For her, I kind of want to

I think it has a little bit more

The inspiration for my
collection is combining, like,

The absurd and surreal in a very
modern way, so I was working and

Playing with a lot of different
textures, whether it's

Perforated leather with a color
behind it, just kind of bringing

That surrealness out.

I absolutely loved it.

You really understand how a
girl wants to look, because

You're the girl.

Suddenly, I was in love with the
jacket.

I thought it looked fabulous
without the cuffs.

I loved all of this wrinkled,
gessoed leather.

I think it's super, super cool.

The only thing that strikes me
as strange, as a female

Designer, is that you would send
a girl down the runway in a

Dress that no one could walk in.

Whoopsie.

I literally wanted to nail
her shoes to a skateboard and

Have someone pull her.

Come on, melissa.

I mean...

I think that you have a very
strong collection, and apart

From that one girl, they were
all walking really powerful.

They were kind of like you.

A little bit of a tough chick,
you know?

Which was--i liked it.

Your hair and makeup was
spot-on.

I thought your red dress was

It was nice to end up with a
nice pang.

There is coolness to your
clothes, but at the same time,

I was inspired by x-rays.

I have a scarf here which is
actually an x-ray just blown up.

This is a spine just
reconstructed.

I really liked how dark and
haunting that was.

I styled it, you know, to the
best of my ability.

But I really was proud of it.

When your first look turned
the corner, it really started

With a kaboom, which I love,
'cause that's how a show has to

Start.

Yes.

And I think it's very
interesting that you chose to go

To something that is a little
darker and moodier as your

General theme.

I loved all of the splattered
leather pieces.

You're the only one who really
dealt with print at all.

And...the romantic gown came
out at the end.

I think it's a pretty dress.

I just don't think it belonged
in that show.

I think that you really did work
hard on the styling, and great

To see you do your own prints
that are compelling.

I thought they were great.

With your show, you made a
lot of amazing pieces.

This jacket, it's really cool.

I started out looking at the
heritage of my own country and

The tribal body art that they
usually, uh, do in celebrations.

I started out very graphically,
playing with those lines.

The main thing to me was to make
a collection that was cohesive,

But at the same time very
poetic.

I personally loved, loved,
loved it.

Oh, my god.

you know, everything that we

Saw was very dark, and then, all
of a sudden, your show started,

And it was very ethereal.

Your clothes are very fluid.

It was so fresh.

I thought that long, beautiful,
light coat, super elegant and

It's you.

I think you listened.

Oh, I did.

It looks sophisticated, cool.

There's an easiness to your
clothes.

You do it for yourself very
well, so I loved seeing it

Translated to your model.

To take these jordan almond
pastel colors...

I was like, "oh, god, is he

The minute it started, I said,

"Wow, this yin and yang thing
here is really working."

The way you drape clothes, it
looks effortless.

The first thing that stood out
to me was the colors.

As soon as I saw it, it made me

I always had a very clear
vision who am I and what I am.

The quality of my work is very

I came in with a really

competition, I've really pushed

Myself past my comfort zone so

What was good is that he did
this beautiful print.

I loved the print.

He was the only one who did a
beautiful print.

The only one with a
compelling new print.

I mean, this jacket with all
the pieces, great.

What bothered me the most, I
think he over-thought it.

He made too many things.

It was confusing, a little bit.

I didn't feel like I had
anything that I could attach

Myself to.

Nothing was really consistent.

He was just kind of trying a
lot of different things today.

And it was a little bit all
over the place.

All over the place.

Like, the individual pieces
are nice, but it wasn't really--

A collection.

He should have gone with that
fragility, with that romanticism

That he's so good at.

He's talented, but he's
finding himself.

He makes pretty clothes.

Make pretty clothes.

What did we think about
melissa?

She did a really good job
with the point of view that

She's been showing us all
season.

Mm-hmm.

She understands that girl
'cause she is that girl.

How will she be any different
from what is already out there?

Let's talk about fabio.

You know, everybody was doing
black, everybody was doing goth,

And all of a sudden, he
just went, errh, in the other

Direction, and that's what
fashion is about.

It's that element of surprise.

There wasn't really anything
in fabio's collection where I'm

Like, "oogh."

Everything we've seen on him,
we've loved.

Do what you do on yourself and
do it on the girls.

As a designer, you have to
want to know what people want

Before they know it themselves.

And now I see this layered
look in pastel colors, and I'm

Like, "I want it."

I never thought I would want
something like that, but now I

Want it.

But he's got to do that all
the time.

Let's talk about dmitry.

I expected it to be polished
and perfect.

He was on his game.

He is a perfectionist.

It was modern.

It was good.

Yeah, I mean, there was
nothing old lady there today.

Let's be honest.

I think that he really did work
hard.

When we saw that jacket, you
would rock that jacket, you

Would rock that jacket, and you
would rock that jacket.
