This storm's from Taiwan
called Kong-rey. R-E-Y.

It's just coming up
on us right here.

which has been
sweeping across Taiwan.

Typhoon Kong-rey is
packing quite a punch.

[newsreader] Alaska is bracing

for one
of the most powerful storms

to hit the state
in over a decade.

big and bigger and bigger.

Well, if the cannery needs us
in just a few days,

and we don't have
any way around it,

we've got to pull these pots.

with our refrigeration system

so I'm grabbing my gear

In a typhoon, you can
only set two ways,

with it or against it.

But if a wave comes over,

what it does is it pushes
the boat on her side,

boom, and hits her square

sinking the boat.
