08x21 - Survival of the Fittest

Post by bunniefuu »

-Just clear as a bell. -Alright, we'll go for a ride in the car.

Shut up. Do not talk to anyone.

Do not call anyone. Forget about your police.

Forget about some white knight coming in here

at the last minute to rescue us.

-No, I haven't seen Mack lately. -Hmm.

As a matter of fact, I haven't seen, um,

Anne lately either.

I was afraid you'd forgotten me.

[laughs] Don't be silly.

I just left your wife

and your old college roommate at a party.

If I were you, I would get back there

before they start swapping.

[theme music]

We've got you, Ben.

The only way out for you and your family

is to assassinate Greg Sumner.

Is he having an affair?

-Stop it. -Oh.

But is this something to do with his gambling?

No, I told you it wasn't.

Are you going to tell me what's going on?

I can't. Not now.

Well, I think you've all lost your minds.

The only thing that would be crazy

is if I didn't try and get my family to safety.

Once you've completed your assignment,

they'll be safe.

Ben, we're not savages.

We're not in the business of harming innocent bystanders.

Look, we're prepared to arrange your escape.

Airline tickets, passport.

Thanks, buddy, but I think I'll arrange

my own airline tickets and passport.

I don't want to meet a b*llet at the end of my flight.

[horse neighing]

Good boy.

Good boy.

You've had me drag the kids around all day.

I've drained my bank account for you

and you won't even tell me why.

And now we drive to God-know's where,

so Ben can talk to an old school friend.

Valene, I'm your mother.

You can tell me what's going on.

I will not do it now, Mom, and not in front of the kids.

We'll talk about this when we get home.

What does that woman want?

One million dollars.

Cash. Small bills.

That's insane.

[Ben] So is murdering Gregory Sumner.

[suspenseful music]

Someone is going to die,

and if you don't stop screwing around with me,

-that someone could be you. -Calm down.

You make mistakes when you get overwrought.

[sighs]

Okay.

Okay, you can have the mil.

But you've got 36 hours

before Sumner closes that deal with Stratadyne.

Better not get on that plane, Ben.

That's midnight. Tomorrow.

Try not to attract attention to yourself.

Or your family.

Solid old Ben.

That's what the world should see.

I could k*ll you right now.

Two, get in there.

[all shouting]

[indistinct chatter]

[Lilimae] Everybody out.

-[Valene] Come on, Bobby. -[Lilimae] Betsy.

Bobby, hold on.

I need some answers.

If I cannot get them from you,

I intend to get them from my Bible.

Go on, kids.

Ben, this is not going to work.

You're going to have to tell her.

Nothing, not one word.

Alright, if the house is bugged, we'll go for a walk.

We could just talk outside.

They could be listening to us right now.

You can hear just as clear as a bell.

-We'll go for a ride in the-- -Shut up!

Do not talk to anyone. Do not call anyone.

Forget about your police. Forget about some white knight

coming in here at the last minute to rescue us.

Nobody's going to write us a happy ending.

Alright.

What's she doing here?

I don't know, Ben. I don't.

[Laura] Oh, gosh.

Okay, guys, would you go in

and lock the door for me, please?

[Laura grunts]

[Ben] Hiya. Been visiting your property?

[sighs] No.

Hi, Laura. What's going on?

Uh, Greg and I are just having a little difference of opinion.

[sighs] He talks, I don't listen.

I talk, he doesn't listen.

Kids, would you please come and help me with this?

Well, what about him? How does he feel about it?

Oh, he's great. I mean, you know, he's a survivor, right?

Here, why don't you take both of these, honey?

Help your mommy.

[sighs] Laura, I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, sweetie.

Yeah, well...

Okay.

I've got to get back to Lotus Point.

[suspenseful music]

Ben, I didn't think about this.

She's going to have a baby.

You can't go through with this.

If I don't, you're as good as dead.

[indistinct chatter]

Ben.

-Thank you. -Invite me to the game tonight.

[all cheering]

So I thought rather than having a band

playing our favorites badly,

we could have a DJ, you know, playing the originals.

Oh, I agree.

That way they won't have to take any breaks

and we'll have continuous music.

Great.

Oh, and I thought it might be a good idea

to have Paige at the door.

Oh, Paige is perfect for the job.

Laura. Hi.

Is Greg coming tonight?

I didn't invite him.

Well, the place looks fabulous.

I think tonight is going to be a wonderful opening.

