It's the biggest piece of self-serving logic I've ever heard.

"I made a mistake. Feel sorry for me because I made a mistake."

-Well, I was the real victim of your lousy decision... -Yes.

-...you know that? -Oh, yes?

-I'm leaving, okay? -You feel sorry for me?

Why don't you feel sorry for me?

The woman who loved you, who trusted you,

who would have done anything for you.

Listen, I am going home, dammit!

Feel sorry for me, the little COED

who couldn't-- who cried herself to sleep every night

for weeks and weeks and weeks because of what you did to her.

-Alright! Just shut up! -I hate you! I hate you!

I hate you! I hate you! No!

No! [whimpering]

[narrator] Next on Knots Landing.

That was Judith.

How is your wife?

This isn't about Val. It's about the kids.

It's all about Val.

You're in for a big surprise because Valene doesn't want Gary anymore.

It's better this way.

For the first time in our lives, let's just be to each other what we really are:

Ex-husband and wife.

I'm very, very happy you came to visit.

Now it's time to go home.
