nobody's going anywhere.

For 12 hours,

because you're in the annual
Community Center Overnight Lock-In!

Miss Sue, what's a lock-in?

It's like a big sleepover,

but in a community center
with no parents,

and all the doors
are padlocked!

So, have fun.

We're just locked in
the gym all night?

With no adult supervision?

[all cheering]

[laughing]

Chug, chug, chug!

Everybody, shut up!

It's eight o'clock
and I'm trying to sleep!

Aah!

Ah, this is gonna be great.

Just us kids, all night long.

Ah... Nothing like time spent
in confinement

with familiar faces.

However, I see one
that is not so familiar.

- [♪ rock music riff]
- [Cricket] Ooh, new kid.

His name's Jagger.
I heard he's in a band.

I heard he got rich doing

I heawd he's a wicensed
fighter piwot.

Hmm. Impressive resume.

at this center myself,

Lock-ins are powerful things.

I mean,
what with the lack of sleep

- and loads of sugary snacks...

It's easy to lose yourself
in all the excitement.

Which is why I have
just the solution.

little body didn't.

we were believin' about

ourselves weren't true!

who wasn't even cool
after all.

A journey of self-discovery
was had by all.

Afraid not.

Although it has always been
a dream of mine

to visit Big City.

That's where
excitement lives.

I've never been.

In fact, I've never left
Smalton before.

Leaving Smalton is
an intimidating proposition.

So I content myself with
watching trains come and go.

[trains rattling,
bells ringing]

Admittedly, it's more soothing
than exciting.

Man, that is the most pathetic
thing, no offense,

I have ever heard.

Why don't you come with us
to Big City?

Indeed. Cricket and I would
love to show you around.

[gasps] Really?

Why, I'm so happy,

I can scarcely breathe.

- [exhales]

your ice cubes went bad.

Actually, Trey,
they're quite the opposite.

I made these cubes
out of Splish,

so my soda stays extra cold
without getting watered down.

Oh! They ought to give you
that Nobel Prize

- [motorcycle revs down]

Hey, Trey. Oh, Dad!

I got a ton of farm work
to catch up on,

so it'd be a huge help

if you could handle

a dollop of mayonnaise,

and just a dash of salt.

is so disgusting,

and we have delivered.

- [cameras flashing]

[overwhelming city noises]

[photographer distorted, echoing]

[hyperventilating]

[in normal voice] Lighten up.

[yelling]

Hey, you got to pay for these!

We may have overstimulated
his sheltered brain.

[both] Wayne, wait!

- [panting, yelling]

- Signs for sale.
- Aah!

[♪ smooth jazz playing]

[yelping]

- Aah!
- [tires screeching]

So, you think that was
a happy squeal or...

Wayne's freaking out!

[grunts]

[Nick] And there.

[sniffs] Mmm.

This stew you're cooking
for yourself

smells so much better
than that

foulness you're gonna
have Nancy eat.

And them herbs is making
my mouth water.

on the good grub.

Now the moment of truth,

the taste test.

[slurps] Mmm.

I've done a lot of things
in my life,

faked my own death,

outran a cop on a lawn mower,

fought a horse,

but I ain't never made food
this tasty.

I think something spicy

I got a bottle of hot sauce
with a picture of a donkey

out of his rear, back home.

[groaning]

Have you seen a brown-haired
country boy?

Buck teeth. Kind of simple.

Looks like he's a few
kernels short of a cob.

Brother, I can't find
Wayne anywhere.

[announcer] Attention.
Little Big City is now open


- for visitors--
- [Wayne fumbling, mumbling]

[both] Found him.

[employee] Ah, he's coming!
Oh, gosh. He's coming.

Sir, please stop! You're
destroying Little Big City!

A teeny tiny replica, complete
with moving cars

- and working traffic lights.
- What? What? Ah.

[mini citizen] Get outta here!

- Ugh. [panting]
- [boat whistles]

[yelling]

- [both grunting]
- No! Not like this.

[straining]

- [panting]
- Is he okay?

Why am I so big?

- Not okay.
- Definitely not.

And ever since, that method
of extracting hot sauce

is ill*gal nationwide.

That's great.

Oh, I can't wait to-- [gasps]

[burps]

Oh, hey, Dad.

- [bottle shatters]
- No.

You ate all my food?

Sorry, I was starving
and it smelled so good.

But... But... But...

What's the problem?

You made plenty.

[bubbling, fish gasping]

Yeah, but I ain't hungry.

[sighs in relief] Here comes
the Pacific Express.

to Big City so you could

experience some
real excitement.

And today was,
definitely real exciting.

I'm exciting?

And that the excitement I
thought only lived in Big City

has really been inside of me
the whole time?

[train rattles]