Oh, so do I.

And I agree with absolutely

everything you've done.

-That's what worries me. -What worries you?

The fact that we agree on everything.

[chuckles] There's got to be something wrong.

[suspenseful music]

[steady beeping]

[phone ringing]

[Jason's voice] Nobody's here right now.

But if you'll leave your message at the beep,

we'll call you right back.

[phone beeping]

If you were here right now, I would hug you and kiss you

and tell you how much I love you.

I would ask you to forgive me

for the shabby way I've treated you these past few months.

I know you find this hard to believe,

but there is a part of me that I loathe

and I do not wish to reproduce.

I had always hoped that the Galveston line

would end with me.

I realize that's unfair to you

and what you want out of life, so.

I hope that this child of ours

is less of me and more of you.

And I hope that you come back to me and help me to save my life.

I never knew how heavy a million dollars in cash could be.

Goodbye.

Good evening, Mrs. Clements.

Is it?

Mama, could you give me a hand in here please?

Use your training, Ben. Just make everything seem--

Get out of here!

[knocking on door] Hey! Oh, excuse me.

Door's open.

-[Ben] Mack. -Yeah, how you doing?

Well, do I get introduced or what?

Yeah, of course.

Uh, Jean Hackney, Mack MacKenzie.

-My neighbor. -How are you?

-Pleasure to meet you. -Yeah, likewise, I'm sure.

Sorry we don't have time to visit.

-Mack, what's going on? -Yeah?

I got a couple of seats to tonight's game

and I came to rescue your husband.

Come on.

[Ben groans]

Mack, I don't think I gonna go tonight.

I got two great seats

and all I want is a ride to the game.

I kinda need...

I mean, I really don't think that Ben should tonight.

Why not?

Val?

Ben, I need you here tonight.

Yeah, listen, if anyone needed a night out at your husband,

come on, will you?

Nice meeting you.

Wish we could spend more time, but we've got to go.

-You understand, don't you? -[Jean] I understand.

It's going to be a great game. See you later, Val. Bye.

-See you later, Ben. -[Ben] Bye.

[dramatic music]

Get out of my house.

[engine starting]

[Jason's voice] Hi, Mom. This is Jason

speaking to you from our spaceship, Survivor.

We're on our way to Mars.

We'll be blasting off in a moment.

Ten, nine, eight,

don't worry about us,

seven, six, five,

we will return safely,

four, three, after we complete our mission,

two, one. We love you.

[Laura] Okay, which one of you guys did this?

[kids laughing]

[Laura chuckles]

[reporter] The American exchange closed up [indistinct].

[indistinct] all issues.

Trading over 5 million shares

closing up three and a half to 49.

[indistinct] confirmed

the profits in their fourth quarter

earnings would exceed...

Hey, Mack and Ben.

Hey, Mack and Ben are on the tube.

You called, sir?

Yeah, Ben and Mack are, are at the basketball game.

I just saw them on television.

Very good, sir.

Well, I don't know how good it is, but they're there.

Or perhaps you should have joined them, sir.

Yeah, I wasn't invited.

[audience cheering]

[dramatic music]

[all cheering]

What's he doing here?

I don't know.

[Greg] Hi, where's your mom?

Lotus Point. She's working on the new club.

Oh, yeah?

Listen, give her this for me, will you, when you see her?

-Sure. What is it? -It's a secret.

-[object rattling] -Sounds like a rattle.

[Greg grunts]

Yo, Benski.

Hey, pal, I pay you for a 24-hour day.

Where are you finding time to go to the basketball game?

-What? -[Greg laughs]

I saw you at the basketball game.

You and Mack, I was watching on the tube

and I saw you in the crowd.

-Oh. -You look great.

The both of you.

You know, Mack looks great, though.

He should be the weatherman on the 11 o'clock news.

I think this special investigator stuff

is sapping his energy.

So what's the occasion? Twins having a birthday or what?

Uh, no, just finally getting around to it.

-What time's your flight? -Midnight.

Look, I'll bring that, uh, research material

out to the ranch before you take off.

[Greg] Oh, you don't have to do that.

You're going to Lotus Point party, aren't you?

Yeah, but, uh, I can get away for a few minutes,

they won't miss me.

Do I really need that research?

I mean, I got a lot to read on the plane.

It's real important to the Stratadyne takeover.

Okay, but have it out there by 9:00.

I don't want to miss my flight.

Come on, Casey!

