ZACH: Fitz and I

are definitely having some problems because

I want to be manager and she can't handle that.

Zach, you're not going to be manager

'cause I don't want to do anything else. That's what I want to do.

The majority of us have agreed that Zach would be fit

for a management position.

I want to see everybody vote "yes," though,

before we move on.

All in favor?

Okay, it's done.

Captioning sponsored by MTV TELEVISION NETWORKS

This is the true story...

Gorgeous, man.

Of seven strangers...[laughter]

Picked to live in a house...

Work together and have their lives taped...

Whoa!

To find out what happens...[gasping]

When people stop being polite...

And start getting real.

ALL: The Real World: Key West.

I wrote up

as, like, high goals for manager,

how I wanted to create

the right environment for us in the office.

Number one goal that we're already struggling with.

You know, I feel bad for her.

It shows the character of someone like Jose

who's willing to step up

and shows her character. I feel bad for her.

The... you, this is awesome.

I want my position, me as manager,

I want to be the best.

And I want everyone to go, "Wow,

Zach is the best choice to be manager."

It's not just an alternate choice to Fitz.

Fitz, you said

that you were going to contact people about the awnings.

I can just tell you what to do if you want.

But you do have...

Why would you tell him what to do?

Why wouldn't you just do it?

Because I have other things to do.

Then you don't have time to tell him what to do.

I'm in charge of the budget. I have to do the budget.

If I'm going to sit and do my job,

whatever my job is, financial chief whatever...

fine, I'll sit there and crunch numbers all day.

See where we can put our steel drummer, dude.

Okay, so before opening, we need to know

if outside of our storefront, if there could be music.

You need music. You can't have an event

with young people without music.

I know, I want them to be outside.

They can't stand on the sidewalk.

We are going to figure it out.

How do you know the answer to that question?

If some homeless man can play guitar

in front of a store, then I feel that...

Those are two different areas.

You're in an art district.I know.

Okay, well, you know, you have to ask your neighbors as well.

I know, exactly. You're exactly right.

And so, we're going to ask our neighbors as well.

Svetlana is acting like she is the goddess

and that she knows everything.

And I'm getting really, really aggravated by her.

You got the alarm guy. You talked to the plumbing.

We've already got electrical.

Uh, you got Jimmy here from Mystic Tan.

So he's going to install your equipment.

You've done the furniture shopping list already.

Who's in charge of it? Let's go with that.

Who's in charge of the furniture shopping list?

Oh... uh... It wasn't me, but...

But we need to get that done.

'Cause I'm just curious

on how much we're going to spend on all of this.

Yeah.Okay?

We should have a rack of products here.

Personally, I think that that's a waste of space

for putting out products.

I think that's an ideal spot for our products.

What about this? What about right here?

This could be products over here.

So who's going to be in charge of agreeing? I'm not.

It's my decision to say yes or no.

If we want to talk about it, we should talk about it.

No, you're in charge.I realize that.

I'm not going to say he's bad. He's just not a very...

good manager.

I have to go to the bank now.

Bank for you or bank for the business?

Personal bank? Business.

ZACH: Fitz and I

are definitely having some problems because

we can't converse at a business level.

Does anybody else want to go over

what we're getting from Pier ?

JOHN: We're going to Pier to furnish our business.

And I want absolutely no part of this deal because I know

what kind of fiasco it's going to turn into.

Good afternoon.

Oh, this smells so good.

I just want to pull these chairs out, too.

I thought we set chairs for the counter.

No, I meant...You want to stand?

They see the chairs in here, too?

So we've gone to wicker. Yeah.

We can't even decide on wicker versus leather,

dark wicker versus light wicker.

We are unable to make decisions on anything.

Also we get...[glass breaks]

Our Pier shopping trip is about as smooth as a C-section.

[glass breaking]

Ricky gets fed up with our antics pretty quickly.

Okay, don't take this wrong, anybody, okay?

But let's just delegate some tasks maybe, like rugs.

Paula, do rugs. You want to do rugs?

Yes, I want to do rugs.Okay.

Janelle, do you mind being in charge of curtains?

Okay.Would you do that?

Zach and I, I guess, could take care of accessories.Perfect.

So are we pretty much agreeing that our accent color is green?

Green.. That is a very good green.

Is this too green?

No.

Zach and I bounce ideas

off of each other and it's fun.

Interior designisfun.

Now, Zach... What's up?

This may be a little crazy.

Tell me, tell me.

I'm thinking...

Here he goes again.

...candelabra.

You know, instead of the candle.

Product. Oh, God.

...that's scary.

Even though it took us

four hours, we were all able to finally

get the job done.

Oh, how fun.

Don't anyone even touch or say anything.

These are my leaves.

They're my sad leaves.

JANELLE: We're starting to put in the accessories from Pier

and the furniture from Pier ,

and it's starting to look really good.

Bye, guys.

Now you guys for sure have a curtain for me for the store?

Yes.

I think I got a brown one.

Okay, good. That'll work.

They did a good job. It looks pretty good.

The colors, it looks real good, actually.

Very good.

When we first walked into the building,

it was completely bare.

And to see it today

and all the progress we've done in a week's time,

is very exciting.

I'll be honest.

I'm a little impressed with myself today.

[car horn blows]

ZACH: Wait, where are you going?

All right, fine, then I just won't make the "coming soon" sign.

Make the "coming soon" sign.

That's probably more important than the craft store.

She is just basically

completely pissed off

that he's manager and she's not, dude.

Still? Oh, still.

You should... you didn't see today?

She was like, "You know what, Zach?

"Why don't you start asking

and stop telling me what to do?"

Zach is, like, the least...

The least abrasive person

when he gives orders.Completely.

Zach and Fitz have one of the closest relationships here.

I think she's definitely ruining it by acting like this.

ZACH: Today I walked around town,

and you know what I realized?

I realized that...

this is an amazing opportunity.

And I'm not going to let

my frustration over one person get to me.

And...

I want to tell Fitz that, you know?

If we get you guys to somehow just sit and talk,

do you honestly think that solves

the disagreement between the two of you?

That she's really going to stop

and be like, "Okay, wait a minute.

We talked about this. Let me ... before I flip out"?

[groans]

It kills me that it has to be her way or the highway.

And it's not fair. It's not fun. It's not effective.

Yeah, well, I feel like I need to say something to her.

I want to talk to you a sec. No. No!

Yes.

No, I don't want to talk to you.

I have to tell you something.

Listen to what John said.

You just have to deal with me because I am what I am.

ZACH: Whoa, who was eavesdropping on shower talk?

Who was talking louder than life?

ZACH: Whatever. Fitz, just shut up.

No, you shut up.

ZACH: We have such horrible communication

and I blame myself for that.

Right now, in the work environment,

we're breaking down a little bit.

We need to communicate better.

All of us.Impossible.

Well, I don't agree with that.

My job as manager is to make sure we're all on the same page.

I feel that whenever someone wants

to offer you constructive criticism...

Nobody yet has offered me constructive criticism.

I feel like you take it

so much more personally than you should.

Somebody in this house has yet to do that.

When it comes to business,

I've found myself to be very successful

and I don't want to change.
