going to be designing
for one of these style personas.

I like to set trends,

and I like to take risks.

So I would love to get
Trendsetter.

but I think I'm gonna pick

my style was that.

going crazy with it.

faux leather jacket

I'm having a little bit
of trouble figuring out

what print
I want to put underneath,

because when I have
such a wide range,

I feel really stuck.

- I have the concept
of Jessica Rabbit,

but I don't want to choose red.
I think that's too obvious.

I want my bombshell
to be sexy and hot,

but at the same time,
very modern, very classic.

Which is better?

- The one that you have
in your hand.

leopard print gown

and a beautiful draped
overcoat.

a simpler silhouette

a really sharp arm
and have it like,

avant-garde,

to me, looks messy.

It looks like
something went awry.

under stitched
and then topstitched.

of Modern Classic,

the sheath dress.

So I came up
with this design.

It's a v-neck,
so there's skin showing,

and I kind of have
a bare back,

But still classic and modern
at the same time.

enough innovation in this?

- I've never seen
a dress like this.

Have you ever seen
a dress like this?

- I've seen relatives.

- So, with the bombshell,
I saw this print

and I thought
it was absolutely

amazing, uh, and it drapes--

- When you hear "bombshell,"
you really wouldn't ideally

think of something
to this caliber--

- That--you're reading
my mind.

with this look?

- I don't know,
honestly, Tim.

I think that, uh--

using the Brother
garment printer.

- I am already in the dumps
because of what I'm making.

I have no time
to think of a logo.

- You will be printing it
onto a T-shirt.

You're going to be wearing
the T-shirt on the runway.

- I actually appreciate this

because it puts a name
with the design on the runway.

- Your models will be
in soon for fitting.

You have until midnight tonight.

- The skirt part of the dress
looks great.

But once I get that collar on,

it is not a good look for her.

and it's actually looking
oversized and dated.

The only fabric--other fabric
I have is this red.

And I got that word because
I have a non-profit

to teach fashion design
to little girls,

and we did this thing where
you find your word purpose,

so my purpose was
to provoke thought.

for my initials, so...

And I thought,

something safe
and something that works.

My biggest concern
at this point is the fact

that the back is
extremely unfinished.

- I love the chances I took.

I think it all pulled together
really nicely.

I have no regrets.

And considering myself
as a trendsetting designer,

I want them to see who I am.

- Kelly, what are you doing
on the runway?

- Yeah.

And I'm not gonna play it safe.

- I can see everything
that's wrong with it.

I see the seam and the hem.

It may not be made well,

but I feel like
I stepped outside the box.

it's just pushing things

that are a bit uncomfortable.

The lapels, they're strong.

The tiers on the skirt,
it's different.

I struggled.

struggle every day

if that's what will come out.

- But fashion's not
always about fitting in.

individual pieces.

And I made this faux leather
look like real leather.

- My style persona
was trendsetter

and I was really excited
to get it because I feel like

my design aesthetic
is very eclectic

and very risk-taking,
so I made this two-piece

little jumpsuit
and I also made the little vest.

I want to be really mod,
high-fashion,

and just really fun.

My brand name is Rack Addik.

It's like a play on words,
it's fun, playful,

like my clothes.

- Ciara, what do you think?

- When I first saw it,
I was like,

"Mm, not really sure."

Looking at her right now,
she did a great job

with putting it all together.

- Well, I hate to disagree
with the judges,

but I really don't like
this look at all.

I hate the styling.
I understand you want

to be cool and modern,

but this looks
a little clownish.

- If you're gonna do
street wear,

there has to be
some innovation in it.

- I actually do like
the pattern mixing.

However, the overall look
is a little bit junior

for our members,
but good attempt.

- I chose trendsetter.

Wanted it to be
fashion-forward and edgy,

but not too much.

It's my surname.

My theme is to celebrate women
with strength.

I thought there was
some nice detailing

in the back
with the studs on it.

I actually, overall,
really liked this today.

It's creative.
It looks very well ex*cuted.

The second tier
on the skirt is not

in the most flattering place,
but overall,

this looks like one of the most
fashion-forward looks.

- I like this too.
There's something edgy

and cool about this skirt,

Should you be able to resolve
this clunkiness

of the double-scarf,
I think it could be

actually nice.

- I like when you guys
create something new.

When you come up
with a silhouette

that we really
have not seen before,

and that's what you've done.

However, the striped
scarf thing is really hard

to understand,

I just wanted

You know, it's either
you like me

or you like--
I'm too much to handle.

I'm taking it on concept base,
not on the final finish.

The white cotton
and the play does

have a romance to it.

we have seen many times
and we have seen it done better.

This is a very difficult
dress to sell online.

If everything was really there,

And so I kind of wanted
to do my own twist

on those basics
and just make it fun and funky.

I specialize

My goal is to go
against the grain

in the plus-sized industry.

- Ashley, in my eyes,
you're back on top again

- In my eyes, yes.
I really like this look.

- And I love the three pieces

That jacket looks like
it just came

right out of the store.

I automatically think
about the woman

who does not necessarily
seek attention,

but there's just something
about her.

But with that confidence,

and just being stylish.

My label is my name
which is also my father's name

and that's my signature brand
and I'm just really looking

to expand that brand.

- Well, Edmond,
it looks polished.

It's a fitted red dress.

However, this is
already out there

in a million variations.

- This was a miss today.

You ticked off so many boxes
for the bombshell.

It's probably easy
to reproduce

and so many girls
would look really good

It will fit many sizes.

It's got sexiness,
but it's got some detail.

The problem with this look
is in the styling

of your girl.
It just feels very predictable.

that I think every girl wants.

I'm gonna feel sexy in it.

So I wanted to create a piece
that would transition well

because you do do that

I like to play with

What I really wanted to do
was take a print

which was strong.

I had to put
something sculptured

because that's who I am,

which is where the cover-up
came in.

My label represents, ideally,

someone who's modern
and elegant.

What exactly is on the back?

- It's a drape
that I tried to create.

- Why does she need
a cover at all?

- I like to do sculptures.
- Can we take the back off?

Looks like a butt-flap to me.

- And that's where you
really lost me.

- I got the wrong kind
of a zipper.

- I don't mind this dress.

I wish it did not
have the back-flap.

have that organza piece

that looks really matronly.

You just need to pare it down.

Again, the organza
next to the leopard