[instrumental music]

[Gary] Come on, you and Brian are gonna love it at the beach.

[Olivia] I like it here.

Well, this place will always be your home.

-You can come here and visit. -[Olivia sighs]

It's going to be so different after the divorce.

It'll always be different.

It would have been different if you'd stayed here.

Look, don't go looking for problems,

especially now that you're beginning to get

some big ones under control.

I haven't done drugs in weeks.

And you should be very proud of yourself.

But I don't feel any better.

What good is it doing me if I'm not any happier?

-You expect it to be automatic? -Well, I--

Look, getting clean was just the first step, the beginning.

You have to find what makes you happy.

Nobody can do that for you.

So I'm not supposed to ask for help?

You bet, ask for help.

Just don't expect all the answers.

You expect love.

Yeah! [smack lips]

[suspenseful music]

Okay, I went over the guest list.

Everything looks fine.

And I made an extra copy for Paige to have at the door.

Oh, good, thanks.

So, have you added Greg's name?

I thought this was supposed to be a festive occasion.

-That bad, huh? -Mm-hmm.

Well, whatever happens,

I hope it works out the way you want it to.

Well, my only concern is

that there'll be ice cream there tonight.

[laughs] It'll never happen.

This is Abby's baby.

It'll be caviar and crab cakes.

No, no, it's my baby, and I'm shipping in Rocky Road.

I'll throw in the pickles.

[sighs] Look...

I've said it before, and I'm gonna say it again.

Greg Sumner is a fool--

Fool not to appreciate you.

-You got it. -You're right.

I am.

You're so lucky to be married to someone like Mack.

I mean, you don't have to worry.

[laughter]

-[Anne] Hi. -Hi.

[Karen] Hi.

Karen, I am so impressed

with everything you've done here.

Oh, well, thank you.

And the new condo, I just-I just love it.

-It's perfect. -Right off the ninth green.

Yeah, does that mean that people are gonna be walking by or...

No, we'll-- we'll relocate you

when something better is available.

-Don't worry. -Oh, that's alright.

It's-it's really great now that

Mack and I have rearranged the furniture.

-Looks great. -Oh?

We just moved the couch.

And daddy's sending some paintings.

I love the prints that are on the walls,

but I prefer originals, you know, for any length of time.

Oh, well, sure because they're better.

Well, Mack, would you mind stopping by before you leave?

I got three dresses for the party,

but I'd really like to have a man's opinion.

[Mack laughs]

-Well, bye. -Bye.

[sighs]

[Mack sighs]

Oh, you're so cute.

[Mack laughs]

You look nice.

[dramatic music]

[engine revving]

[Mack] That was nice of you to invite Anne to this opening.

[Karen] I didn't.

[Mack] Well, she's planning on coming.

No, I mean, Abby put together the guest list.

Oh. Alright.

If you don't want her to come, you tell me,

and I'll-- you know, I'll just tell her.

No, don't be silly. Anne's welcome.

Here you go.

Thanks.

Karen, if you want me to stop helping her, just say so.

I wouldn't ask you to do that,

even if I did want you to stop helping her, which I don't.

[laughs] Come on, will you?

I know she's a little too, uh...

a little too...

Dependent. And a little neurotic.

Karen, she's not like that at all.

You know, she's much more down-to-earth

when you're not around.

What does that mean?

She's different with me. I think you make her nervous.

What does that mean?

It means maybe you're just too judgmental.

[Ben] I don't know. I kind of trust Jean, you know.

She and I go back a long ways.

I...

I'm so scared.

So am I, but she says that if I'll carry out their orders

to k*ll Sumner, she'll leave you and the kids alone.

Well, I just can't believe that this is...

is really happening to us.

Nor can I, but, uh, what choice do I really have?

After I get there this evening,

I'll make my appearance and then leave.

Then we'll all go together.

To the party, yes.

We'll all go together. Of course we will.

Now, uh, when I'm at the ranch,

you've got to stay at the party and continue to act normally.

-[Valene] Mm-hmm. -[Ben] And when I get back...

[Valene] Mm-hmm.

[Ben] ...we'll go home together, okay?

You're my alibi.

Okay.

Wait just a second here.

-Ah. You look-- -Good.

[suspenseful music]

I love you.

Very much.

I love you, too, dear.

Be downstairs.

I'll be down.

[pop music]

Thank you very much.

Okay, sweetie. Come on, Ben.

