Both: Bark! Bark!
Bingo and Rolly, couple of puppies
- They bark and chase and chew
-Both: Bark!
There's a guy named Bob
who makes up inventions
A couple puppies can use
- But when Bob's away
-See you later, pups!
The pups will play-ay-ay
On a mission 'round the world
Tryin' to save the day

[barking]
Bingo/Rolly: "A Light for the
Lighthouse!"
[Bob chuckles]
This road trip's been such
a blast, hasn't it guys?
I can't believe this is
our last night in Maine!
Oh, already? Maine is my favorite place
we've visited so far.
[laugh] You say that about
every place we visit, Rolly.
That's 'cause they're all tied
for my favorite! What a country.
[barking]
We've gotta check into
our hotel in a few hours,
but first, we're making
an important stop at...
a lighthouse! [laugh]
Maine has tons of lighthouses,
and I've taken pictures of all of them,
except this one!
Once I take a photo of this lighthouse,
my collection will be complete.
Whoa!
-Ow! [grunting]
-[clicking]
[laughs]
-[shutters snapping]
-Wow!
...baby sea turtles.
Oh! And here's a fun fact.
Lighthouses were made for boats
to see the land at night.
-Were they now?
-They were!
Most boats don't use lighthouses anymore,
thanks to modern technology,
but they keep the light shining
-just in case somebody needs them.
-Absolutely fascinating!
-[shutters snap]
-[laugh] I think so, too!
-I love getting the chance to tell people
-[barking]
all about lighthouses.
I can't believe Hissy wanted to keep
napping instead of coming out here.
Yeah. When it lights up,
Bob's face is gonna go all... [squeal]
And then he'll finally
get that photo he wants.
Now this area is puppy approved,
so you guys can go play
while I find the perfect
angle for my photo!
[barking]
-Rolly: Have fun!
-Bingo: Good luck, Bob!
-[both laughing]
-Ooh, a tide pool!
-Funsies! Woo-hoo! Yeah!
-[splash]
[giggling]
[sigh] Perfect spot to watch
the lighthouse light up.
-[bubbling]
-Hope you don't mind waiting a while
'cause the lighthouse won't be
lighting up until next Tuesday.
But it has to though!
-Bob wants to take a photo of it.
-Sorry, little landlubbers.
The lighthouse is broken,
and, no one can fix it for a few days,
and since ships don't use
lighthouses much nowadays,
there's no rush. Harrumph.
But there's a rush for us.
We're leaving Maine tomorrow!
And a lighthouse without
a light is just... a house.
Bob can't put a picture
of that in the album.
It bothers me to see
the lighthouse dark, too.
I'm kind of the unofficial
lighthouse lobster.
Well, if this is your lighthouse,
maybe you can help us fix it.
Yeah! Why wait till Tuesday?
-We can do it!
-It'll be our mission! What do you say?
I do know this lighthouse
better than just about anybody.
-[snap]
-I, uh, I'll try to help you fix it!
Thanks Mister, uh, what's your name?
Captain Barnacle P. Filament,
but my friends call me Captain Phil.
Lead the way, Captain Phil!
Rolly: Instead of a lighthouse, they
should call it a stair house! [giggling]
[panting]
Behold! The lantern room!
We gotta figure out
why the light won't turn on.
I'll check the wires here, and you
pups check the light switch over there.
Both: Aye-aye, Captain!
Hm... One of these is supposed
to turn the light on,
-but I can't tell which switch is which.
-Well then,
let's flip each switch
to see which is which!
-[click]
-[seagulls cawing]
Nope, not that switch.
-[click, slamming]
-[chuckle]
-[click]
-[sea shanty playing]
Sweet switch, but not
the switch we're searching for.
-This one?
-[click]
[creaking]
-Rolly: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
-Bingo: Dizzy!
-[click]
-What are you lads doing?
It's like you never been
in a lighthouse before.
We haven't been
in a lighthouse before.
This is the switch to turn the light on.
-Why's it not working?
-[fizzling]
The wires were fine and the switch moves,
but I don't know what's wrong!
We'll never get it working!
Sorry, I get a bit flustered
when it comes to my lighthouse.
-I'm real fond of it.
-We get it,
and we'll help you get
that old, cracked light bulb
-shining in no time.
-Thanks, pu-- Uh, what?
Did you say
the light bulb's cracked?
-It looks like it.
-Rolly, that's it!
-That's why it isn't working!
-Kelp and mackerel!
We can fix the lighthouse
before you go!
We need a new light bulb
that looks like that one!
I'll throw the old one,
and you find a new one.
-Both: Aye-aye, Captain!
-Rolly: Let's double dog do this!
Rolly: Another lighthouse? There are
so many lighthouses in Maine.
