"What if?" As I did, then to

Strip it down like that, I loved

That whole action.

And I loved the impact.

I say load it up for them.

I'm feeling pretty good about

My mini collection.

I'm really excited to see

The black pantsuit and the black

Jacket with the gold blouse.
It's so beautiful.

She is perfect.

The gold dress on that model
is just a wrong fit.

That's the only problem that
I have, because her body type is

Not jiving with my dress.

♪ ♪

But everything else, I'm feeling
really good about.

My show-stopping look is a
two-piece top and skirt with

Black rhinestones and
a black leather jacket.

It's amazing.

It turned out so beautiful
under the lights.

And they just twinkle.

Overall, it's a whole complete
package as a collection.

I think it represents
me as a designer.

I am so proud at how
beautiful they look.

I'm so proud of what I'm showing

On this three-piece collection.

I love my hand-printed eagle
feather modernist dress.

It does speak about how native
americans have always been doing

This in our culture.

My next piece is a cape
and it's done with horsehair,

Creating a lightning storm
pattern going up and down.

And it's really pretty.

It's a fun use of native
american material, but with

A little bit of a
racy edge on it.

My muse katrina is wearing
my showstopper.

It's with the female roach
headdress, and then the

Micaceous big sequins.

I love that piece
because it's a moment.

It's a moment of pride and hard
work and taking that bold step.

accomplishing three strong looks

That represent a real modern
woman who likes to have fun and

Celebrate life.

The three pieces that I'm

Showing, I feel like that shows

My point of view for this
collection.

It just looks so cool, watching

It's something so different,
but so cool.

and tuxedo pants that have the

Stingray going down the legs.

I think I got it spot on.

Then marina comes out.

How could I go wrong?

She looks amazing in this black

Crepe gown.

It has my point of view--

Simple, elegant, but a little
bit of interest with that

Detail of the stingray going
down the back of the dress.

I feel like this collection is
a little bit more outside of my

Box.

It shows how I've expanded
as a designer.

I am so proud of myself because
I finally am here.

I think my collection rocks.

This is one of my favorite
looks, which is a wolf sweater

Over this really silky blouse

And a pair of jeans that have
harness clip-on chaps.

It's really tough, but it also
has a softness because of

The sweater.

One of the most successful
pieces is the crushed silk dress

With a neoprene skirt.

The last look is a black coat
that is just super striking,

Also having my modular clip-on
side bags and messenger

Bag piece.

It is, by far, my
favorite design.

My three looks go
together incredibly well.

They look freakin' cool.

And i-i couldn't be
more excited.

My inspiration was
a lone wolf.

She has lost her pack.
She needs one more k*ll to

Survive--pretty much a metaphor
to this whole process for me.

And I chose these three looks to
show my casual side,

Some of the sweater
knitwear I'm doing,

And something a little fancier.

What techniques did you
incorporate into the collection?

Lots of quilting, lots of
working with leather.

They all have sort of detachable
elements that will help her on

Her hunt.

When I looked at this,

I thought, "there's a lot
going on, and I like it."

Oh, yay.

It is unusual, and I think
that's what project runway is

All about. I like also that
their hair is very disheveled.

I feel like you've created
a universe here.

I think, you know, there is
kooky proportions at play here,

But that's the risk you wanna
take in a fashion show.

I like that it goes casual
to more dressy and the play

With fabrics. And it looks
beautifully made.

And as you disassemble each
pieces, they're very wearable

Too.

It's a very wearable coat,
if you unhook your bag.

Yeah, her saddlebags--

This could also be hooked
onto her.

She's got the hooks as well.

I also think you've thought
about merchandising here.

I can see how this can separate

And become a commercially
viable collection.

I particularly like your pant
underneath this coat.

I wish we could see more of it.

The quilting and the
open knee.

Yes, the quilting, kind of
motocross look.

It's fantastic.

I would get away from having
things that are too tricky.

All these bags look a little

Tricky with this coat.

Or you could have one bag.

Just one and not both.

It's just not three bags.

She has another bag in the back.

The messenger bag.

What's on the sweater?

So what I did is I drew
the pattern of the wolf, and--

wolf pattern.

your looks.

I was inspired from
the nebulae from outer space,

Uh, stingray, 'cause I'm using
stingray throughout

The collection.

This jacket is all stingray.

I have it on the tuxedo pant,
and then the back of the gown

Also too.

And I chose these three looks
because they show a range.

But I've seen this first
dress from you before.

I've seen stingray or galuchat
glued onto the t-strap of a back

Of a gown a bazillion times.

It just doesn't feel that
sophisticated.

That jacket is beautifully
tailored.

This dress is very nicely made.
However, these two girls seem

To have the drama, and then this
third girl kind of didn't get

The memo. So what happened
here in the middle?

I wanted to show the knit,
which is something that

I haven't done before.

So I wanted to show something
I haven't done before.

It might've been a little bit
too casual call that I might've

Made.

