn't come sliding at
me, which was a massive bonus.
Damien, it's the
Next step, pull sluicifer
up a sharp 30-degree ramp
to the top of a
Yeah, this hill is quite steep.
Um, it's a lot of work
to be trying to drag up.
It's really going
to be slipping a lot.
So this is gonna tell a lot
and if we get half way
up and we get stranded,
it's gonna be a mission.
When you start hitting that
incline up there, Damien,
we got one shot to make it up.
I'll go up top and I'll
give you instructions.
Well, here we go!
If we don't get it up here,
I mean, man, Tyson
is gonna be pissed.
Use the hydraulic
assist to pull.
What was that?
Hey, Damien, what the. Whoa!
Well, the plant's sliding away.
Boy, easy!
Um, man, this is sketchy.
Good job. I have
the seat belt on.
Leave your bucket behind
and just walk away from it.
You think Tyson would
cry if he'd seen this?
Yeah.
Come this way, girl.
More throttle, more throttle.
Get her, get her, get her.
All right, keep her
pulling. Steady. Steady.
Moment of truth.
All right, hold it there.
I like what I see, Damien.
Just six hours
after shutting down,
Damien has sluicifer
safely in position.
I wasn't actually sure if
we were gonna get it up,
so I'm just happy. I'm super
happy that it's on top of the hill.
So we just gotta
get our stacker in
and our feeder in, water pump
and waterline set up.
And fire it up.
So this morning, I
left Jarvis in the truck.
I had the windows
up as I do now.
He must have lowered the window
with his paws,
smashed this mirror
and cut himself pretty bad.
So the injury is very...
here, where the stitches are.
Luckily, we have an
amazing vet in Dawson.
Last time I was
that scared was...
When I lost my old dog, link.
That's why I'm so
careful with Jarvis.
Can't lose him.
You stay, jarv, you stay.
You're okay. Lie down.
Hey, guys. How is it going?
- Tyson, how is Jarvis?
- He was a hurting unit.
Yeah, he had to get
stitches, had a torn tendon.
That's unfortunate.
- Just glad he's okay, man.
- Yeah.
Looks like you guys
have... pretty well here.
- Yeah.
- -Well thanks for doing this, guys.
- Sorry to leave you high and dry.
- No problem.
- May be we sluicing by the end of the day.
- Yeah.
- Nice shift.
- Yeah.
- Great shift.
- Nice work, guys.
- Yep. Right on.
- Good to see you back here, Tyson.
Thanks, man.
These guys have done
really good without me
and, you know, it's nice to...
Know that everything's
still going on here when
I've got some personal
issues to deal with.
Keep it going.
Keep it going.
And stop.
And we're trying to line
our super stacker up square
with the center of
sluciifer's prewalk.
Okay, it's straight
enough for our purposes.
We're just working on the
final piece of the puzzle.
We're just about to
back the feeder in.
Little more on the
turn in there. Yeah.
And stop.
Yeah, that looks good there.
Well, shall we
fire her up and see
what cut to up
Australia holds for us?
Sure.
There she goes.
Hell yeah.
Nice work, man.
Thanks for coming back.
Rick ness's crew has been
running bench cut pay all week
and has also
managed to stockpile
some pay from rally valley.
But his mission to
reach the bottom of the pit
where the biggest gold lies
has been at a
standstill for three days.
Finally, it's got the hoses
we need to replace...
On the 700, so
basically get these put on.
Hopefully, get this
thing back to work.
Machines got to work non-stop. You
only got a limited amount of time out here.
Hey, Rick, I got that hose
installed that came in this morning.
Wanna come down
here and give it a test?
Got it all bunned up?
- Yep, all done.
- , buddy.
It's good, man.
- Hell yeah, man.
- Cool.
- Get the trucks in here.
- Start hauling, man.
Sounds good, dude.
- Thanks again, buddy.
- Yep, no problem, man.
Fist bump.
This 700, up and running,
Rick can get back
to stockpiling pay
and digging deeper to
the bottom of rally valley.
We're making
headway on rally valley
and there's no better feeling
than getting a lot of gold.
And Rick says there's
a lot of gold down here,
so... I'm happy to help out.
Tapping to this'll take you a lot longer
to get down to the bottom of this than I...
