eventually start my own line.

the particulars of the

Challenge, though, we need to
talk about a few things.

One is andrea.

She left the atlas apartments in
the middle of the night,

Unbeknownst to any of us.

We've reached out to her.

We've not been able to contact
her, but we have every reason to

Believe that she is safe and
sound.

This is a challenging
experience for all of you.

This is a challenging industry.

I've been at this now for
over 30 years.

It's still tough.

When heidi says, "one day
you're in, and one day you're

Out," that is fashion.

The fashion industry is a
shark.

If you can't handle it, then
maybe you shouldn't be in this

Industry, because that's the way
it is.

Fashion is not for sissies.

I think some people think it
is, but it's not.

You may be knocked around a
bit, but you've got to bounce

Back.

So are you ready for the next
challenge?

Well, michael, I'd love for you
to tell the designers about your

Customer.

Well, you know, as you guys
know, a modern woman today is on

The go, and my clients are
always looking for that sort of

Very chic, pulled together but
stylish look...

But at the same time, they
want something that's easy and

Relaxed.

This woman needs to really have
versatility.

She needs to be able to hop on a
plane for a meeting and then go

Right to a c*ck party when
she arrives.

So this is a challenge about
a woman on the go, and for this

Challenge, you will be designing
a look that represents your own

Aesthetic, who you are as a
designer, and you're going to be

Creating a single look that is
stylish and fashionable.

At the same time, it has
versatility, it's practical, and

It's comfortable.

I don't believe we've ever had a
challenge where textiles were

Ever more important than they
are right now.

Would you agree, michael?

Listen, this one, it's got to
last through the entire day.

Yeah, think about wrinkles
and the fact that you don't want

Them.

Whatever you do, it's got to
be your aesthetic.

Exactly.

This is a great opportunity
to show ourselves as a designer.

In a group challenge, my point
of view got lost, so I'm happy

To take a bit more control this

avant-garde, high-fashion kind

Of girl, so I am thinking about,
like, a black and white print

With a black jacket, like
something that is very me.

My girl is somebody who works
in nightlife, travels a lot, so

She needs to be able to move
easily, and she's a people

Person, so she has to look fun
as well.

I wanted to create a look for
a woman who has a lot going on

During the day, so she's
probably running errands in the

Morning, in the office during
the day, and basically,

Something that can take her from
wearing her hair up to down to,

You know, flats to pumps to
basically anything she wants to

Wear.

Sonjia, I love your dress.

I think it is stunning.

I think you manipulated the
fabric in a really interesting

Way.

What I like is that you
didn't make it a black dress.

By doing it in that gray jersey,
you could load on diamonds and

Wear silver shoes, you could
take it all the way down and

Wear a pair of riding boots.

I love the fact that it's
conservative yet sexy, and it

Could work in any part of the
world.

This is definitely one of my
favorites.

It's a beautiful, sleek, sexy,
can-wear-anytime dress.

That little sliver of skin,
that peek-a-boo that you might

Not even see with the first
wear, you see it with the second

Those are the kind of details
that are so rich.

It shows that it comes from

It came to me, the idea of,

On your day off, you're gonna
try to do a lot of things in one

and comfortable, but at the same

I looked at this and I was
kind of taken aback that you

Went so structured.

Right.

I think what I'm disappointed
at--i've seen you.

I mean, I'm looking at what
you're wearing today.

You look amazing.

I think if you do a dress
that is that short, I would

Have made the blazer longer.

love color, and I know part of

The challenge was to, you know,
represent ourselves as

A designer.

The coral on the front, you can
belt it differently.

It can be, like, open.

Uh, you can belt it around the
front or the back.

I left it open at the back.

So, you know, throughout the
day, you could kind of dress it

Up differently, um, to create
either a more glamorous look or

A more relaxed daytime look.

I would have love to see
something up in the shoulders,

Something that pulled it
together, 'cause my shoulders

Are broader, and that way,
it doesn't accentuate them,

It narrows them down.

Yeah.

But I do love the color.

zebra and then the coral on top,
