Swim and eat fruit all day.

I want to do that whole "roast pig" thing.

I don't eat any meat or diary products.

It'll be nice to be, like, out of our house.

Hopefully it'll be a bonding experience.

And maybe I'll meet somebody cool.

[ Judd ] no, we're still in america, we're going to hawaii.

[ Phone rings ]

[ Cory ] it's for you, rachel.

[ Mohammed ] rachel...

We have to leave, dude, c'mon !

[ Rachel ] I can't go out there without my clothes on !

[ Mohammed ] you know how long you take to get ready.

[ Car horn ]

This suitcase weighs more than me.

Traveling with seven people can be somewhat aggravating.

[ Rachel ] nobody rushes her like they rush me.

We didn't rush you initially.

We broke you in for a while,

Then we started yelling at you.

[ Car horn ]

[ Judd ] let's go.

[ Pedro ] show of hands here.

Do you think rachel's a brat ?

Oh, oh, there we go !

[ Judd ] too many damn pictures, that was the problem.

Someone said the plane is not going anywhere.

Of course the plane's going somewhere.

That's the idea, that's what planes do.

Room has "suite" written next to it.

Mohammed sees this and says, "oh, I'm in ."

It's not like sitting "shotgun" in a car,

This is a room.

And rachel was doing the same thing.

I think the girls should have this bathroom.

I think it just made sense that me and jo should get the suite.

[ Mohammed ] okay, look, I was the one who compromised

When we first got the house, first together.

I was like, "I'll take a room with puck."

[ Pedro ] oh... No, no, no !

[ Rachel ] it didn't even make sense at all.

You can't blame him for trying, man.

"E" for effort, for sure.

[ Mohammed ] so, it finally got to this point

Where we had to, like, pick a draw.

[ Judd ] room.

[ Laughs ]

[ Rachel ] we ended up in the little room, but it's alright.

Putting rachel and jo together slowed up the works.

He's just too planned out, you know,

And I don't like that.

[ Snickers ]

[ Rachel ] a "luau" is like a hawaiian beach party

With music and dance.

[ Judd ] a "luau" is a big tourist event.

[ Hawaiian music ]

[ Rachel ] it was open bar and great food,

And it was a lot of fun.

[ Blowing conch ]

[ Male announcer ] welcome to the old lahaina luau, ladies and gentlemen.

Now, it's time we take the pig from the underground oven.

[ Judd ] they bury a pig and they dig it up,

And we're gonna eat it ?

That oughta be cool.

[ Cory ] jo's vegan.

She doesn't eat meat or dairy products,

And we knew that the pig being roasted was gonna bother jo.

[ Announcer ] aloha !

[ Crowd ] aloha !

[ Rachel ] it falls apart, the meat's so tender.

[ Judd ] I knew jo was gonna especially enjoy that.

[ Jo ] the stench was just awful for me.

It just looked like a rotting corpse.

[ Announcer ] so how's about a big hand for the cook right here

Working hard for you all day long.

[ Rachel ] you'll die when you try the fish.

It's so good.stop it.

God, I love my food !

[ Jo ] there was a spinach salad there

That they said was totally fine,

And mohammed was sitting next to me,

And he said, "there's pork in that."

[ Pam ] so then jo has to go to the bathroom and vomit.

She said it was a tortured soul,

And she threw up.

[ Hawaiian drumming ]

[ Rachel ] I wanted to surf.

I've surfed before.

I was just worried because I know that the waves are so huge in hawaii.

I'll show you real quick.

We're gonna reach out, gonna paddle, paddle,

Look over my shoulder, see the wave,

Grab the rails, pop right up.

[ Cory ] and they had us lay down on our boards

And pretend like we were paddling.

Basically, that was it.

[ Judd ] I don't know, what the hell do I know about surfing ?

[ Pam ] guys sucked, and the girls rocked.

[ Pedro ] it was fun to just sit there

And watch everybody try to get on the board.

And I had a good time.

I think the trip was perfect for me

Because there was enough time for me to relax

And take care of myself.

And I did a lot of physical things

That I didn't think I was gonna have the energy to do.

And that really felt good.

Wooooo !

[ Pam ] I was really psyched that pedro did the parasailing.

He looked like he loved it.

He felt so good parasailing,

It was almost this kind of guilty pleasure.

[ Mohammed ] it was a weird thing,

Because it actually made me see,

For the first time,

How tight we had all gotten.

And it was like, "wow, this is really like,

"You know, a family,

And we have become friends."

I'm mark.

Mark, I'm judd.

Hey, judd.

[ Cory ] we're going snorkeling and "snuba diving",

And we get to hang out with new people that we meet.

[ Mark ] you guys wanna come onboard ?

[ Man ] sure.

[ Cory ] heck yeah !

[ Rachel ] the catamaran was definitely the highlight of my trip.

[ Judd ] okay, this is gonna be a very long day, I could tell.

[ Laughs ]

[ Rachel ] brian and mike were the "snuba" instructors.

This means "a little bit".

And we might say, "let's go down a little bit."

Or "let's go up a little bit," okay ?