You know, than I'd hope, but, you
know, we are able to load this out.
Right now, it's
what I'm trying to do.
I'm trying to create as
much space as I can,
so that we can get this pump
dropped again, get this water down.
Hey, Ryan, come on
down here with the tools
to move this pump,
please. See you in a bit.
To drain the cut and
expose the deeper pay layer,
Rick needs to swing
the two-ton pump
over the water to a lower path.
The pump's gotta
go down in steps.
And as we do, we've gotta
provide new access to it
'cause it's getting
deeper and deeper.
We'll just hook
out of the thing.
We'll swing that
over, and then...
When you guys kinda see where
it's going again, we can kinda...
Get that lay flat and
going on general direction.
- All right, cool.
- All right, let's do this... Carefully.
Every time, we move this pump,
we run the danger of damaging it.
As I said, it's probably
a $150,000 pump
and, it's the only one we've
got for draining this cut,
so if I this thing up, we're
pretty much screwed here.
The last thing I need
this year is to lose a pump.
Yo, why is that
thing leaning so high?
Holy... Rick... Holy.
Yo, why is that
thing leaning so high?
- Rick...
- Holy.
Yeah, I don't like that.
I don't like that at all.
At Duncan creek...
Come down a little bit.
Let me get it unhooked.
Rick ness is lowering a pump
to drain rally valley
and expose the nugget rich pay
at the bottom of the pit.
It looks like the cable
got twisted up on them.
This, this plate right here
has got a hell of a bending,
and whenever you swung
it, luckily, it didn't break
the welds and lose
the pump in the water.
We got lucky with that one.
That was pretty close.
I hope I don't gotta move the
pump too many more times.
It will take a day to
pump out enough water
to allow Rick to keep digging.
While he waits, he
inspects the stockpile.
I definitely like
what I'm seeing here.
We got a good-sized
pile of dirt going.
There should be plenty of gold.
Probably about 9,000, 10,000
yards is what we got sitting here.
I'd really like... I'd really like to
have about 30,000 yards up here.
Until Rick fires up monster red,
he won't know if rally valley
holds the gold he needs
to save his season.
I really think we're
running out of time and,
um, I don't know if we'll
have time to run that much,
but I'd rather have too
much than not enough.
We... we need to get
this plant started up.
After having his paradise
hill mine site analyzed,
Tony has spent three
days and over $20,000
building a new road in the
hope it saves him money
and helps get him
more gold faster.
From the trommel, Tony's
old haulage road is a mile long
winding up and down
steep terrain to his super pit.
His new road is shorter,
flatter and straighter.
To see how much time
and money it will save,
Tony plans to
race one rock truck
on the old road at full speed,
and another on the new road
limited to just 20 miles per hour.
Yep.
Old road, new road?
You have to take...
The safety's still on.
Yeah.
Do you even know how
to drive that thing, Michael?
Out of the gate,
Monica takes the lead
and heads for the old road.
I'm stuck at 20, but
Monica's got full range.
Well, I'm going 40.
This is a hell of a lot more
gradual than the other one.
I lose speed every time
I have to go up a hill.
Get the out of my
way, Michael beets.
And just beautiful gradual road.
Literally cuts our...
Our distance in half.
Give or take, four.
Five and a half, six.
Yep.
Even with the rock trucks
limited to 20 miles per hour,
the new road shaves off
two minutes per round trip,
saving Tony hundreds
of thousands of dollars
and allowing him
to run more pay dirt
in his race to 6,000 ounces.
It's coming.
Somebody called
for a life guard?
Is this what I've
been waiting on?
g*ons.
Be free.
That is the new state-of-the-art
water-measuring device -yeah.
Unicorns have special
devices in their horns
that are good at telling
the depth of water.
- It's like a sonar.
- Yeah.
Look at that rainbow
on the unicorn.
Dude, come on!
Nice fire.
- Yeah.
- Toasty.
Yeah.
How you feeling, buzz?
How do you feel?
- I know...
- How do you feel? That's the question.
Well, I mean... Of
course, you know.
It's... it's getting to be
close to the end here.
We need to focus all our
resources on rally valley.
You know, that's a deep cut and
we've got limited amount of space
to get rolled in there
and so it's steep
and... you know, the
trucks are struggling.
And, Trey, I know you
slid back a bit, but...
