[Peppa]: Thanksgiving!

[narrator]: Peppa and George are having breakfast. - Mm!

- Oh. No cereal. Ah, never mind. I'll have toast.

[crunching] - Sorry, Daddy Pig, there's no more bread.

- Oh, dear. [snorting]

Well, we need to buy some food. [phone ringing]

- Hello? - Surprise!

- Dotty! It's Aunty Dotty.

- Who's she? - How are you?

- Oh, I'm good! I'm in a taxi to your house! - Oh! From the airport?!

[narrator]: Aunty Dotty is here already! - Oh!

[both]: Oh! - This is my sister. Your Aunty Dotty.

- Oh! Is that Peppa?

I haven't seen you since you were a baby!

- I'm a big girl now. [Dotty laughing]

And this must be George.

[snorting and giggling] Such a handsome piggy. Oh!

- Come on in! You must be tired.

Aunty Dotty has travelled a very long way to see us.

- I made this special journey for Thanksgiving.

- What is Thanksgiving?

- It's a wonderful time of year when families come together...

- To give thanks for all the good things in life. - Oh.

- We should have a Thanksgiving dinner!

- That would be fantastic!

- But we need to buy food.

- Okay, let's go shopping!

- Yay!

[narrator]: Peppa, Daddy Pig and Aunty Dotty have come to the supermarket.

- There's always lots of food at Thanksgiving.

- It is like Christmas?

[laughing] - Yes, a little bit.

Okay, we need potatoes...

Oh! Sweet potatoes.

Corn on the cob.

Oh! Marshmallows.

- And jelly. [Dotty laughing]

- Why not. [Peppa giggling]

[narrator]: Mummy Pig and George are at home,

making Thanksgiving decorations.

- You carry on, George. I'm going to call Granny and Grandpa Pig.

[George snorting]

[phone ringing] - Hello?

- Hello, Mum? Dotty's here! - Oh!

- We're all going to have a Thanksgiving dinner!

- What a wonderful surprise. Would you like us to bring some food?

- That's very kind, but Daddy Pig is buying all the food we need.

- And we need a pumpkin!

- Oof! Oof!

- Wow! Someone is hungry. [Peppa giggling]

[beeping]

- We are Thanksgiving.

[laughing]

[snorting] - Oh, well done, George!

Now I'm going to call Aunty and Uncle Pig. [beep]

[phone ringing] - Goo-goo, ga-ga. - Hello. Uncle Pig.

- Hello. Would you like to come for Thanksgiving dinner?

- Oh, terrific. We'll bring some food.

- Well, that's very kind, but-- [disconnection] Hello?

[Daddy Pig]: We're back!

- Oh, you've been making decorations!

[Mummy Pig]: George did most of it. [snorting]

Wow. Do we need to cook all of this food?

- Well... I am quite hungry. [snorting]

I'm going to bake my pumpkin pie.

[narrator]: Granny and Grandpa Pig have arrived! [honking]

- Oh-h*! - Dad! Mum!

- Oh, Dotty, it's lovely to see you.

[laughter]

- I made a pumpkin pie. - Oh.

- Oh! Two pumpkin pies!

[narrator]: Here is Cousin Chloe, baby Alexander,

and Aunty and Uncle Pig. [honking]

- Oh, look at you! You haven't changed!

- Oh! [laughing]

It's been too long!

- I've made a pumpkin pie. [both]: Oh.

[Peppa giggling] - Three pumpkin pies!

- What wonderful decorations. [George snorting]

- And such a lot of food!

- We can eat the leftovers for weeks!

- This is Thanksgiving. What should we give thanks for?

- Well, I'm thankful to see my family again.

- I'm thankful for all this delicious food.

- And I'm thankful for...

...everything! [laughing]

[Peppa]: Singing Lesson!

[narrator]: It is another day at playgroup for Peppa and her friends.

[operatic singing] [kids giggling]

- Today, children, we are going to learn all about singing!

[all]: Ooh!

- Mummy Rhino is here to play the piano.

[all]: Hello, Mummy Rhino! - Hello, Mummy.

- Hello, children. - Madame Gazelle,

we've done singing before.

It goes like this!

♪ La la la... ♪ - Singing is not shouting, Danny. Thank you.

[kids giggling]

It is a tuneful way to use your voice.

- Yes, singing can be lots of things.

Singing can make you feel happy. ♪ La la la la la

- And singing can make you feel sad.

♪ La la la... ♪ [kids sniffling]

[voice breaking]

- Singing can also make you feel excited and alive!

- Madame Gazelle,

does it always have to be "la la la"?

- No! We can sing anything!

But to sing well, you need to stand up...

and run on the spot! [laughter]

- Faster, faster!

