05x15 - What's the Big Idea?

Post by bunniefuu »

Why, yes, I will have
more potatoes!

[ Cow moos ]

Mr. Gus: Aw, yes!

Nothing like a cold root beer
in the middle of the day.

[ Grunts ]

Oh, yeah, son!

All the kids
around the world

have been helped,
and it's barely 2 P. M.!

Wow!

We got almost the whole day
to do anything we please!

Oh!
I've got an idea.

We can try to win
an award for drinking

the most root beer
in a day, and then

use the award money
to help fellow man.

Or we can sit back all day
and drink our root beer

to the relaxing sounds
of Stravinsky.

Or we could invite
some friends over

to sit in a hot tub
full of root beer with us!

That last one ain't bad,
little cheese.

Only person I know who can top
these ideas is Uncle Grandpa.

What do you say,
Uncle Grandpa?

Got any ideas for the day
root beer related or otherwise?

Yeah, Uncle G, what great
ideas do you got cooking

in that crazy brain today?

Uh...
[ Fart noise ]

Sorry, guys,
I got nothing.

You feeling okay,
Uncle Grandpa?

Yeah, you usually love
coming up with the ideas.

I feel fine.

But for some reason,
I can't have a good idea.

I can't have a bad idea.
I can't have any idea!

Why is that, Uncle G?

I have no idea.

[ Sobbing ]

Man, it's kind of hard to get
excited about our ideas

seeing as Uncle Grandpa is in
an idea funk of some sort.

Yeah, this is the same guy
who had the genius idea

to open an Uncle Grandpa Land
theme park on a whim.

And the same guy
who brilliantly hired

a 24 hour clown service
for our entertainment.

[ Slide whistle toots ]

Not right now, Swirly.
[ Sobbing continues ]

We got to inspire Uncle G
to have ideas again.

[ Sobbing ]

It may not be as enjoyable
as a root beer filled hot tub,

but it's
the right thing to do.

[ Sobbing ]

Okay. We got our work
cut out for us.

We need to inspire
Uncle Grandpa to have an idea.

He's going to need
a strong example.

What better example
than Pizza Steve?!

Watch, Uncle G!

Why don't people eat
cheesy poofs with chopsticks?

You'll never deal with
cheesy fingers again!

Why not make election day
a national holiday,

thereby getting
higher voter turnout?

Uh...

Come on, Uncle Grandpa!

What if...

What if, uh...

What if...

[ Chicken squawks ]

Aw, pickle juice!

What now?

Relaxation always
gets my ideas flowing.

Perhaps you just need
a massage, Uncle Grandpa

a brain massage.

Here.

[ Squeaking ]

Hey!
This feels kind of nice!

Any ideas yet?

Nope.

Okay, step aside,
Mr. Gus.

[ Grunts ]
Aah!

Are you ready to relax?

Uh...

I said, "Are you ready
to relax?!"

Let's have an idea!

[ Groaning ]

Feeling the ideas yet?

[ Groans ]
I'm feeling something.

How about
a deep tissue massage?

[ Grunting ]

For some deep thoughts!

[ Grunting ]

Mamma mia!

How about now?
Let's hear an idea.

Uh...

Hey!

Tiny Miracle,

why are you putting up
Christmas lights?!

It's summer!

Did somebody say
"Christmas miracle?"

What the heck is
with all this stuff?

And why do you have my
chili cooker?

We're going to use
a shaman's approach

to summon an idea
from Uncle G

by making
an enlightened elixir!

And, the chili cooker

is 'cause I couldn't
find the cauldron.

Something gives me
a bad feeling about this.

[ Squawks ]

Okay, we got one 60 watt
light bulb,

one tablespoon of
Ginkgo leaves,

one tablespoon,

a collection of Mr. Gus'
rare philosophy journals.

Hey!

One can of hamster milk,
one square root.

[ Squawks ]

One ceremonial
chicken feather,

and the antlers
of a small elk mouse.

Just got to crank
the heat up a bit.

[ Squawks ]

All right, Uncle G.

Just take a swig of this
and let the ideas flow!

Okay.

Hey!

