Taking over america.

Spin is the newest wave of

Nightlife, dining, and

Entertainment.

It's owned by susan sarandon.

Spin attracts a celebrity

Clientele.

A lot of a-listers.

Brandon is going to tell you

Why you're here.

Currently, our uniforms are

Lacking, so we're striving to

Change from this.

So, designers, for this

Challenge, you're going to be

Creating new spin server

Uniforms and new spin ball boy

Uniforms.

These uniforms need to be

Fashionable, and they need to

Exude the fun and upbeat

Environment that is spin.

One thing to
keep in mind is

That our slogan is "ba*ls are

Our business."

We would like the ball boy

Uniform to incorporate this

Slogan.

So each team is going to

Create five looks.

You will have three female

Models and two male models.

Ooh.

In and giving our opinion.

For the most part, it's

Positive.

All of us are
really nervous.

We don't want to be in that

Our teammates cut.

There's a 2-inch of the

For this challenge, they

Brought in a
screen printer for

Us to use.

The tonal thing
is beautiful.

Is a uniform, and the front,

It's like an apron, and it has

The pockets, so they can put

With--with a skirt panel?

And then the
vest, I came up

With.

This lapel is
almost like--it's

Like when the ping-pong ball

Fell, it's kind of--goes

Around, kind of fun, and then

The back does the same thing.

Like, when a ball falls, it

Goes--one side's higher, one

Side's lower.

It seems like such a

Stand-alone.

If the only place we see that

Is in--is in the collar, there

Are other opportunities to use

That shape.

The pocket too, like the ball?

Harness, so that way, he can

Just fasten this on the back,

And then it attaches this way

To him, and then it's velcro,

So he can just,
like, literally

Just pull it right
off, and then

Just start picking back up

Again.

The guys are gonna really

Like it.

was very young

And quirky and a little retro,

So immediately I
thought, "okay,

something that kind

Of resembles an
apron, and then

We also talked
to the bartender

And the waitress,
and they said

They want to look sexy 'cause,

Of course, they want tips.

And the vest,
what I came up

With--i got some ping-pong

ba*ls and dropped 'em and

Watched 'em bounce, so if you

See how that's
all curved around

The neckline, it's like the

Ping-pong ba*ls bouncing.

Yeah, the lapel.

It was fun.

I think that
you did a great

Job in being very
practical, and

At the same time,
kind of sexy.

Combining all those things is

Really hard.

Well, I just took a really

Practical approach.

I thought about
a guy in his 20s

Being a waiter.

I didn't want to do a t-shirt,

So I took that whole raglan,

Short-sleeve sweatshirt thing,

And I didn't want
a skinny jean,

So I just dropped the crotch

And, like, made
it tapered, and

Just kind of modernized it a

Little bit, and there you are.

It looks edgy and fun and

Cool.

I can see that it's a little

Futuristic but still a little

Retro.

I love the way that you

Incorporated the logo.

It stands out, and I am crazy

About the pant.

Thank you.

The guys would definitely

Wear that.

When I first came up with the

Idea of "ba*ls
are my business"

As a logo on the back of the

T-shirts, they
weren't so sure.

Oh, really?

So, I mean,
some things that

Are too crazy, I
don't know that

They'd feel really
comfortable,

But this looks, like, totally

Practical, and
at the same time,

It's very strong and sexy.

I like it.

I like the pockets a lot.

I think it's a nice, modern

Construction.

They're on an angle.

Personally, I'm not a fan of

Dropped-crotch pants.

I love the pants.

It's what young guys are

Wearing.

It's cool.

The first thing
we did was we

Spoke with ball boys, and he

Said, "actually,
I do two jobs.

I also help bus tables," and

That was the first thing that

Struck me was,
you know, it's--

You have to
design a spot for

It.

He should have something

Really cool just to put on,

Like, so he can just work and

Pick up stuff.

We were talking
about trying

To get a vacuum thing that

Picked up ba*ls at one point

That was, like,
ghostbusters, so

Without the machine.

So who did which piece?

I was mostly
responsible for

The pants and using the print

As a more decorative way for

The pockets, and
then I think we

Equally worked on the bag, and

Then the shirt was mostly your

Work.

And we decided
to go with the

White on top because, when you

Wear black shirts, a lot of

Times in the club,
it looks like

You have dandruff on your

Shoulders.

I've seen that before.

Yeah, and it's not cool.

It's not.

I think it looks really cool.

I love what you guys did with

The slogan "ba*ls are my

Business," and
I like that it's

Actually on the right places,

Because I have
seen some things

On that runway today where I

Thought "ba*ls
are my business"

Were placed in the wrong spot.

Or on the right spot.

Or on the right spot, yeah.

There's a lot
going on, but it's

Not silly.

If this was the winning look,

I think we were really like--

Freeballing, so I took it to

A kilt, and um, so...

More importantly, my guys

Wouldn't wear a skirt, I can

now, but I think

It's really...ballsy.

I think that
would be asking

A lot of most of them.

And, benjamin, you did

We had this idea of using

Netting.

I really loved your logo.

I wanted to capture
the frenetic

Energy and just create

A textile.

I don't mind that there's a

Tongue-in-cheek
gender bending.

To me, the bigger
issue is that

There's way too
many elements in

This outfit.

You have the frenetic printing

On the shirt on mesh overlay.

You have graphics in an

Inappropriate area.

He's wearing a skirt, and then

There's even another graphic

Element on the back of it.

It's just a lot going on.