Come on. Let's go.

What a good girl. Ooh, what a pretty girl.

That's okay. You can walk, okay?

Come on, you can walk. What a good girl.

Oh, Val, how nice to see you.

So do you. [chuckles]

I hope nobody will be offended if I ask the kids for their ID.

If you don't mind,

but our babysitter canceled at the last minute.

Well, I offered to stay with them,

but Val wouldn't listen to reason.

Oh, Mama, you know that wouldn't be fair.

You were all dressed up to come,

and Karen specifically invited you.

It is not fair to the children, I mean, they're gonna get tired.

That's my only concern, of course.

Hey, nonsense. I love kids at a party.

That's all they do back East.

You have a party, you bring the kids.

We might have to leave early,

you know, to get the kids to bed.

Oh, what a shame.

[Mack] Hey, what do you think of this place, huh?

I've never seen anything so well prepared.

Right down to the last detail. Terrific.

-Hey, hi. -Hi.

Hi, looks like everyone's here, huh?

Even those who weren't invited.

[upbeat music]

Hi, you're Mack's daughter, right?

And you're Laura's husband.

Well, now that we have the pedigrees out of the way,

what's it gonna cost me to get into this deal?

Uh...

It's not gonna cost you anything.

You got relatives in high places.

Oh, lucky guy.

Have you seen Laura?

Uh, yeah, she said she'd be back in a few minutes.

Thanks.

-Well, hello. -Hi.

We weren't expecting you.

Story of my life.

Of course, you're always welcome.

Thank you. Have you seen Laura?

Yeah, she'll be back in a minute.

Can I buy you a beer?

They serve beer on a joint like this?

The world is full of surprises.

Oh, sweeties.

Well, these children should be home in bed.

Mama, please don't.

It's not right. I don't care.

We'll only stay in a little while.

-Just be polite, alright? -It's not right.

Here you go, compliments of the house.

Thank you, Mack.

-Lilimae, you look so pretty. -Oh, thank you, Mack.

-I love his bow tie. -[Lilimae chuckles]

So cute.

This is really messed up, man.

Sumner's supposed to be at his ranch.

-Yeah, don't worry. -You don't worry?

If he's here, they know he's here.

If they know he's here, Jean's gonna be here.

Well, we'll just make the move now instead of later.

-Mack, what are we gonna do? -Well, first you're gonna smile.

-Please. -Yeah.

-[Mack] Then you're gonna dance. -Dance?

Yeah, you're gonna dance toward that exit right over there.

When Lilimae and the kids make their move,

you waltz your wife right out the door.

Wait, I'm gonna leave the kids?

-No. Smile. -Yeah. [chuckles]

Mack, I can't leave the kids.

[Mack] You're not gonna leave the kids.

They know you're not gonna leave without the kids,

so they won't notice when you do.

-Okay. -Okay?

Now you can laugh because I just told a joke.

[all laughing]

That's what it is.

So when you get outside, you get in the caterer's van,

and you wait for me and Lilimae and the kids,

and then we're gone, okay?

So, remember, smile.

-Yes. -Have a good time.

Enjoy yourself, dance.

-Yeah. -Thank you.

Lilimae, I think you're right.

The kids are tired, and they could use some sleep.

Oh, thank heaven someone's finally making sense.

Why don't you go into Karen's office there

and just relax, and maybe they'll conk out.

Okay, okay, here we go, honey bun.

-Okay. -Bye-bye.

-Bye, cuties. -Here we go.

I'm scared. I know-- I--

-I just don't wanna leave. -Just relax.

Mack's got everything in hand.

[Lilimae] We'll have a good little rest.

Oh. [chuckles]

Thank you. [chuckles]

Excuse me.

Well, hello, you two.

Isn't it way past your bedtime?

Relax, she's not gonna do anything in public.

No.

Well, they were just gonna lie down,

if you don't mind.

[laughs] Heavens, no, I don't mind. Why should I mind?

[Valene] Don't you touch them.

Don't you lay a hand on them.

-If anything happens to them-- -You're what?

You're not the only person capable of threatening people.

You're not the only person willing to carry a threat.

[Jean] Do you honestly think that for one minute,

if something happened to me, there wouldn't be somebody else

on your doorstep tomorrow morning

telling Ben to do exactly the same thing

I've told him to do?

I don't care who you send.

Don't you touch my children.

Come on, now, sweetie. Give mommy a kiss night-night.

