captures a toddler
struggling with a spirit.

All of a sudden I see
a force just kind of pulling
that toy out of her hand.

And it took me back.

A man in England
is tormented by
a troublemaking entity.

I definitely, definitely
believe in ghosts now.

A haunted
plane in Mexico...

...lives up
to the hype.

This figure is both compelling
and creepy as hell.

A man in Indiana
captures a mind-blowing UFO.

- Do you see that man?
- That is nuts!

Seeing it first-hand,
it was kind of exhilarating.

And even more
paranormal footage
you have to see to believe.

Every once
in a while, you might
catch your cat,

or dog,

staring at a blank wall,

or your child talking to
an imaginary friend.

Usually, not cause for alarm.

But it's believed
that certain animals
and some young children

can sense and see
other-worldly things
that adults cannot.

What?

So there are times
when that imaginary playmate

might not be
so imaginary after all.

Just ask a man in Michigan,

who believes he captured
his daughter playing a game
of tug-of-w*r with a spirit.

Southwest Michigan.

David Lignell's mother is
babysitting his three-year-old
daughter, Laura,

while he's at work.

During his break, David
scrolls through the footage
from his home security camera,

to see what his
daughter is up to.

One video in particular
makes him do a double take.

Watch the container
in Laura's left hand closely.

No, no, no!

Something
just tried to pull it
away from her.

My name is David,
and this is my video.

I just happened to
click on a video that
my daughter was in.

I'm watching her walking
around the kitchen,

and she's talking with
somebody in the frame,
you can't see who it is.

All of a sudden I see
a force just pulling
that toy out of her hand.

And it took me back.

Then,
just seconds later,

whatever unseen force
tried to pull the container
out of Laura's hand,

does it again.

No!

I had to watch
that video a couple
different times...

No!

...to really kind of wonder
what the heck was going on.

And when
David can't find
a logical explanation,

he comes to what
he believes is the only
possible conclusion.

-His daughter is interacting
with a ghost.
-No, no, no!

This is one of
my all-time favorite clips.

She stops. She clearly
sees something.

She's holding out
the objects in her hands.

And, I think the best moment
of all, of course,

is when it looks
as though something

grabs the thing she's
holding and tries to pull
it out of her hand,

and we almost see
her fall forward.

This is a child too young
to be acting,

to be pranking
people with this.

Whatever it is,
this is a genuine interaction.

I don't know
what this little girl
sees in her kitchen,

but whatever it is, she's not
taking any guff from it.

She's putting her foot down,
and she's letting it know
who's the boss.

No!

Well, when I saw that
my daughter was not afraid...

No, no, no!

...and she had a bit
of an attitude...

No!

...yeah, it was quite
funny actually.

But it definitely brought
confidence to me that
something like that

wouldn't scare her. That she
would stand her ground.

No!

It's widely believed that
children can see spirits,

and this ability usually
fades around the ages
of five or six.

Little kids that age
just aren't conditioned
to not believe in spirits.

To her, that was
a real person.

So she wasn't afraid,
because she hasn't been
conditioned to be afraid.

To some degree,
I think everyone is born with
what we call a sixth sense,

but it seems like some
people's gifts are
more pronounced,

and that there are, in theory,
families of seers,

and they can pass those
gifts to their children.

We hear about it mainly
with women as well,
although not exclusively so.

And it turns
out in this situation,
that makes sense.

Her mother has
had some experiences

with the paranormal
on her side of the family.

She would often talk
about her grandma

being able to, kind of,
see that other spirit world.

And I'm definitely
acknowledging the fact
that this is...

could be a possibility that
there is a spirit in my house.

And if we can coexist with
good mutual respect? Cool.

By the looks
of it, Laura at least
is coexisting very well.

As this clip has
clearly shown, no one can
stand against the little girl.

Ghost or alive.

No!

Little girls don't take that
crap from nobody, sir.

Not even you, ghost.

No!

Coming up,

a man loses sleep
from an ongoing haunt.

It's
widely believed that
a good night's sleep

is vital to our mental
and physical well-being.

That's because when
you're asleep, your body
is repairing cells.

So if you're deprived of it,
time after time...

Which seems to be
what a spirit is doing
to a man in England.

It will eventually
wear you down,

and make you susceptible
to health issues.

Who's here?

Or in Lee Hart's
case, mental strife.

