Each designer is responsible for
an individual look, and

lexus cars as an inspiration

bridal gown made of blinds,

materials that we used, and yet

It looks so cohesive, yet has
that wow factor, and it's pretty

it more of a wow factor than it

The look is like I expected.

It's--for me, it's a disaster.

I definitely regret having
compromised my design ideas so

team and pull this thing off.

My look is poor-fitting, and
it's kind of my aesthetic, and

I wanted to incorporate the
pleats that sue'd normally use

So it can kind of tie everything
in together.

I'm embarrassed and ashamed
that I am a part of this group.

When I hear my garment, I
cringe.

That skirt looks good.

It's noisy.

The idea is there, but I know
that I can do more, and if I had

been in a different position.

We were inspired by the gray
lexus.

That took us into kind of a
futuristic but not too out there

Theme, so we selected place
mats, similar to our fellow

Designers, some drawer liner,
packaging from a shower curtain.

Then we decided to go to the
grocery store.

We found amazing poppy seeds,
some black rice.

Coconut.

Coconut shavings.

Wow.

And where is all of that?

The rice, if you--would you
turn, roberta?

Right there, I used it as little
embroidery stitching, and then--

That's rice?

Yeah, it's black rice.

And then we have poppy seeds
mixed with glitter down here.

This first gown that shaya's
wearing is mine.

It can be quite dangerous, but
it's got that fluidity.

The stripe down the side of the
gown on both sides is meant to

Represent the back of the
stingray.

I mean, the fit of this dress
is insanely good.

I mean, her cleavage looks
phenomenal.

I made this garment.

I just wanted something that was
sleek, geometric, so I used

Liners for drawers because I
just felt like this embodied

Not only the car's grille but
the steering wheel, and then, in

The back, giving more of this
design, 'cause I felt really

Inspired by these tablecloths.

They kind of reminded me again
of just inside of the car.

And, kate, so you did this
look?

Yes, so I did the third look
there at the end.

I always like curves, so that's
what you see in the shoulder

Detail, how it comes up and it
wraps around, and that kind of

Reflects the metal that wraps
around the headlights.

It's gorgeous.

lot of structure here.

I feel the opposite.

I think there's a lot of
haphazard draping.

It feels not very thought out.

She looks like she has a band of
duct tape around her.

Maybe it is duct tape.

Materials that are so--bring
disco to the daytime, that are

So not wearable, I would have
expected a little bit more
