which glows when the electricity is discharged.

Ash could use a Grass-Type like Snivy

or an Electric-Type like Pikachu

against another Electric-Type.

He should be careful.

Blitzle knows many different types of moves.

to Nimbasa City Ash has just been challenged to a battle

by a trainer named Stephan and his Blitzle

who have just started out on their journey.

You're gonna use a Water-Type

even though you're aware that I'm using an Electric-Type?

Now that's what I would call the perfect Scalchop deflection.

It's much like fine cuisine, make it well-seasoned!

Shock Wave didn't work, but we've got lots of other moves.

Oshawott, intercept it with Aqua Jet!

storing the energy in a special pouch.

I can't believe the shield Dwebble made

has just been turned to dust!

One more Electric-Type attack and that's it!

[neighing]

[laughs]

You can't deflect our powered-up Shock Wave with a little rock.

Now what am I gonna do?

Think about it!

Let's finish this up! Blitzle, use Shock Wave!

[neighing]

and Aqua Jet's too risky. What do I do?

[grunting]

[neighing]

- Oshawott, dodge it, quick! - Oshawott.

Multiple Flame Charge and show them what you're made of!

[neighing]

Blitzle. Blitzle. Blitzle.

Blitzle's really increased its speed with Flame Charge!

At this rate Oshawott's bound to get caught!

[groaning]

Blitzle.

- Oshawott's cornered! - There's nowhere to run!

So finish it up with Flame Charge!

[neighing]

Uh, go for broke!

Oshawott, Aqua Jet!

[screaming]

Oshawott!

Even its Aqua Jet's gotten faster.

Osha!

But that aim still leaves something to be desired.

After it, Blitzle!

[Blitzle neighing]

[grunting]

- You can do it! - Blitzle, let's win this!

[grunting]

[Blitzle neighing]

[all gasping]

[neighing]

- Oshawott! - Uh..