Come on. The town's this way!
[creaking]
Rolly: The stores at home sell light
bulbs. Maybe stores in Maine do, too.
-Yay, Maine!
-Brand new kind of light bulb!
-Try your first one free, today only!
-Free? Our favorite price.
-[whirring]
-Oh yeah!
Thanks, Maine.
[blinking]
-Uh-uh.
-What do you mean "uh-uh?"
Won't fit. Only a special
type fits in the lighthouse.
-This one's too small.
-We'll find another one. Be right back.
Too long.
Too wide. Too small. Too curly.
Too blinky! Keep trying.
[scraping]
-Too burger shaped.
-[both sigh]
It's getting dark. What if we
don't find the light bulb in time?
We will. We just need to think of
somewhere
that would have the right bulb
for a lighthouse.
-A lighthouse.
-That's what he said, pup.
No, another lighthouse. We passed
a bunch of them while driving with Bob.
-They're all over.
-Right.
Maybe one of them has an extra bulb.
A friend of mine lives by that old
lighthouse that way. Maybe he can help.
Here he is, lads. My old pal,
Claw Leblobster.
Pleased to meet you, pups.
Phil says you need a light bulb.
Then you came to the right
place 'cause I'm an inventor
and lighthouse expert!
The Leblobster family has been collecting
lighthouse light bulbs since I was a kid.
-That's the collection.
-Whoa!
And that there's just like
the bulb we're looking for!
I know how much these bulbs
mean to you, Mr. Leblobster.
Will you let us have that one
to fix Phil's lighthouse?
Ooh, I don't know.
I really wanna help you,
but I'd hate to have
an empty spot on that shelf.
Then how about we trade you for it? This
isn't a lighthouse light bulb, but maybe--
Ah! [laugh]
Kennebunkport! It's magnificent!
Yes, yes, yes! Let's trade!
-See you, Claw!
-Bingo/Rolly: Thanks again! Bye!
Good luck on your mission.
-[buzzing]
-[laugh]
[buzzing]
Huh. The lighthouse should be on by now.
If it doesn't light up soon,
I won't get my picture
before checking into the hotel.
[panting]
-Come on, Rolly!
-We did it!
We got the li-- Ah!
Both: No!
-Maybe it'll be okay.
-[shattering]
-It's not okay.
-[whining]
[grumble]
I can't believe I broke the bulb.
-[sniffling]
-[squeaking]
And this firefly makes me feel even worse.
[sigh] It's like a little
flying light bulb.
Rolly, that's it!
We don't need a light bulb!
The fireflies can help us
light up the lighthouse!
Yeah, but one little firefly
can't light it up.
-Or even two, for that matter.
-No, but lots of fireflies can.
We'll fill the lighthouse with tons
of little lights instead of a big one!
Bingo: We need to figure out
how to get that many fireflies.
-Um...
-[squeaking]
I think they're attracted
to our collar lights, Rolly.
-Maybe we can get them to follow us.
-Yeah!
-[laughing]
-Those are some clever pups!
Oh, the light bulb broke
But the mission's not over
[Rolly chuckling]
The solution to our problem
Is hovering in front of our eyes
[squeaking]
'Cause we're not alone
Look at all of these helpers
The local bug population can
help illuminate the night
That's right.
See how they turn themselves on
One by one and light up the night
When we work together
Small things add up to something
Big and bright and light up the night
See how they sparkle
Small things add up like
A swarm of summer fireflies
Fireflies
Captain Phil: Where are the pups?
I'm a nervous lobster.
They've been gone a long--
-Oh, that's all you--
-Bingo: Wait for it!
[sigh] Well, I guess I won't get
a picture of this lighthouse after--
What!? Great glowing gears!
It's magnificent! [laugh]
I'm gonna get my photo after all!
And I've never seen
a lighthouse this bright before!
[camera flash]
I don't tear up easy, but this is so
beautiful, it's making me cry.
Bob: Bingo! Rolly!
Come see the lighthouse!
Thanks for everything, Captain.
We can take you back to the ocean
on our way to Bob.
Thanks for coming, fireflies.
Hang out for a bit. And I opened the
windows so you can exit when you're ready.
-See you around, land lubbers!
-[beeping]
This is Captain Phil.
I'm ready to dive, dive, dive.
-[submarine klaxon]
-Rolly: Bye, Captain Phil!
[barking]
[laugh] There you guys are!
Oh, look. Isn't this
the prettiest lighthouse ever?
-It's the fireflies!
-[Bob laughs]
I can't wait to add
this photo to my album.
It'll be the best one
in the whole collection.
I call that
a mission accomplished.
-High paw, brother!
-Or as Captain Phil would say,
-high claw!
-Bob: Come on, pupper-oos!
