[Peppa]: Indoor Adventure!

[narrator]: It is a lovely day.

Peppa and George are watching Daddy Pig.

- What are you doing, Daddy?

- I'm packing: A tent, food, sleeping bags... - Why?

- We are going on an outdoor adventure!

Oh... [narrator]: It is raining.

[kids]: Aw.

- Maybe we can do something indoors.

- Yes! Let's do an indoor adventure instead!

[kids]: Hooray!

- We can start by sledging in the snow.

- But there isn't any snow, Daddy!

- What do you mean? There are heaps of snow and ice here.

It's a good thing you brought your sledge.

- That's a skateboard! [Daddy Pig laughing]

- Today it's a sledge.

[narrator]: Daddy Pig is pretending.

- Get on the sledge and I'll pull you across the snow.

- Yay! [giggling] - Whoosh!

[kids]: Whee! [laughter]

- Whoosh! [imitating penguin call]

Look, everyone! A penguin!

[giggling] - Hello, Mrs. Penguin!

[imitating penguin call] [laughter]

- Oh. I'm afraid your sledge can't cross this river.

- Is there a river, Daddy?

- Yes! Can't you hear the water?

- Ooh, um... Blop-blop-blop-blop-blop. [laughter]

[narrator]: Daddy and Mummy Pig are pretending the kitchen floor is a river!

- How are we going to cross this river?

[snorting] - Can we use the chairs?

[Daddy Pig]: What a good idea, Peppa!

[giggling]

There we are. [laughter]

[laughter]

- Aha! Now we have reached...

the mountain!

[thundering music] [kids]: Ooh!

- Ooh! This mountain looks rather steep.

Maybe Daddy Pig should carry you, George?

[snorting and giggling]

Whee! [laughing]

[laughing] - Can you carry me too, Daddy?

- I was hoping you could be our scout!

- What's a scout?

- A scout is someone who walks at the front

and yells back whenever they see something.

- Then I will be the scout!

[snorting] Follow me, everybody!

- Can you see anything, Peppa? - Yes!

I can see a bear.

- Oh! A bear?!

- Don't worry, Mummy.

She's a very nice bear.

- Oh, whew! Hello, teddy.

[laughter]

[panting] - Have we reached the top of the mountain yet?

- No. We can go higher!

- Ooh! It's a bit dark.

- That's because now it's nighttime.

I'm glad we've finished climbing.

[giggling] - Now we can make a camp.

- It was Daddy's tummy grumbling!

- Then it must be time for our campfire supper.

- And here is our campfire.

It's just pretend.

after a long day's adventure.

- I think we had quite an adventure today.

- First, we went sledging.

- Then we crossed a river! [burbling water sounds]

And we climbed a mountain!

- It was the best adventure ever!!!

Everyone likes indoor adventures.

[narrator]: Peppa and George are watching TV.

- Silly Mr. Potato! [laughing]

[Mummy Pig]: Oh I think the TV has broken.

- But this TV has worked okay for years.

Never mind! We can get it fixed.

- Quick! Let's go now!

[narrator]: This is the TV shop.

- Hello Daddy Pig!

- Can you fix our TV please?

- I hope you can!

- Oh! No. This belongs in a museum!

- But... It's only just broken.

- Excuse me, Mr. Rabbit? Have you got any scrap?

[narrator]: Peppa and George have arrived back at home.

- Erm... Where is the TV?

- Grampy Rabbit has it.

- Oh... [honking]

But Mr. Rabbit has leant us a new TV!

- Hello!

- Here we go!

- She does giggle flops Mummy!

- She?

- Easy does it. These days, it's all voice controlled.

[TV]: Say your name... - Err... Daddy Pig.

[TV]: Hello "Err Daddy Pig". [He laughs.]

- My name is Peppa! [TV]: Hello, Peppa!

[George laughs and snorts.]

[TV]: Hello, George! - She knows your name, George!

[laughing]

[TV]: Network access required. - Oh, what does that mean?

