In fact, the doctor there is supposed to be one of the best.

in the battle round, too, and blew everyone else away.

That must have been the greatest day of your life!

DR. ABBEY I suppose, i-in a way.

MAY But then after that victory you disappeared

and you never entered another Pokémon contest again.

I've wanted to meet you for so long, Dr. Abbey.

You're giving me way too much credit.

Why did you decide to retire so suddenly?

Well, after I won the Grand Festival

I decided I should travel for a while.

DR. ABBEY I wanted to learn more about Pokémon

but I guess my big victory made me a little over-confident.

So when I was challenged to a battle one day

I didn't stop to consider

whether I was really prepared or not.

Johnny, Iron Tail.

[IRON TAIL MOVE]

[SHOCKED]/[PAINED]

DR. ABBEY Johnny fell all the way to the bottom of a cliff

and was hurt pretty badly.

I was frantic, but luckily I found a Pokémon clinic

that was run by a man named Dr. Moss.

Dr. Moss used his own unique massage therapy to treat Johnny

and in no time it was healthy

and running around just like before.

[PLAYFUL]

That's when I first realized there are other ways

that we can interact with Pokémon

besides just training and battling with them.

ASH/BROCK/MAY/MAX Hm..

I convinced Dr. Moss to make me his apprentice

and teach me all his healing methods.

First I had to learn all the Pokémon pressure points

and then the various massage techniques.

It took a long time before the doctor felt

I was ready to do any of the treatment work myself.

Even with all his help and supervision

I still made more than my share of mistakes.

But finally, one night

after a long hard day of treating Pokémon

Dr. Moss complimented me on my good work

and gave me a Moon Stone.

He said it was so my Skitty could evolve into a Delcatty.

SKITTY [EVOLVING]

It made me realize something.

I saw that just as Johnny had evolved

I needed to evolve myself.

And that's when I decided

to start a Pokémon clinic of my own.

[HAPPY]

Wow! How cool!

See, Pokémon aren't the only ones who evolve, so do we.

- That's a great story. - Mm-hmm.

Anyway, enough about me.

Before we go, do you think we could see your Delcatty?

Yes, absolutely.

So this is a Delcatty.

Delcatty, the Prim Pokémon.

Delcatty lives life at its own pace

napping most of the time

and rarely confronting other Pokémon.

Even when disturbed, Delcatty will move to another spot

'rather than fight.'

JESSIE 'What are the Twerps doing at a Pokémon clinic?'

There's a Skitty and a Delcatty.

Hey, I got another brilliant plan.

We catch 'em both and then give 'em to the Boss.

And why would he want that?

It's their only evolutionary stage.

MEOWTH That means the Boss will have a complete set.

Wow, what a remarkable pair you are.

A Skitty and a Delcatty. What a lucky owner I am.

He'll be so happy. Naturally, he'll think of us.

Meowth and friends have set a good example

for all of Team Rocket for collectin' this set for me.

And you know what happens then?

TEAM ROCKET Rewarded, then promoted. Yay!

But if full sets are good, wouldn't it stand to reason

that a set of all six of Eevee's stages would be even better?

All I know is Delcatty and that Skitty are coming with us.

Uh, shouldn't it get dizzy?

Here's what I used to do with my Skitty.

instead of using your hands, use your tail.