I'm actually starting
to feel something.

I think it might be working!

I think...

[ Rumbles ]
Uh oh.

Well, so much
for that idea.

Must've been those
Ginkgo leaves.

Hey, hurry up
in there!

Yeah, Uncle Grandpa
really has to go!

[ Roars ]

Dude, I totally give up.

Yeah, I'm totally
out of ideas

to get Uncle Grandpa
to have ideas.

I got just one last bulb.

[ Grunts ]

I know, we could buy an idea!

Buy an idea?
You know that's not something

you can just pick up
at your local Mart mart.

True.

Hmm...

What about that guy...

uh, Sketchy Stanley?

He sells everything!

I don't know,
Pizza Steve.

He seems like trouble.

Well, do you have
a better idea?

[ Sighs ]

Fine.
Let's go.

Hey, ha, Sketchy Stanley!

Just Stanley.

Anything in particular
you're looking for?

I got watches.

Or maybe some cans
of hamster milk, hmm?

Or some bootleg DVDs?

By the way,
the first pun is free,

any other puns will cost you.
Any questions?

Why do they call you
Sketchy Stanley?

That'll be five bucks.
We were hoping that...

you had some ideas.

Yeah, I got plenty.

Listen, we don't want anything
too philosophical or scientific.

We on a budget.

Hmm...
How about an artistic one?

No abstract ideas.

Eh, okay, okay, okay.

How about this?

Oh, a rough idea.

No, thanks.

Ugh.
I got one of these...

[ Angelic choir sings ]
Hey, hey!

What's the bright idea?!
Put that away!

You want us to get
caught over here?

Come to think of it,
I got this one on sale.

A foggy idea.
We'll take it!

Thank you, Stanley.

And 20 bucks
for the puns.

You're k*lling me, Stan.

Let's test it out.
[ Ding! ]

What if we had
a 24 hour clown service?

Hey!
Wait a second!

Uncle Grandpa,
didn't you have this idea?

These are stolen!
Uncle Grandpa was robbed!

Where's he going?!

Um, no, no, no.
Um, nowhere!

Oh, no!
He stole our ideas, too!

Get him!

[ Ding! ]
Aha!

Flush him out!

Where'd he go?

Beats me.
How do we find him?

Um...

I don't know.

[ Groans ]
This is all my fault!

[ Sobs ]
I'm sorry, guys!

Now you don't have
any bulbs, either.

But, Uncle Grandpa, we

No, Mr. Gus.
It's true.

We're back
where we started.

Uncle G,
you're scaring me, bro.

This whole episode
me trying to get inspired,

you guys helping out
it was all a bad idea.

No, don't look up.
Don't look up!

Oh, an idea.

[ Ding! ]

Whoa!
What a great idea!

What is it,
Uncle Grandpa?

We should end
this episode.

Hey!

How about a little privacy?!

Time to make some delicious,
golden brown toast!

And you'd better not burn it
again, Mr. Toaster...

Nobody likes burnt toast!

Now, down you go!

So what's been new with you,
Belly Bag?

Oh, nice of you to ask!

It's been a while since anyone's
shown me any attention.

What is taking
this toast so long?!

What the hooey?!
Where'd my toast go?!

I knew this toaster was no good!

Here I come!

Wait for me!

[ Grunts ]

[ Tires screech ]

Belly Bag, what's
the "Earth's Core?"

I'm pretty sure we're headed
to the center of the Earth.

Ah, I got to catch my toast
before it burns!

Uh oh!
Things are heating up!

Slow down, will you!

Mr. Earth's Core, sir,
I found another slice

of bread near
your lava moat, sir.

Hmm, give it here.

That's like
the fourth one this week!

Guess I'd better
incinerate it.

Wait!
Could I have that bread back

just toasted slightly
golden brown?

Why shouldn't I just
watch it burn?

Uh...because you have
core values?

Mr. Gus, Mr. Gus!
I got you your favorite!

Some delicious
golden brown toast!

Oh, no, thanks,
Uncle Grandpa.

I don't care much
for sourdough bread.

Sick burn.

[ Upbeat music plays ]

That was quite delicious.
