they can use called Rough Skin.

Oh. So this is Sharpedo's Rough Skin, huh?

It feels kind of like sandpaper and works pretty good.

You know when a Sharpedo uses Rough Skin in a battle

it can be pretty damaging to most opponents that attack it.

So it looks like you just might have

gotten off easy in this case.

I just have to find out some more about this Sharpedo.

And judging from what we saw this afternoon

it almost feels like the Sharpedo

are working together to trap us.

MAY Well, I have to get off this island to buy a new swimsuit.

We only have eight Pokémon between us.

I think the others might start taking orders from us instead.

and I believe it's got to be worth us giving it a shot.

That motivational chanting stuff doesn't work.

Maybe one that lives in the ocean?

It could be that it had a battle with a Tentacruel.

Hm, most likely.

I guess the poison is just now starting to take effect.

Is there anything we can do to help?

I'm doing everything I can to keep its strength up

and make sure it's comfortable

but we don't have many supplies here on this island.

Ah, sorry, I'm not a Pokémon Doctor

so I can't give you any proper medicine.

Brock, you're doing a terrific job

and I'm sure that Sharpedo appreciates

whatever you could do for it.