- And then, bend your arms.

[giggling]

- Uh, is this singing?

- No, Danny. It is warming up.

We warm up the body and then the voice.

- My body's already warm.

- There is no harm in warming it up a bit more.

Now yawn. [yawning]

[all yawning]

And pfft... [laughter]

[all]: Pfft! [laughter]

- Now we are all warmed up,

we can start singing!

[kids]: Yay! - Let's sing a high note!

- What does that mean?

- It means different people singing different notes at the same time.

- No, that is for another time. - Whew! [Mummy Rhino laughing]

- But now you all know how to sing,

we can make up a song!

[kids]: Hooray!

- What shall we sing about?

[snorting] - Let's sing about singing!

[kids]: Yes! - Can we "pfft" in our song?

- Oh-h*. I don't think so, Danny.

[kids]: Oh, please? [laughter]

[kids]: Pfft! - Oh, um...

[school bell ringing] [narrator]: It is home time,

and the parents have come to pick up their children.

[snorting and bleating] [all]: Hello.

- We have a special treat for you mummies and daddies. [exclamations]

The children have made up a song and will sing it for you now.

- Everybody ready? [piano music]

- Bravo! [cheering]

- So now you children know all about singing...

- You can pick the winner!

[Peppa]: Singing Competition!

[narrator]: Today, Peppa and her friends are coming to the theatre,

at a big singing competition.

[fanfare] - Shhh! It's starting!

- Welcome to the singing competition!

[crowd cheering]

All the singers must sing a new song they have made up themselves.

[chuckling] Oh! What is happening?! - Ha-ha!

[laughter] - It's Grampy!

♪ I got up this morning-- ♪ - No, no, no, no.

We've all heard this I Got Up in Morning business before.

That song is not new, so you cannot be in the competition!

[all]: Aw... - I like that one.

- I'm sorry. Those are the rules. Now...

Mandy, Suzy and Freddy will pick the winner tonight.

[all]: Hello! - Hello, everybody!

- They are the judges. [laughter]

Pedro will be doing the scoring.

- Uh, hello.

- And Peppa will be our host. [fanfare and cheering]

[snorting] - Hello, everybody!

[all]: Hello, Peppa!

- Let's start the singing!

Here is Mr. Lion, Mr. Pony, Mr. Bull and Mr. Rabbit!

- Ahem.

- Hooray! [kids]: Good luck, Mummy!

- She sang the wrong words very well.

That is the end of the singing competition!

- Who's the winner?! - Pedro?

- Um... [laughter] [Peppa]: Oh, Pedro.

- Looking at those scores, I would have to say...

everyone is a winner!

[cheering]

- Oh, no. I thought I had that.

- Oh, well done, everybody! [banjo music]

Ah! What's going on?!

[giggling] - It's Grampy Rabbit!

[laughter] - Grampy's flying!

- With a new song! Ha-ha-ha!

[sighing] [indistinct chatter] [cheering]

[narrator]: Peppa and Suzy are out for a ride with Grandpa Pig.

- I just need to stop for some petrol. [snorting]

[narrator]: This is Granddad Dog's petrol station.

- Hello, Grandpa Pig! Do you need petrol, or air?

- Petrol, please. - We can fix that.

- Hello, Suzy. Hello, Peppa.

- Danny! Pedro! - What are you doing here?

- We're helping my granddad wash the windows.

- Oh, my windows are a bit dirty.

- We can fix that. [laughter]

[music] - What's that noise?

It's the Party Bus!

- Hello, Miss Rabbit. Can I help you?

- My party bus is broken! Can you fix it?

- Yes, we can fix buses.

That's odd. This engine seems perfectly fine.

- It's not the engine that's broken, it's the party things!

You see, the balloon machine is broken.

[rattling] [laughter]

- Is it supposed to do that?

- It's supposed to make balloons.

- The music machine is no better.

[discordant music] - It is supposed to do that?

- No, it's supposed to play party music.

- And the slide is broken too.

[squeaking] See?

- Even I know a slide isn't supposed to do that.

- Can you fix it, Granddad?

- I'm afraid I can only fix regular buses.

- Can you fix it, Grandpa?

- There's only one person wacky enough to fix this kind of thing.

- It's not my dad, is it?

[others]: Yes! - Ugh. Okay, I'll give him a ring.

[narrator]: Grampy Rabbit is in his boatyard.

- Bother. [phone ringing]

Grampy Rabbit speaking.

- Hello, Dad. Can you fix the Party Bus for me?

- Of course I can!

- Okay, I'm on my way. [discordant music] [laughter]

[all]: Hello, Grampy Rabbit!

- So tell me, what needs fixing?

