fixing up this old porch chair.

warm afternoons like this,

when I can sit on the
porch, read my newspaper,

and keep an eye

I'll go get my
newspaperand give it a try.

[Sprocket barks]

wanted a porch chair.

Now here it is,
and it's all mine.

The Grapes of Generosity.

Huh! Funny how I found these

right after Mokey read
usthe legend about 'em.

According to Mokey's old book, the
Grapes of Generosity magically appear

to those who really need 'em.

Oh, but that's silly.

Why, the Grapes of
Generositymake a Fraggle generous,

and I'm already generous.

In fact, now I'll take some of these
homeand surprise all my friends with them.

I'll just make
sure they're ripe.

[lips smacking] Mmm!
Mmm-mmm. Wow.

Those are the best-tasting
thingsin the Rock.

Wembley and Red and Mokey and Booberare
gonna gorg out on these. [chuckles]

and Jockesses Picnic.

A Fraggle becomes very generous,
unless, of course, he eats them alone

and doesn't share
them with his friends.

What happens then?

absolutely ridiculous.

today I discovered a place

that demonstrates how
generousthe silly creatures really are.

When you first enter these places,
you are given a shiny silver wagon

of your very own.

Everyone has one.

And then you get to fill up your
wagonwith all sorts of things.

I got a lot of round
metal cylinders

and some very
interesting cold bricks.

Ooh. Ah. Oh. [chuckles]

[blowing]

I finally realized why the silly
creatureswere being so generous.

They have the
Grapes of Generosity.

Oh! [lips smacking]

Sometimes I fault the silly
creaturesfor their behavior...

Thank you very much.

But their unselfishness
knows no bounds.

Oh. [grunts]You mean I
actually dropped it out there?

- Well, you said you did, Gobo.-[groans]

Ta-da! Here it is,
Gobo! [chuckling]

[sighs]

Oh, good, Wembley.

Just... Why don't you put it
overnext to my guitar for safekeeping.

Whoa!

Gobo, Gobo, are you

for heaven's sake,

And Red Fraggle has challenged
youto a rock-climbing contest, Gobo.

You will note, though,
Jocks and Jockesses,

that although I sent out my
emissarieswith the challenge some time ago,

Gobo Fraggle
has not yet arrived.

[Fraggle] That's
right. Yeah, that's right.

I think it is safe to
saythat he is not coming!

[all cheering and clamoring]

He says that he's gonna...

He says he'll beat
youwhile carrying a boulder.

Oh, yeah? Well, where is he?

I'll give him to the count
of ten.[clears throat]

[Red] One...
- Two...-[groans]

three, four... three, four...

-I'm not gonna
make it.-...five, six...

seven, eight, nine, ten!

Whoa.

Gobo Fraggle obviously doesn't
wantto hand over the trophy.

-[Fraggle] That's right.-He's
hiding somewhere in disgrace.

[Gobo groaning]

Rumple is right,

I'm not hiding in disgrace.

I'm floating on this ceiling.

[Sprocket howling]

Oh, please,
Sprocket, don't howl.

[howling]

Oh, I know you like sleepingin
my new chair, Sprocket.

-I recovered it.-[howls]

-I repainted it.-[howls]

[howling]

[panting] Gobo! Gobo!

and I ate them without sharing.

to berock-climbing champion.

Yeah.

Well, except, uh, at the

this because, well, I wanted
to be generous, and I wasn't.

I ever have in the Great Hall,

-so, I think you deserve

There is just one
thingyou should know, Red.

Well, what's that?

Uh, being generous gives
a Fragglehis weight back.

-Whoa!-[all gasping]

[all cheering]

And so, when I foundthe
Grapes of Generosity,

I thought, "Now we'll
all be more generous."

But when I ate them, they were so
good, I couldn't bear to part with them.

-I became less
generous.-And weightless.

- Mm-hmm.[all] Mmm.
- Mm-hmm.[all] Mmm.

Those grapes teach
generositythe hard way, don't they?

-[all] Mm-hmm.-Boy, I'll say.

Yeah, but they sure do teach it.

You know, could I give
you the shirt off my back?

Wembley.-Oh, yeah. [laughs]

Everything I have is anybody's.

[all] Oh!