Now, go with her.

That's good, sweetheart. Go on.

[indistinct]

It's way past their bedtime. They're going to lie down.

[romantic music]

[Anne sighs]

You've been ignoring me.

Mother, you just got here.

I don't want to give them the opportunity to ignore me.

-Well, may I have this dance? -Yeah.

I was afraid you'd forgotten me.

[laughs] Don't be silly,

Rosemary Jones.

What's your name? Mary?

[Anne laughs] Oh, God.

I've got to have a drink.

And you should have dance lessons.

-Yeah, alright. -[Anne laughs]

Working life must be agreeing with you. You look wonderful.

Call me Cinderella.

My car turns into a pumpkin at midnight

and I'll need a ride home.

Well, I'd like to be the one.

-Good evening, sir. -[Peter] Hello.

[chuckles] Yes, I'd love to dance.

[Peter laughs]

The State Senator's too busy to see you tonight, I guess.

Hello, Michael.

Well, don't take it personally.

Happens to everybody sooner or later.

Goodbye, Michael.

Leave Peter Hollister alone, honey.

Politicians can't be trusted.

The voice of experience.

Who can be trusted?

[laughs] That's a tough one.

Mack. Mack can be trusted.

Yeah, we'll trust Mack to stay married.

Ah, hope springs eternal.

Sometimes hope triumphs over experience.

Paige, you are so cynical. What have you been reading?

Oh, my God, is that Greg Sumner?

-Yes. -I knew him.

He was a friend of Mack's.

Well, run along and say hello.

[laughs] I don't enjoy reminiscing about those days.

Well, go on.

He does look good.

-I need more time. -No.

I am not gonna g*n him down here in front of his friends.

What friends?

Look, he wasn't even supposed to be here.

He's not going back to his ranch

before he goes out on that flight tonight.

This is not going according to our plans.

Change your plans.

What if we don't have the opportunity?

Make an opportunity.

I'm not alone here, Ben.

You're bluffing.

Can you afford to call it?

Honey, I'm just very proud of what you've done.

What's wrong with that?

Are you sure it's not just your way

of reminding me I have a problem?

-No. -I'm sorry, it's my fault.

I brought it up.

I'm... sponsoring legislation to combat drug abuse.

And part of the program is to get kids like you

who've made it to talk to kids who haven't.

Olivia, give it a try.

I might.

Thanks, Olivia.

What are you grinning at?

Um, remember today how you told me

that I'm responsible for my happiness?

That I'm responsible for what happens in my life?

-That I have to do something? -I said all that?

-Gotta be sentimental. -You know what I mean.

Yeah, I know.

Well, um, I think I found something to do.

You did? Well, I'll dance to that.

-[Olivia chuckles] -Alright.

[Greg sighs]

So what's a nice guy like you doing

hanging around with a creature like that?

-Who? -Who?

Jean Hackney. Who invited her to the party?

[indistinct]

-Where's Laura? -Damned if I know.

Hope she hasn't found another guy.

I was just getting used to being pushed around.

You still going out on that midnight flight?

Yeah.

Hey.

You don't happen to have those papers with you, do you?

No.

They're at the office.

Oh, well, I'll pick them up on my way to the airport.

Okay, then.

Yeah, I'll meet you there on your way.

Benski, I'm a big boy.

I can find them by myself.

No, no, I don't know. I don't mind.

Oh, good. You stay here at the party.

No, I'll-I'll be there.

I'll meet you there on your way to the airport.

Okay, suit yourself.

[song playing on radio]

I just told Greg that I would meet him at the office.

No. Ben, you can't.

-I love you. -Ben.

I know you, and I know you can't do this.

-You can't. -She has people here and now.

They will k*ll you, they'll k*ll the babies,

and if anybody has to be k*lled,

it's better that it's him, because I don't love him.

-Don't talk like this. -Never forget that I love you.

I love you, too. Please don't do this.

Please don't do it.

You stay with the kids.

-Take care of those children. -Ben--

-Take care of them. -No.

I love you.

[music continues]

No, that's okay. I'm pregnant.

I thought I'd hear from you.

I thought I'd hear from you.

Well, I did call you,

but I got your machine, so I was forced to leave a message.

Well, the kids were fooling around with the machine.

They must have taped over it. What did you say?

I said that I loved you very much.

And that I guess I could live with this child

who has come between us

so long as you don't name him Gregory.

Well, there's no chance of that because it's a girl.