Since 2018, Lee Hart
has been experiencing
paranormal activity

in his home in
Lancashire, England,

which we've seen evidence
of in past seasons.

Unfortunately, whatever
was haunting him then...

...is still going strong.

March, 2021.

Lee is asleep on
the couch one night,

when his security camera
captures more
paranormal activity.

Keep your eyes
on the floor,

as a dark, shadowy mass
creeps toward the couch,

and goes underneath it.

Then, two separate
orbs fly into Lee,

which he subconsciously
swats away.

My name is Lee,
and this is my video.

I don't actually remember
the orbs hitting me that night

but in general they do
feel like a bug hitting you,

just with a slight
cold feeling.

Seconds later,
another dark entity appears
to the left of the couch,

and head straight
for the camera.

The final apparition
was mind-blowing to me.

It was one of the clearest
I've ever seen.
It was so dark.

The fact that it walked up
to the camera,

and the camera reacted to it,
it just blew my mind.

We even hear
a sound, as if it had
a physical force about it.

And as it makes that sound,
we see the man wake up.

Did the spirit, or whatever
it is, specifically go to try
to turn off that camera?

This clip, I thought,
was extremely fascinating.

You see this orb of light,
coming from the opposite
end of the room,

and it's just drifting
right toward him,

goes down and literally
touches the man,
and he physically reacts.

There's no way you could say
this orb was a piece of dust
or anything else.

I mean, clearly it was
solid enough,

it made contact with him
and he literally reacted.

This is a perfect example,
I believe, of an
authentic spirit orb.

The following
evening, when Lee is
asleep in his bedroom,

a dark circular shadow can be
seen floating back and forth
in front of the camera.

Which, just like the first
video, is a precursor
to what happens next.

Watch as a shadow
figure appears at
the foot of his bed.

It walks towards the bottom
of the bed, directly below
where I'm sleeping.

It seems to me like it may
have been touching me
or tickling my feet,

and I was unconsciously
aware of it.

The shadow figure that
stands at the foot of the bed

is one of the scarier
things I've seen,

because it's so
unambiguously there.

About
a month later,

Lee captures more activity
while he is sound asleep.

But this time it's
much more obtrusive.

First, the night stand
on the left is moved.

Then, the one on the right.

Anytime an entity
can physically interact
with you like that,

that's not okay.

Because it takes a lot
of energy for these beings

to physically interact
with our world.

And so if he is being
physically affected
by this thing,

that means it's
pretty powerful.

It finishes off with
the alarm going off as usual.

Over the time,
it's had a thing of
setting the alarm off,

kind of to grab
my attention.

As you can imagine,
he can't even be sleeping
very well in his own home.

And there are theories
that there are negative
entities out there,

that want to do just that,
grind you down,

and make you more susceptible
to further activity.

I would love to know
what this spirit is.

How did it come
to be in the house?

What is its purpose?
And will it eventually just
leave this poor man alone?

Lee
certainly hopes so...

...because he'd like
to get back to living
the life he once knew.

And I never witnessed anything
or saw anything, nothing.

But this has changed
everything for me.

this abandoned
plane in Mexico?

On
December 29th, 1972,

Eastern Airlines flight 401,

crashed into the Everglades,

due to pilot error,

resulting in 101 deaths.

It has been rumored that
the airline salvaged some
parts from the wreckage,

and installed them
into working planes.

But some believe
that along with those parts,

came the ghosts,

of flight 401's pilots...

because they were reportedly
seen in the seats,

overhead bins,

and galleys of the planes
that received the parts.

After dozens of
alleged sightings,

the refurbished parts were
supposedly removed,

and the spirits were
never seen again.

But while Eastern Airline's
hauntings were resolved,

planes all over the world

continue their
paranormal legacy,

including one in Mexico
that may be infested
by a troublemaking entity.

Late 2021, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Kevin Barranco learned of
an abandoned plane,

that supposedly belonged
to a criminal organization.

The aircraft was allegedly
used to commit crimes,

and may have been the site
of some tragic deaths.

For that reason, it's believed
to be extremely haunted.

On this night, Kevin,
his brother and his cousin

are there to find out
if the rumors are true.

Not long
after feeling a presence,
they hear one.

They're not
pitter patters, like a
small rodent or animal.

These footsteps sound
like they're coming from
within the airplane,

even though all of
the investigators are
kind of standing still.