-Back to the bus!
-Whoa.
[buzzing]
[laugh]
Bingo/Rolly: "Music City Mishap!"
-[laugh]
-Bow to the wow!
The city of Nashville is
pup-tastic. Isn't it, Rolly?
-Yep. Pup-tastic kibble here, too.
-Mm-mmm!
Now, that's good cornbread!
Oh! An extra spoon! [laugh]
Hey! Check this out.
Oh, I'm eating barbecue,
sitting in old Nashville
Going to a concert,
ready for a big thrill
Play those spoons, Bob!
-Here's your check, sir.
-Oh, thanks!
[gasp] Just in time!
I gotta get in line
if I only I can buy tickets
to that concert tonight!
One of my favorite bands is playing.
Ramblin' Rhodes
and the So-and-So's!
Bingo, look what I found! Nashville has
some pretty pup-tastic sticks, too!
-[munching]
-[strumming]
-Rolly! That's no stick. It's a...
-[bark]
A guitar?
And a beee-yootiful one at that!
I wonder whose it is.
-Uh, anyone here missing a guitar?
-[disagreeing murmuring]
I'd be so sad if I lost a guitar as nice
as this.
There's gotta be a way to get it
back to whoever lost it.
Alright, we'll keep it in our lost and
found. But it's pretty crowded in there.
It could get broken if
the owner doesn't come soon.
You mean that beee-yootiful guitar
could get ruined?
-It's certainly possible, sir.
-Well, that's not good. [sigh]
I sure hope that guitar
gets back to its owner soon.
Uh, excuse me! [laugh]
Is this the line to see
Ramblin' Rhodes and the So-and-So's?
-Fella, you're in the right place!
-Great!
Maybe this concert will get
my mind off how sad I am
-for whoever lost the guitar I just found.
-A lost guitar? That's not good.
That's exactly what I said.
-Oh.
-[conk]
-Poor Bob.
-He just really wants that guitar's owner
-to have their guitar back.
-So do I.
[howling]
Oh! Rolly! I got it! Let's go on a mission
to return the guitar to its owner!
-Ooh! That's music to my ears!
-[barking]
Both: Let's go!
Hold!
On your bark, get ready, got a lot to do
It's gonna be an awesome adventure
We're super duper
extra overly excited
To be going on a mission,
going on a mission
- Five, four, three, two, one!
-[zap]
Both: Let's go!
To the barbecue restaurant, brother!
Let's get that guitar.
Ba ba ba ba ba ba
We're going on a mission
Ba ba ba ba ba ba
We're going on a mission,
going on a mission
Bob was right.
This is one beee-yootiful guitar.
Yeah. Now, we just gotta find
the person who's missing it.
Taxi! Taxi!
Take us to the Grand Ol' Guitar Hall,
please.
They're having a grand
ol' guitar music show!
There's gonna be so many
guitar players there.
So many guitar players, huh?
-Maybe one of them is missing a guitar.
-Great idea, Bingo.
We're here, Esther.
The Grand Ol' Guitar Hall.
-Guitar heaven.
-Look!
There's some guitar players
headed backstage for the show!
-Good luck, guys!
-Hey!
Maybe one of those guitar players
is missing this guitar.
What are we waiting for? Let's go!
-Rolly: That guy has his guitar.
-Bingo: That lady, too.
Rolly: That man has three!
Well, that's just silly.
-I don't see anybody missing their guitar.
-Buddy: Well, well.
-Bingo and Rolly, as I live and breathe.
-Both: Buddy!
What are you doing
in Nashville?
My human and I
are in the guitar concert later tonight.
Pup-errific! Do you know if anyone here is
missing a guitar? This one to be exact?
Everyone here has their guitars,
but I tell you what.
I know exactly how to figure out
who that guitar belongs to.
Follow me.
Look, Bingo! It's a whole store
full of guitars. Magical.
This place is pup-tastic, but how will it
help us find who the guitar belongs to?
-That's where Capo comes in.
-Capo?
[strum]
Shh, shh... Listen.
[strum echoing]
The sound of those strings.
What a beaut! Safe journey, old friend.
That is Capo.
Buddy, old buddy. I haven't seen you
since that show out west.
Good to see you again, Capo.
I'm helping my human finish
getting these guitars ready to ship.
What are you doing here?
Bingo and Rolly here
could use your help.
If anyone can figure out
who lost this guitar, it's you.
Capo's lived around
guitars a long, long time,
and can tell who any guitar
belongs to just by playing it.
What can I say? I love guitars.