A Filly? Hmm.

-I'm gonna have to get a g*n. -What?

Oh, you know, there's a lot of guys like me

running around this world.

I'm gonna need a g*n to keep them away from her.

She could do a lot worse.

I hope that you can forgive me

for being so cruel to you during all of this.

Well, I'll think about it while you're gone.

I just wish I was going with you.

Well, I'm sure that your doctor would advise you

not to travel so much.

You're no spring chicken you know.

You say the nicest things.

[all applauding]

[Valene] Mr. Sumner.

Mrs. Gibson. Great party, eh?

-Yeah. -[Laura] Hi, Val.

Hi, Laura.

I have to talk to you.

I have...

I just want to congratulate you both on your new baby.

-Well, thank you. -Thanks.

I'm sure it's gonna be a beautiful child.

And we're gonna name it Benski.

[Laura laughs]

What's the matter?

Hey, let's go over there and talk.

Yeah.

[dramatic music]

[door clicks open]

So where's that research material

I couldn't find on my own?

I just left your wife with your old college roommate at a party.

If I were you, I'd get back there

before they start trading stories.

[suspenseful music]

You look like you could use a drink.

-A little hemlock on the rocks? -Don't!

Don't joke.

I don't have a choice. It's you or my family.

I've got to k*ll you or they'll k*ll me

and k*ll my family.

And they'll send someone else to k*ll you anyhow.

Who's they?

Don't worry about who they are.

Just figure a way for us to get out of this

because I don't want to have to k*ll you

and I don't want to die.

But I sure as hell don't want my family to die.

Maybe nobody has to die.

It'd be nice to know who they are here.

What the hell difference does it make?

It has occurred to you, hasn't it, boss,

that there must be somebody out there somewhere

who doesn't like you?

What's not to like?

[Ben wheezing]

If we start talking about that we could both die of old age...

I'd appreciate the opportunity.

[Ben panting]

Then you start figuring out a way for both of us

to get out of this alive.

How much time do we have?

I lied. There's no time.

You can't get on that plane tonight.

Alright.

Alright, you come over here. Here's pen and paper.

You're going to commit suicide.

You're going to leave a suicide note.

My wife is going to have a child.

A girl.

The only thing between you and death is that note.

So if you want, we can dispense with the note.

[upbeat music]

What is it?

Karen, I can't...

I can't, trust me. I just, I can't.

Mm. Hmm. [laughs]

I have a husband and he has a g*n.

[groans] I like a kidder.

-Go find one. -Come on. Dance with me.

And I'll show you what you've been missing.

Go away.

Dance with me and I'll give you $1,000.

Hey.

I want to say something to cheer you up,

but I don't know what's bothering you.

Have you seen Mack?

I-I saw him a little while ago with Paige.

I'm going to go check on mom and the kids.

[Gary] Hi.

Oh. Hi, Gary, Jill.

Hi.

Hi, Gary, Jill.

Well, we got the "hi's" out of the way.

Um, I have an announcement to make.

Actually, we have an announcement to make.

We're getting married.

Oh.

Congratulations. [chuckles]

I'm very, very happy for you.

-Have you set the date? -Uh, no, not yet.

Um, I wanted to tell you myself

before we make the announcement.

Not like this.

I just hope everything...

I mean, I... Excuse me.

[Gary laughs]

[Gary sighs]

Come on. Dance with me.

I promise not to break both your husband's arms.

Get out of my way.

Oh, you'll thank me for this.

[man grunts]

Abby. Have you seen Mack?

-No, I haven't seen Mack lately. -Hmm.

As a matter of fact, I haven't seen, um,

Anne lately either.

[dramatic music]

Shall I be frightened when a madman stares?

What?

Shall I be frightened when a madman stares?

It's a line from Julius Caesar. I played Brutus in college.

He says it to Cassius, you know,

the one with the lean and hungry look.

Shall I be frightened when a madman stares?

That doesn't sound like much of a suicide note to me.

Unfortunately, it's the only cogent thought

I have in my head.

What do you think of Peter's picture?

I don't. Write the note.

It looks crooked to me.

Sit down.

-We can work this out. -Sit.

[Ben panting]

Alright, leave the picture alone.

[Greg] Does this look right to you?

Sit down!

I'm going to stand right here, Ben.

You sh**t me in the back

and then explain that to the police as suicide.

[Ben panting]

[g*nsh*t popping]

[dramatic music]