And never do that to a guy, but...

[ Judd ] laughing and laughing and laughing,

And "oh yes, they're just so funny."

[ All laughing ]

[ Rachel ] they were so funny,

And they totally play off of each other, like, perfectly.

Is this your favorite part, mike ?

[ Mike ] this is definitely my favorite part.

Are you kidding me ?

[ Jo ] judd didn't like them at all.

[ Man ] first two, go ahead and get on the ladder.

[ Cory ] "snuba" is, instead of carrying the air on your back

Like you do in scuba diving,

There's a raft up above you,

That's where they keep the air.

[ Jo ] breathing under the water,

That was the best thing of the trip for me.

I really had fun.

[ Rachel ] it was absolutely amazing.

[ Pam ] it was like being in our fish tank at home,

Seeing all these tropical fish.

[ Judd ] just wild.

[ Rachel ] brian and mike, they were so funny.

I think I actually found them most attractive

When they went underwater.

God, that was so good.

What do you do in a wet suit ?

Pee in it and keep yourself warm.

You guys are the sickest instructors we've had

Since we got here.

[ Judd ] it got nauseating.

Judd was jealous.

[ Judd ] they think I'm the sweet, sensitive, diplomatic one.

[ Ship horn ]

[ Rachel ] me and jo and cory and pam met brian and mike out at night.

[ Mike ] do you have any tattoos ?

[ Judd ] mohammed and I were hanging out

With these two women we became friendly with,

Which was a much better idea.

Hey, I want to get my ear pierced and my p*nis.

[ Judd ] just sitting there listening to mike and brian

Just go on and on and work off each other,

Wouldn't have been too much fun and games for this cowboy.

[ Rachel ] me and jo, we're very similar.

She likes to flirt or drink a little bit,

And get a little wild.

It's really cool for me,

Because I don't feel like I'm that weird anymore.

[ Pam ] we're going downhill bike-riding.

[ Jo ] we're gonna go camping.

[ Rachel ] I'd rather sleep in the hotel.

[ Mohammed ] I can deal with the outdoors,

But I realized I'm such a city boy now.

[ Judd ] if it sucks,

It'll be one of the biggest disappointments of my life.

[ Cory ] we were with each other -hours-a-day.

It was intense, and I think that little things

Started getting on our nerves after a while.

[ Judd ] these are the guys who threw bowling ba*ls

Through the walls of my fraternity.

These are the guys who would urinate on toilet seats, I just can tell.

[ Rachel ] you didn't like them much, you were jealous.

Yeah.

You're such a... Brat.

You could actually look at people in the eye

Pedro says one thing, and like,

The whole house has to agree that I'm a brat.

[ Rachel ] I really think that it's a little unfair

That, I mean, I get pointed out for that.

I mean, I think that's ridiculous.

[ Man ] hello, everybody.

My name is bob, "cruiser bob".

[ Mohammed ] "cruiser bob" is the guy

That put on the whole bike tour that we went on.

[ Rachel ] "cruiser bob"...

Cruisin' maui.

I would like to get you in the point of view

Of being a downhill bicyclist

When we begin our road to hana experience.

[ Pedro ] he sort of reminds me of puck.

He was totally out there.

We're gonna ride right along here,

Down into hana.

We're leaving the base at "cruiser bob's",

And going up what is, essentially,

The steepest paved road in the world.

No other road in the world

Rises , feet in less than miles.

[ Mohammed ] he talks continuously.

Definitely when you get these big leaves on the foliage,

You're in a rainforest area.

You could call it a "downhill",

But I call it "a gravity-assisted bicycle adventure."

Alright, we're ready to rock and roll.

Waianapanapa state park was so beautiful.

It really rains in the rainforest a lot.

[ Bob ] staking is elementary, guys.

Ouch.

This is the official rock.

[ Cory ] "cruiser bob" had no hammer to put in the stakes.

[ Bob ] be careful not to trip over the tent stakes.

Guaranteed, you're gonna trip.

[ Pablo ] third time, bob.

This is crazy !

This is the third time he does it.

[ Judd ] he was right, wasn't he ?

Water's coming in through the side window.

[ Cory ] oh, cool, we've got little puddles to sleep on already.

I don't like rain.

I don't like to be wet.

Will you please check the bottom of these two tents ?

[ Bob ] put your stuff in here.

Hey, could you guys listen up ?

[ Pablo ] there was definitely a generation gap.

Sleeping in the van.

[ Judd ] the women in the group seemed to be having the greatest time,

Which, just for some reason, aggravated me more.

[ Cory ] quit your pouting, man.

[ Pam ] yeah, you're pouting.

God, I have wet shoes on my feet,

And it's not that bad.

[ Judd ] could it get worse ?

How humiliating is this ?

Mohammed slept in the van.

I slept with cory and pam,

And, once again, the "high-maintenance twins" got their own tent.

Judd is always blow-drying his hair.

He doesn't even have that much to blow-dry.

I must admit, his hair looked really good this morning, though.

Beauty trick, I guess.

And, honest to god,

I think judd was jealous of those guys.