I'm worried that I don't see
any color or that I don't see

Any shape.

Michael kors is not here,

So I'm just gonna say it--

I'm underwhelmed.

I always think the last day
we're gonna see you guys before

You show at the tent is like,

"Whoa."

The clothes come around
the corner, and it's one amazing

Surprise after the other.

It's not interesting enough,

I do one of my fabric prints.

My favorite piece here is
the jacket.

I think that is rocking.
That is hot.

That is awesome.

Yeah, the tina turner smurf.

I've never seen it before.

I was intrigued by it.

This outfit though--

Even though it has beauty to it,

I don't really understand it.

This one does not
look exquisite enough.

My next question would be, how
cohesive would your show be?

Are they all so different that
it's gonna be like a circus?

Or are you gonna
wrangle it in somehow?

What brings the diversity

Together?

The use of my material is

What I'm thinking, but, um--

'Cause that's where you have

To be careful, because then it

Can go crazy.

If you have 12 looks and each
look is so different, you can't

Tie it in just by, "oh, I have
horsehair here and there."

Well, welcome to the
wonderful wubbulous world of

Dr. Seuss.

That's what it could look like.

I celebrate your craft.

But when I see this collection,

It's all over the place.

The details that are so special

Are being overshadowed
by so much.

This dress, it is beautiful, but

I'm focusing on the headpiece.

This cape, it looks like they're

Hair swatches.

It's too much.

However, your beautiful--

Can I see the back of--

The detail of that scarf...

-Is so pretty.
-Is absolutely beautiful.

-You have great ideas.
-If only we could just focus

On that and one simple item,

We could appreciate it.

I like the wig.

To me, honestly, the wig makes

The whole look.

There's a lot of
regrouping here.

From the shoes to the
styling, to where you want your

However, on the positive, it

Is always better to have more
than less, because you have

very simple design.

And I wanted to keep a lot of
my simple shapes, but I wanted

To apply different textures
on top of textures.

So I built a loom, and I
hand-sewed all this lace on top

Of the silk and, um,
created this jacket.

And what this is, I hand-beaded
everything on here.

And this as well is just
a simple dress, but these are,

Like, metal flowers with
crystals inside--

A simple neckline that I thought
was kind of fun.

But I showed these three pieces
because they show my range.

Stanley, I think you had
the same problem as daniel.

I think you both didn't have
enough ideas.

It is sophisticated, yes.
It's beautiful.

But where's the wow?
Where's the "oh, my gosh.

-How amazing"?
-There's a lot of wow.

There's more wow to come?

Well, the proportions here
are not a wow.

really date it to me.

I think your looks are
very cohesive.

They look rich, luxe.

There's a lot of texture to your
collection.

What you need to do is maybe
inject a little bit of sexiness

a little bit more modern.

What a great idea.

Neoprene, buckles, belts.

But, you know, some sort of

Crazy styling of layered looks,

But it all came together and
held a unique vision that felt

Very true to the michelle
standing in front of us.

I loved the wolf, the design
that she did.

I think she really evolved in

All the weeks that
she's been here.

Because in the beginning,
I wasn't so sure that she was

Gonna make it this far.

Me neither. She's been a
very impressive breakout.

Yeah. I'm very proud of her.
I know that you were not a huge

Fan of patricia.

And the hair swatches?

I didn't think it

And I have to admit, I'm
a little bit worried too.

But I'd much rather see her show

Than one of the
snooze boys today.

I agree 100%.

And I think you have to jump in
the water to swim.

I think she will be
able to swim.

Well, let's hope, because
you could jump in the water

Daniel--let's talk
about his looks.

His was very disappointing,
coming from him.

-I mean, look number one--

If you get rid of that necklace,

At least you look a little bit
cool and hot.

I like that look.

And then we got the
second look.

I like that he used stingray.

You know, it is an
nteresting material.

You almost have to drill each
hole in through it--

Especially, he put it all
the way down the side of

The pant, which I thought was
a nice detail, but you don't

See it immediately.

And that's a problem too.

When everything is black, it's
very hard to see things shine.

And if you are going to bring
black, then have it be some

Spectacular black.

I agree.

It has to have drama.
It has to have volume.

And he can do drama.

-And he does do glamour, but

He didn't bring it today at all.

I don't know where it is.

I mean, maybe it really
helped him to work in a team.

Now he was working by himself,
and then he ran, maybe, out of

Ideas or "I couldn't do it."

On the other hand, maybe he
listened today.

And maybe he can
actually turn it around.

Let's talk about stanley.

I think his clothing is
impeccably made.

I agree.

His clothing up there was
the best made work we saw.

It had the best textile choices.

The blouse was beautiful.

The little suave
jacket was great.

The proportions and the
styling are way off.

And from what I saw from him
the whole season, I'm really

I don't think he sees

The gold dress
was really scary.

Both: hideous.

She's a beautiful model, and
it made her look wide.