Every guitar that you find
Well, it's one of a kind
Makes a sound like no other
Guitar can
And I can pick out anyone
Yes, I can recognize the tone
Help get it back into
Its rightful owner's hands
- Some play low
-[low playing]
- Some play high
-[high playing]
Some play slowly
Some play rapid fire
-[fast playing]
Some make a sweet, soft, gentle noise
Every guitar in the whole wide
world's got a special voice
Well, I travel the whole world over
And I've tuned up a million strings
Seen a whole bunch of guitar picking
Girls and boys
But, whoa now, in all my travels
I learned this important thing
Every guitar in the whole wide
world's got a special voice
- Some play low
-[low playing]
- Some play high
-[high playing]
Some play slowly
- Some play rapid fire
-[fast playing]
Some make a sweet, soft, gentle noise
Every guitar in the whole wide
world's got a special voice
Every guitar in the whole wide
world's got a special voice
[Buddy laughing]
[song ends]
-Told you we came to the right place.
-May I?
[strum]
-[echoing]
-[all gasp]
Why, I'd know that sound anywhere.
This guitar belongs to none other
than Ramblin' Rhodes.
-Ramblin' Rhodes?
-Of Ramblin' Rhodes and the So-and-So's?
Bob's supposed to see him
at a concert tonight.
If we don't get this guitar to him,
he can't play.
If he doesn't have any guitar to play,
there won't be a concert!
Then you'd better get to getting.
Thanks, Buddy! Thanks, Capo!
I really learned a lot today.
-Let's get this guitar back to its owner.
-You got it, Bingo. Come on, guitar!
Hey, where'd it go?
It just accidentally got shipped
with other guitars!
-[zooming]
-After that truck, Rolly!
Good luck, pups!
They're putting
the guitars into the plane.
Let's check these boxes for the guitar.
-[slam]
-Uh, Bingo? It's too dark.
How shall we know which one is
Ramblin' Rhodes' if we can't see it?
Remember how special
the guitar sounded?
I do. And what a sweet, sweet sound
it was to my puppy ears.
If we check these guitar cases
and strum the guitars inside,
maybe we'll recognize the guitar.
You're right! Strum, Bingo.
Strum like Bob's concert depends on it.
-[strum]
-Both: Nope.
-[strum]
-Both: Nix.
-[strum]
-Nuh-uh.
-[strum]
-Why, I'd know that sound anywhere!
[echoing]
Ramblin' Rhodes' guitar!
You did it!
Now, we just gotta open
this door and get outta here.
[grunting] I need Rolly power!
[inhale, exhale]
Now for some Rolly power!
Ah!
-[bang]
-[engines roaring]
Bingo! We're in the sky, Bingo!
When did we get in the sky, Bingo!?
I don't know,
but there's only one thing to do
to get this guitar back to Ramblin' Rhodes
before the concert.
Collar parachutes at the ready?
And...
[screaming]
Bob: So then, I looked up from
my delicious cornbread,
and there it is.
This beee-yootiful guitar,
and nobody to claim it.
Every time you tell this story,
I can't help but think, that's not good.
Okay! Let's get this guitar back
to Ramblin' Rhodes and fast.
Bingo! Rolly!
How'd you get outta your leash?
I'm the guard for this concert,
and I'm not letting anyone till--
[gasp] Oh, shoe's untied!
Bingo: The door to the concert!
This way!
[clears throat] As I was saying,
nobody gets past me--
Oh, now the other one's loose!
Fellas! Fellas!
Where is he?
Where's Ramblin' Rhodes?
Ramblin' Rhodes!
Bingo! Rolly!
Bob! We found out
who the guitar belongs to!
Ramblin' Rhodes! He really needs it!
-[barking]
-Man: Hey! What's the ruckus?
Oh, I'm sorry.
My pups got this guitar,
and I can't find its owner, and...
Y...
Its owner? That's me.
You're... Ramblin' Rhodes!
Ooh!
[chuckle] That I am.
But I wouldn't be much of
anybody without my guitar.
You mean, I found
Ramblin' Rhodes' guitar?
[laugh] That's amazing!
I lost it today and I didn't know
what I was gonna do without it.
-Thanks for bringing it back.
-[strums]
[echoing]
[gasping]
He did it!
Do you like concerts?
-I love 'em,
but I wasn't able
to get tickets for tonight.
-Maybe I can get you some better seats.
-Bob: Yippity dog!
Hey, y'all! Who's ready to ramble tonight?
-Woo! [laugh]
-[plays spoons]
This was a productive day.
Ramblin' Rhodes' guitar
is back where it belongs,
-and Bob's the happiest guy around.
-Mission accomplished, old buddy.
Rolly: Dig that spoony beat!
Ramblin' Rhodes:
My man, Bob. Play it, Bob!
[crowd cheering]
[theme music playing]
Bark bark bark!
Bark bark bark!
[record scratching]
Bark!
Bark bark bark!