Then, even more
sounds, but far more creepy.

The growls were like,
they were like
guttural sounds.

They were like... it sounds
like something was very angry

because these people
were on the plane.

Although freaked out,
the team presses on.

And starts to make their way
toward the back of the plane
to check it out.

Moments later,
in the back row,

a dark figure
peeks out at them,

followed immediately...

...by a loud crash.

This figure is both compelling
and creepy as hell.

This isn't just a trick
of light because they hear
something in the cabin

to make them turn their
cameras around and then
they document this thing.

And to me, this shadowy
form almost seems like
it's crouched down,

and having a look.

It seems almost more
cryptid, if you will.

It kind of resembles
some type of creature,

more so than a figure
or an apparition of a person.

But if so,
what kind of creature

could be
simultaneously inside...

...and outside
of a plane?

There is
a lot happening here

that seems like it goes beyond
our typical ghost stories.

We had this growl...

...that sounds like it's
emanating from some
sort of creature.

There's the figure
in the seat,

and then the rapping
on the windows.

To me, it calls to mind
the notion of gremlins
on an airplane wing.

Gremlins originated
in World w*r II by both sides.

Pilots and mechanics found
that things were inexplicably
going wrong on the planes,

and said, "It's got
to be supernatural.

It's gotta be something that's
messing up our work".

Now that's in the air.
Could gremlins still
inhabit downed planes?

Do they see it as their
territory? Their lair?

Maybe, but the team
ends their investigation
before they can find out.

Though the terrifying
experience won't stop them
from going back again.

Except this time, they won't
leave anything to chance.

a triangle of lights,

stuns a man in Indiana.

On April 16th 2008,

Police were flooded
with 146 calls reporting
the same incident.

A deafening boom,

that shook houses in three
counties surrounding
Kokomo, Indiana...

followed by bright
white lights in the sky.

Government officials claimed
that jets from a National
Guard training exercise

were dropping flares
and breaking
the sound barrier.

But some locals believe
that was a cover up,

and the strange events
were really the beginnings
of an alien invasion.

Five years later,
a man saw a new set of
glowing lights in Kokomo,

and alerted the neighborhood.

Do you see
that, man?

That is nuts!

July 2013,
in Kokomo, Indiana.

It's late at night,
and Jimmy Taylor

is driving to the convenience
store to buy cigarettes...

when something strange
in the sky compels him to
pull over and start filming.

My name is Jimmy,
and this is my video.

I was driving down
the road, and then
I seen the three lights.

It was abnormal.
It was silent.

Nothing. You couldn't
hear anything.

Watch as three
glowing red lights,

forming a triangle,
float across the sky.

It was pretty big-scale
lights, you know,

and you can kind of
see it compared
to a business sign.

Seeing it first-hand,
it was kind of exhilarating.

This is probably the best
capture I've seen

of the triangular formation
in a very long time.

UFO experts believe that when
we see these types of crafts

traveling in unison,

it's not because they're
individual crafts themselves,

it's because they're all
part of one larger craft.

And one of the most
common sightings in
the world of UFO's

is a triangular shaped craft.

But it's not
a common sighting for Jimmy.

So he stopped some
people on the road...

- Hey!
- Do you see that?

...who were just
as puzzled as he is.

I just was,
kind of,

wanting someone else
to verify what I was seeing,

and that it was odd.

Yeah, I see it!

One of the most likely
culprits in a case like this
are sky lanterns.

And people light these during
celebrations like a wedding
or, say, New Year's Eve

and they rise up
into the air.

Generally, however, you're
going to see a line

that goes kind of straight up
or diagonally as these
things take off,

and then they kind of gently
meander through the sky.

Well, in this case,
it looks like these
objects form a triangle,

in a rigid sort of formation
as they move together.

And we don't really see any
evidence of significant wind,
at least at the ground level.

So who knows? Is it some sort
of object that was launched?

Or some type of craft
that is kind of cruising
across the horizon?

Whatever it is,
it's not the first of
its kind in this area.

Far from it.

There have been multiple UFO
or UAP sightings in Kokomo
throughout the years.

In fact, during the time
that Project Blue Book
was in operation,

from 1952 to 1969,
there were at least
eight reported sightings

to the Air Force
from Kokomo.

Perhaps
this sighting, and the others,

have something to do
with what's located nearby.

I do live 30 minutes south of
like, Grissom Air Force Base.