- Mrs. TV can order food when the fridge is empty..

- ... tell the oven when to cook...

- ...and the vacuum when to clean the house!

[TV]: I'm here for you.

You can collect the new TV, our old TV has been fixed!

[laughing and snorting]

- That's more like it!

- I did like the new TV, but I like our old TV better.

[Mummy sighs.] - I agree, Peppa!

[They all laugh.]

[Peppa]: Cushion Den!

[narrator]: Today, it is grey and windy outside.

- Brrr! - Brrr! It's cold!

- Brrr. It feels like an inside play day to me!

- Well, play day for all of you, but I have work to do.

- Oh! Can't you watch TV

with me and George? [snorts]

- We can all watch TV after Mummy Pig finishes work.

- Okay! Let's watch TV, George!

[both giggling] - No! Oh.

- We use a duvet and pillows to make it more comfy...

- And a sheet to make it cozy inside!

[giggling] - Come on, George.

[gasps] Ooh! Daddy?

- Yes, Peppa?

- Um! It's a bit too dark...

[Daddy Pig chuckles] - Here have a torch.

- It is a cushion den!

- Everything is under control thank you, Mummy Pig!

[snorts] [all laughing]

[narrator]: Peppa is going to play at Suzy Sheep's house today.

- When you visit someone's house, Peppa,

- Does Peppa like pasta? - I love pasta, thank you very much.

You need to take your shoes off. - Why?

- It is a new house rule. We have a new carpet.

[narrator]: Peppa and Suzy have come for a picnic with Emily.

- Here's food for the picnic. - Thank you. Are you sure there are no nuts?

- There are no nuts.

- Why no nuts?

- I'm allergic to nuts. - What does "allergic" mean?

- If I eat nuts, I get very poorly.

- And that is why we have the "no nuts" house rule.

[narrator]: The "no nuts" rule is very important.

Only one person allowed to jump on the bed at a time.

[narrator]: Emily's house rules are not the same as Suzy's house rules.

- In our house, it's a rule that we clean our teeth after every meal.

- Normally, we wait at least minutes

for the pH levels to stabilize.

But it won't hurt to brush them now just this once.

[narrator]: It is home time for Peppa and Suzy.

- Mummy Sheep, Mummy Pig. - I hope they were well-behaved.

- It is always a pleasure having Peppa and Suzy to play.

Everyone's house rules are a bit different, Peppa,

but there is one rule that is the same in every house.

[narrator]: Today, Mummy and Daddy Pig are both working from home,

in their office.

- I'm a bit bored. George just wants to play dinosaurs!

[George giggling] - Oh, dear. I'm sorry to hear that.

[ping!] - Ooh! What was that noise?

- That was someone sending me an email.

- What's an email?

- An email is a message about all the work I'm doing.

[phone ringing] Oh, excuse me, Peppa. Hello.

[narrator]: Mummy Sheep is in the shopping centre.

- Hello, Mummy Pig. [bleating] Want to join me for a coffee?

- Oh, sorry, Mummy Sheep. I'm just too busy working.

- Oh, okay. See you soon. - Right.

- Daddy, what are you doing?

- I am ticking boxes. [snorting]

And now I am rubber-stamping.

- That's office speak. [snorting]

- But I want to help you and Daddy do work.

[narrator]: Peppa's office is the cupboard under the stairs.

- Yes. I see. [chuckling]

Maybe your office would work better without all this stuff in the way.

- Yes! Now, I just need a little table and a chair.

because I am working in my office.

[narrator]: Peppa loves work in her office. - Aha!

Can I do rubber-stamping in my office, please?

- And can I have some paper and some sticky tape too?

- Here you are. Have some labels and some envelopes, as well.

- Thank you. Because I have a lot of work to do today.

I'm on a page and I'm touching my face!

- I need a chair that goes round like Daddy's.

doing their work.

I've checked all the numbers and we're good to go. See you tomorrow.

- Okay. - Whew.

Time for a rest.