[ Both giggling ]

[ Jo ] the next day was just incredible.

The sun came out, the sky was clear blue.

Everybody's mood just lifted immediately.

[ Judd ] that's when I started joking,

We should k*ll bob, take the keys,

And take the van and go back to hotel.

I'm gonna go climb on that rock,

If these guys will take me.

Which one ?

That big one, right there.

I'm gonna jump off the top.

[ Judd ] there seemed to be a lot of this gung-h* attitude

Running through the women in our group.

"Let's do this, let's jump off cliffs.

Let's get going, let's suck it up."

Judd, I'll do it if you do it.

The truth is, I got up early this morning

And did this by myself.

But, y'know, I'm not gonna tell them.

Works for me.

[ Jo ] I like doing things like that,

Getting a scare, and overcoming the fear.

[ Pam ] cory was standing out there was and was saying,

"Is this empowering, or is it just really stupid ?"

[ Jo ] and I stood there,

I couldn't do it for a little while.

Throw your slacker butt off the cliff, let's go.

[ Jo ] and I just counted, and I just threw myself off.

[ Rachel ] you guys, we should all do it, too.

Go ahead, rach, I'll see you later.

[ Screaming ]

[ Mohammed ] they're out of their minds, dude.

I swear to god.

There's places we can jump,

But the pool is just as high as this.

Just as high as that ?

Alright, I'll do it.

[ Rachel ] took us off to this like far-off location

Deep in the heart of rainforest.

And then you look,

And there's like a beautiful blue pool of water.

And this beautiful, huge waterfall that falls into it,

And there's just these cliffs.

Let's go jump, right ?

Yeah, let's go jump.

Let's go jump, girls.

C'mon, let's show these guys how it's really done.

Rachel was the only girl

Who hadn't jumped off the rock in the middle of the ocean,

So she was really motivated to turn jump off or something.

I'd already had my fix, and I wanted to do more.

[ Clapping and cheering ]

Next !

[ Rachel ] I got up there and I looked down,

And I was like, "oh god, what am I doing ?"

C'mon, girl, you can do it !

My knees are all weak, and I'm like,

"God, I gotta do it, man,

I'll never have an opportunity like this."

[ All cheering ]

[ Rachel ] and I was just like,

"I got to do it, "I got to do it.

I just gotta get the courage to do it."

[ Judd ] she got a little case of the nerves.

[ Rachel ] and I'm like, "it's empowering, you know.

I'm a woman, hear me roar."

And then, I slipped.

[ Pam ] are you okay ?

[ Pam ] I think she was really... Had a really deep scare.

I think when she said

She really thought she was gonna die,

I think that that was true.

You guys realize like, I didn't even know where,

But I realized that I did it wrong...

Like halfway through.

Yeah, I realized something was wrong.

Because the way that you fell, you grabbed---

Look at that tree, now !

You grabbed that tree,

And it looked like you were gonna scrape

All the way down the rock.

I wanted to do it so bad.

I'm so glad you're okay.

[ Cory ] I know, man !

[ Rachel ] I felt loved.

I mean, after that...

That ride up to "cruiser bob's", where I got railed on.

I'm like, "maybe they do like me."

Who's next ?

[ Cory ] we said bye to "cruiser bob".

[ Pam ] I tried to get away from the "cruiser bob" farewell kiss,

But I didn't avoid it.

I have a totally new respect for those acapulco divers, for sure.

It's just that you were nervous.

[ Rachel ] not the down, it's the out.

It's that you're actually jumping out.

The "down" takes care of itself.

You should concentrate on the "out" next time.

The "down" will happen for sure.

I know, I'm proud of myself.

[ Judd ] we should all try to go out together to dinner tonight.

[ Pam ] oh, god, final night in maui,

Judd wants to have like a big, bonding dinner.

[ Cory ] by the time we went to "benihana's",

Everybody's little personality quirks

Were getting on everybody else's nerves.

[ Pam ] and goes to put a little dollop of butter on,

And cory's like,

"Oh, my gosh, don't put butter on that !"

The butter touched vegetables,

And now the vegetables are tainted.

This was the vegan straw that broke the carnivore's back.

I was just saying that I wish we had a bigger table

That was less intimate.

Sarcasm.

Whoa.

[ Judd ] what I like more than anything else,

Is that we did everything together.

We did things together that was aggravating.

We did things together that was great.

[ Judd ] vacations, you can either rest or go for high adventure.

We did high adventure.

Welcome aboard blue hawaiian helicopter's tour of maui.

[ Rachel ] the helicopter ride was totally rad.

Oh, wow !

[ Cory ] we're together so much, it was really really fun.

I think we kind of got to know each other better,

And did things together that we hadn't done before.

Oh, baby !

[ Judd ] I think things might be a little different

Now that we've become that much closer.

So there's also that kind of--

Casual politeness is sort of out the window now.

There might be a little more aggression here

In the last couple weeks of our journey in san francisco.

On the next real world...

Rachel is very "unconservative".

[ Cory ] rachel and I had a friendship

That, to her, didn't exist anymore.

We don't even talk at all anymore.