But I've lived there
my entire life,

and have never seen anything
like that, before or since.

It begs the question,
well, is this perhaps
something top secret,

deployed from that
Air Force base?

Or is it, perhaps,
extra-terrestrial,

and it's there to observe
the Air Force base?

All good questions
that remain unanswered,

because the lights eventually
drift away, leaving Jimmy
and the others befuddled.

- It was,
like, three! A triangle!
- It was a triangle!

That was nuts!

And while
they may have witnessed
something otherworldly,

they're not expecting
an official confirmation
anytime soon.

Yeah,
it's gonna be like,
"Oh, the Air Force did it."

I didn't see anything
on the news, nothing
in the newspaper.

But surely, I couldn't
have been the only one
to see it, you know?

Maybe I was the only
one to get it on video.

What are
they gonna say?

How do you tell the public
you got UFOs flying over your
house and not incite a riot?

Whatever
the explanation,

Jimmy is just hoping
he has the chance to see
something like this again.

I do look
to the sky more often.

I mean, I would love
to catch something else.

investigators capture a group
of shadow figures

at a former steel
mill in Alabama.

Sloss Furnaces
in Birmingham, Alabama,

is a former steel mill that
operated over the turn
of the 20th century,

where it's believed at least
47 people lost their lives

due to horrific
working conditions.

The furnaces have
since closed down,

but the facility remains
standing to this day.

And an investigative
team believes they
may have captured

a relic of its tragic past.

January 2011 in
Birmingham, Alabama.

A group of investigators from
the Alabama Paranormal
Research Team

are walking around
Sloss Furnaces,

an old blast furnace that
used to produce raw iron
and is known to be haunted.

And while one of them
films with their phone,

they unwittingly record
something truly bizarre.

Did you catch it?

Watch again.

When the camera pans to
an open ridge in the distance,

a group of figures,
congregated together,

dark, and standing
completely motionless.

The team doesn't notice
anything at the time,

and only sees the figures when
reviewing the footage later.

We can clearly see what looks
to be a dark human form,

and there looks as if
there might be other
figures there as well

and they're all sort of
conversing, perhaps?

There is about
three or four of them
that you can make out,

but you can't really get any
detail as to who they are
or what they're wearing.

It does really look
like there are some
people congregating,

and possibly watching
the investigators as
they approach.

They don't look like
tree stumps, they look
like human beings

that are standing there
that shouldn't be there.

The team claims
that no other people, visitors
or maintenance workers

were at the furnaces
while they were.

And when they later
returned to the spot
where they saw the figures,

they find nothing that
could be mistaken for
something like that.

It looks like people that
are bound and almost
broken of their will,

and from what I understand
that's pretty much the status

of the employees
of the Sloss Furnace
going back to the 1800s.

Sloss Furnace was
a major source of steel
for the United States.

So from the late 1800s
to the mid-1900s,

this was a place where steel
was made out of ore.

This furnace had a lot
to do with the reconstruction

of the south after
the Civil w*r.

You have to remember
that new train lines were
being built everywhere.

The entire South,
which was laid to ruin,

was being rebuilt,
and they needed iron
and steel to do that.

So the main work that people
were doing here was keeping
the fires stoked.

In order to produce
all of that steel,

they needed incredibly
high temperatures.

They needed a lot
of molten iron.

They needed to be melting down
basic materials of the earth.

And anytime you have that,
you have really bad fumes,

the opportunities for
people to faint, to die,
to fall into the fires,

which we do know,
of course, happened
at this particular furnace.

The deaths that occurred
there were some of the most
horrendous you can imagine.

And the conditions that
the workers were exposed
to were horrific.

If these
are in fact spirits
that are captured here,

it certainly would stand to
reason that it might be

the spirits of people
who died at this facility.

Or,
could the figures simply
be an imprint of the past?

It might be an instance
of a place memory haunting,

or a residual haunting,
where we're catching an image
that has happened in the past

and it doesn't have to be
the distant past,

but energy has been
absorbed by that location

and whatever the case,
whatever the trigger is,

that energy is released
and we're able to glimpse

a few moments of time
that has passed before us.

When there
are these specific
environmental circumstances

that charge the atmosphere,
you find yourself in
a flashback, so to speak,

where you'll start to see
what look like individuals

working as if it was a living,
breathing factory again.