- That was interesting, but, um...
- -Yeah.
Maybe keep me
out of the rock truck.
Leave it up to the pros.
We're not getting
gold out of rally valley.
But luckily, we're
still getting gold
because the bench
cut is still running.
Rick has mined 385 ounces
and needs over 70 ounces a week
to hit his 1,000-ounce goal.
But so far, the bench cut
is averaging just over 60.
All right, let's see
what we got there.
These are getting heavy man.
We got... Five, ten,
twenty... five, thirty...
Five, forty... five...
Fifty... five, sixty...
Five, seventy...
- Seventy-five point four six ounces.
- -Yes!
Yeah. Yeah.
Whoo!
- Yeah.
- That looks awesome.
Worth over a $150,000,
Rick's biggest gold
weigh of this season.
That's a pile of
gold, guys. Nice.
Yeah, the pile
just keeps growing.
That puts us at...
- Nice.
- -That's a good amount of gold.
That's a good amount of gold.
Bench cut just gets better
and better and better and better.
It really does.
The bench has been
good gold, but, um...
You know, I know there's
better stuff in rally valley
and we need to...
We need to get...
We need to get on our
horses and get it out of there.
We need solid run out of
monster red end of season.,
and to do that, I think,
we need to just put
everything we got into it. Otherwise,
we're gonna run out of time.
Let's just get on it.
We had the gold weigh over
You know, ultimately, I
know where we're going,
that's rally valley and um...
How we get there? I guess
that's to be determined,
but that's where we're gonna get
the gold for the rest of our season.
- Hello, guys.
- Hi, guys.
You brought us some goodies?
You might as well do the honors.
It's Tony's first full week
running paradise
hill's trommel 24-7
with his new road saving
him time and money.
We had dug out here... I mean,
that sure was a hell because
that cut down on our...
On everything. On
time, consumption...
But that has stopped
considerable, right?
Yeah, about a minute
and a half. Mike was faster.
That adds up fast.
It does make a difference
and... With fuel and everything.
Last season, the trommel
averaged over 280 ounces a week.
Ruby, you can count.
Ooh.
Worth $440,000.
Tony's best haul of the season.
But still way short
of what he needs
to hit his 6,000-ounce goal.
So you guys better go
back to work I guess?
- How are you?
- Good.
- You feeling better?
- Yeah.
- You sound better.
- Yeah.
I knocked off a little bit...
A little bit early yesterday
- and just laid down and crashed...
- Nice.
Just to catch up on some sleep.
Two-thirds of the weigh
through the season,
Parker has mined 4,000 ounces
of his 5,000-ounce goal.
- Yeah, it's Australia creek.
- Bring it on.
Australia creek's weekly
average is 130 ounces.
We got 30
What else you got
hiding over there?
All kinds of fun stuff.
This came out of that cleanup.
Plus the super fines
that I melted into a disk.
That's another 5.65 ounces.
So we wind up
with 103.85 ounces.
Worth $207,000.
The three types of gold
that I call the super fine
stuff that I have to melt,
nuggets and...
The regular stuff.
Little bit of everything.
We're almost at the
drilling estimate already
and we still have a
lot of sluicing to do.
- So that's good.
- Yeah.
This is the money pit.
Here we go big red.
For the last three weeks,
the money pit has
averaged 480 ounces a week.
What do we got? 30, 40.
There's a 100.140,
keep going, keep going.
- 350.
- That's good.
also down on last week,
but still worth over $720,000.
I mean, it's not always
gonna be 500 ounces a week,
or whatever we've been doing.
So, with Australia creek at 103
and the pit at 361,
our weekly total
is 465.2 ounces.
Our season total is
If things keep rolling
the way they are
any disasters and
everything else
and the ground stays consistent,
we have a real good shot
at hitting 5,000 next week.
That is crazy 'cause
at the start of the year,
man, when you
said, "we really need"
"try 5,000 ounces." I was like,
"that is gonna be about
next to impossible."
I mean, since when can
big red do 2,000 ounces
in like... less than...
What? A month?
- Not hardly much more than a month.
- -Yeah.
Crazy. Yeah. Of all
the ground we've mined,
I'm glad it's this stuff
that's doing that...
Those kind of numbers.
Pretty sweet, man.
