Hurricane Wilma is forcing us to leave
for the second time in two months.

Rita missed Key West with all its force,
and we were lucky on that.
This hurricane is not Rita.
This is already a very big deal.

a hurricane's going to come.

It's such a small area.
TYLER: The history of hurricanes in Key West is,
basically anything over a category three
will decimate the entire island.
And if it's as bad as they're projecting,
could be a number of weeks
before we'd be able to come back.
This is my personal nightmare.
Another road trip with the seven of us.
I cannot believe we're doing this again.

that when Svetlana's gone,
Paula's a really fun, great person,
but when Svetlana's around Paula,
she kind of pollutes her.
JANELLE: Sometimes, when you guys click together, we don't really
get to see you, or we don't really get to see Paula
and, like, what Paula's about or what Fitz is about.
Janelle assumes that I make Paula sicker,
or I make Paula feel comfortable with her problems.
If she's just trying
to push me away from Paula, then that's not gonna work,
'cause I think Paula's smarter than that.
JANELLE: I call a bed!

ZACH: In Fort Lauderdale,
we're in a hotel that will probably not lose power,
that I'm sure will be
safer than if we were in Key West.

I have dealt with this more than anyone in this house,
and I'm going to tell you right now,
the wrong approach is approaching
anytime she's psychotic, dude.
The way to make it better
is being the bigger person,
which I know you are, dude.
You truly are, man.
The best approach you could take
is ignore it.
TYLER: What bothers me is
I've been so helpful with her,
because I've been through therapy in my past
because of other issues that I don't
feel like talking about, but...
Paula and her eating disorder really hits close to home
because I've suffered
from a couple eating disorders in my life.
And when I see
the way she handles it, and the way she freaks out,
it kind of takes me back to a painful place in my past.
I been to a counselor when I was in high school,
and the fact that I been, like, really cool with her
and helpful.And she turned on you.
And she turned on me like that.
JOHN: That's how she is.
Honestly, she needs help, dude.
Do you hear what's going on upstairs?

When people start childish name-calling--
which always happens between seven of us, for some reason--
everyone starts calling everyone's insecurities out;
that's the first thing people say, dude.

Everyone here loves you,
and when you're with Fitz again,

not part of the group anymore.
When you guys get together and you, like,
latch onto each other, it's just hard, dude,
it really is.
Well, we make each other laugh.
We make each other feel okay about being ourselves.
And that's awesome, but I feel like you guys--
especially her--
feeds in to insecurities that you might have.
PAULA: Svetlana and I are crutches for each other.
When things get tough, we're like, screw them,
we'll go off and be by ourselves.
Which avoids a lot of drama,
but, I mean, it's still avoidance.
I love the fact you guys are friends,
but you guys need to spend more time apart.
PAULA: Johnny just knows the perfect thing to say to me.
He's just like, "We just want you around us."
I think he has a really big heart,
and he's a great friend.
[wind howling ]

TYLER: I've been through a lot
that she's experiencing, so I kind of connect with her;
but I don't understand the way she's treating other people.
Well, and you know, I apologize for saying
that you were crazy,
but I just thought that you would...
I don't know, our friendship meant a little more
and you wouldn't come at me like that.
PAULA: When I don't vocalize what I'm feeling,
it'll come out at the exact wrong time.
And I am sorry, and I don't mean
to attack people when I get drunk.
I just hate living in this house
where everybody says one thing
and then says another to everybody else.
There has to be forgiveness in this house. No.

SVETLANA: Well, I'm free for the rest of the day.

REPORTER [on TV]: ...evacuation in all the mobile homes,
and if you feel that you're not safe
in the structure you're staying in...
ZACH: I am watching and reading
about the impending storm and Hurricane Wilma,
I want to track the storm, and I want to see what it's doing.
REPORTER [on TV]: You must stay inside.
[wind whistling]
[banging on door]
MAN: Get downstairs right now!
Get down right now!
ZACH: I'm waking up to the sounds of thumping on the roof.
Security officer's freaking out, yelling
"Get downstairs right now!"
"Get out of here right now!"
[wind howling; crashing]
Get going!
PAULA: We're going.
Seriously. Get going hard core.
You guys, we're not packing right now.
PAULA: No! I can't find my shoes!
SVETLANA: Borrow some of mine.
ZACH: You guys are not brushing your teeth.
Seriously-- take it downstairs with you.
The guy said get off the top floor.
PAULA: He said, get out of here.
Get off the two floors,
get out as fast as possible.
ZACH: No idea what's going on.
We opened the door, and the entire wall
on the th floor has collapsed in.

The whole floor has got to be out.

SVETLANA: People are screaming outside,
and the wall got blown in.
Everybody's yelling at us to get downstairs.
The hotel is falling apart.
[metal crashing]

[all shouting ]

MAN: Go all the way down to the end.
Guys, don't walk in the water 'cause there's a power outage.

SVETLANA: I have no idea what's going on.
Zach's, like, "Don't go in the water,
or you can get electrocuted," and, he, like, freaks me out.
JOHN: We have to go down flights of stairs, and
the lower we get, the worse it's getting.
This is no longer a joke.
It's really serious.
Finally we get down to the bottom floor,
and the lobby is just completely destroyed.
It took the room to cave in
for us to come down here, by the way.
JOHN: All these strangers--
we're all staying in a hotel together now--
are all cramped up in one big room.
[wind howling]
[thudding]
You are so sweet.
PAULA: I finally see Keith.
He is exactly what I remembered.
He's prettier than I remember,
and I get to see his beautiful blue eyes.
[Keith mumbles]

PAULA: It feels so good to be hugged by somebody that loves you.
To just have him around me, oh,
it's perfect.
I'm glad I came down here at least.
It's just the nicest thing in the whole world
to, like, see him after all this time.

ZACH: It is so
ironic and bizarre that Keith and Paula are meeting each other
for the first time in months
in basically a hurricane shelter.

JOHN: Now we are gonna be leaving Fort Lauderdale
to evacuate once again.
Um, this time we're going up further north to Orlando.
Well, I'm going to Disney World. I don't know about you guys.