And if this is
a residual haunting rather
than an intelligent one,

that might be for the best.

After they had spent
so many hours of their lives

toiling away in
grueling conditions,

I hope in their afterlife
they don't stick around there.

Either way,
it's an eerie reminder of
the furnaces' macabre history.

It's a disturbing image
and it's sad when you
think about its history.

That's how it
makes me feel.

a massive lake creature
surfaces in China.

Legend says that
sometime during the 1970s,

a local herdsman brought
his horses to the shores

of Kanas Lake
in China to graze.

But when he awoke
after a short rest,
his horses were gone,

and the water of the lake
had turned blood red.

It was just the latest in
a long line of stories
going back centuries

that led to speculation of
an unidentified monster

that lurked beneath
the lake's surface.

And a recent video...

has only refueled that fire.

May 2022,
on Kanas Lake in China,

from a precipice
above the lake,

a group of people watch
as something crests
the surface of the water.

The part
that's cresting is big...

...but the silhouette
visible below the surface
is impossibly huge.

We see something
that looks to be the only
thing in the lake.

We're getting a nice
bird's-eye view of this water,

and we're seeing what appears
to be something really big

disturbing this water
from underneath it.

It definitely
seems to be a long
cylindrical creature,

but it's breaching the surface
of the water

just at its very tip,
which I would have to
assume is its head.

You can see it almost looks
like there's a bit of a wake
at the surface of the water.

And if you look from
that point down,

that must be a massive,
massive creature, right?

I'm saying, like,
almost 50 feet long.

The locals that see
this lake all the time

you hear their reactions.

They seem very frantic,
a little panicky.

They're seeing something
they have never seen before.

So whatever
is happening there

doesn't seem like
something that should
be happening there.

True enough.

But this isn't the first
ever strange incident
at Kanas Lake.

Not by a long shot.

Kanas Lake
in Xinjiang, China,

has the legend of a cryptid
beast that lives in it,

that goes all the way back
to the 13th century.

The sightings
of this cryptid

pre-date the sightings
from Nessie in Scotland

and also pre-date
sightings and accounts
in the Okanagan Lake

over in British Columbia.

So it's one of the oldest
sighted cryptids
in a lake ever known.

Though the legend
goes back for centuries,

there are stories of
this thing actually coming
ashore in the 1970s,

and feeding on a farmer's
grazing horses.

When we add in
the long-standing tradition

of people believing there
to be a lake monster
in this body of water,

they refer to it as
China's Loch Ness,

that casts it in a very
different context,

where suddenly this recent
footage is being tied

to past sightings,
past documentation.

So this isn't just a one off,
"I saw something
weird in a lake".

This is, "I saw something
weird in that lake,

that famously has
something weird in it."

And adding
to the intrigue,

is not just the history
of the lake itself,

but the country
surrounding it.

It's funny to me that we're
talking about the Loch Ness
monster of China,

because my mind
goes in the direction
of another creature, dragons.

Within Chinese culture,
dragons are rulers
of the water,

specifically moving water.

And aside from dragon kings,
which might be more
humanoid in nature,

a lot of dragons
are serpent-like.

They do not resemble
the European dragons that
we see in fantasy novels.

And though
the idea of real life dragons

may be overwhelming
to consider,

it's not as far-fetched
as you might think.

I think that maybe
these are some sort of
prehistoric creatures

or cryptids, because there
was a point in time

when our planet's face
looked very different
than what we have now.

There were ancient lakes
that used to, you know,
be part of an ocean.

In Nicaragua there is
a lake that has great
white sharks in it,

and it's because they
evolved over time
to live in that lake,

because these bodies
of water haven't always
been landlocked.

They used to connect
with other parts of
the oceans and seas,

and then, little by little,
the topography of our
planet started changing,

and trapped certain animals
within certain places
and bodies of water,

just like it did with
those sharks in
the lake in Nicaragua.

Suffice it to say,

there is a lot that we don't
know about what lurks
within our bodies of water.

We're discovering
new marine life constantly.

We're learning things about
the deepest parts of these
bodies of water all the time.

You know, marine
biologists will often
say we know a fraction

of what's really happening.

And I think that's
a breeding ground for mystery.

What should you do
in the event you witness
something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

You see that
, man?

Check your footage
for anything unusual.

Trust that what you're seeing
really is otherworldly.

No!

Don't stop recording...