[rattling] [laughter]

What is it supposed to do?

- Blow up balloons!

- Wouldn't you rather it blew your socks off?

- Uh, no.

- Well, if it was my party, I'd rather it blew my socks off.

[narrator]: Grampy Rabbit has fixed the balloon machine.

[all]: Hooray!

- I gave it a sock-blowing option.

Just in case.

- Thank you, Dad. What about this one?

[discordant music] - What is that supposed to do?

- Play party music!

- Wouldn't you rather it played hard-rock music?

- Uh, no.

- Well, if it was my party,

I'd rather it played hard-rock music.

There you go! [dance music] [cheering]

[narrator]: Grampy Rabbit has fixed the music machine!

- I gave it a hard-rock option, just in case.

- Can you fix the slide, Dad? - What is it supposed to do?

[laughing] - You sit at the top and slide to the bottom.

- Wouldn't you rather it shot you up into the sky?

You'd wear a helmet and a parachute.

- Could you make it an option? - Of course!

There you go! - Whee!

[narrator]: Grampy Rabbit has fixed the slide.

[cheering]

[honking] Here are Mummy Rabbit and Rebecca Rabbit.

[both]: Happy birthday, Grampy!

- Oh! - What's going on?

- It's Grampy Rabbit's birthday.

Did you forget?

- Uh, no. Why do you think the Party Bus is here?

- Oh-h*-h*! For my birthday party!

[laughing]

[hard-rock music] That's more like it!

And now... for liftoff!

[laughter] - Hooray!

- Now, that's a party!

[narrator]: Grampy Rabbit loves the Party Bus.

[narrator]: It is summer. Peppa and George have come to the apple tree to play.

- My go!

[narrator]: The apple tree has a little swing on it. [giggling]

Peppa loves the swing.

- Swing, swing! [giggling and snorting]

[narrator]: George wants to have a go. - I will push you, George.

[George giggling] - Look!

There's a little apple in the tree.

- Yes. In fact, it looks like there are lots of little apples.

[Peppa]: Can we eat one?

- Ooh, the apples look a bit small. Maybe they're not ready yet.

- Please, can we try? - Hmm.

I suppose I could give the tree a little shake and see if one falls down.

Oh! [narrator]: An apple has fallen on Daddy Pig.

- h*-h*! Here's your apple. - Thank you.

[crunch!] Ugh.

It's not very apple-y.

- It's a bit early for apples, Peppa. They'll taste better in the autumn.

- We'll come and visit the apple tree again then. - Oh, goody!

[giggling] [birds cawing]

[narrator]: It is autumn. The leaves on the apple tree have turned red.

[laughter] Peppa and George have come to play.

- Wow! The apples are really big now. - Yes.

I think they might be ready to eat.

- I'll just give the tree a little shake.

Oh! [narrator]: Lots of leaves have fallen on Daddy Pig.

- h*-h*! [laughter]

- No apples fell down. Shake it again, Daddy.

[snorting] - Okay.

Oh! Ow! Oh! Ah, oh!

[narrator]: Lots of apples have fallen on Daddy Pig.

- h*-h*! I had a feeling that might happen.

[crunch!] - Yummy! [snorting]

These are best apples in the world!

- Mm. Yes, they're definitely ready now.

- Mm! Yum-yum!

- Delicious! - Thank you, apple tree.

[laughter]

The apple tree is covered in snow. [kids giggling]

- Oh, there are no apples in the wintertime, Peppa.

- Maybe there is one left.

- Well, I suppose I could the tree a little shake and see what falls down.

[narrator]: All the snow has fallen on Daddy Pig.

- Brrr! [laughter]

I really should know better than to shake that tree. [snorting]

- Look! There aren't any leaves or apples.

- Don't worry, Peppa. The leaves will come back in the spring.

- Can we come back again? - Of course, Peppa.

- Oh, goody! [laughing]

[birdsong] [narrator]: It is springtime.

There are little flowers on the apple tree.

[laughter]

- Wow! Look at all the flowers on the tree!

- Yes. That's called blossom.

- It's beautiful. I love this time of year.

[Peppa inhaling deeply] - And it smells so lovely!

[snorting] Are there any apples in the tree today?

- Not today, Peppa. - Um...

can you shake it just a little bit, Daddy?

- Okay.

[narrator]: Lots of blossom has fallen on Daddy Pig.

- h*-h*! Well, I have to say

that's a lot nicer than apples or leaves or snow falling on me.

[Peppa laughing] - This is so pretty!

[snorting] I love the apple tree!

- Me, too. - I think it's the best tree ever.

[laughter] [narrator]: Peppa, Mummy, Daddy and George love the apple tree.
