I'm so psyched to see what kind of Pokémon we're gonna find.

Metapod's vulnerable body is surrounded by its hard shell


which protects it while it waits to evolve.

Awesome, I've never seen this many Metapod


evolving at the same time.

Their wings are beautiful.

This is the first time I've actually seen a Butterfree.

The Butterfly Pokémon.


Butterfree's love of flower nectar draws it


to seek out flowers, even if they don't have much pollen.

Looks like they're ready to fly away.


They're gonna begin their migration.

Nature, showing off it's delicious recipe for perfection.

To repel enemies, Caterpie releases an unpleasant odor


from its red antenna.


It molts several times while growing.


- Caterpie? - Uh-huh.


That Caterpie's gonna evolve into Metapod.


And then Metapod will evolve into Butterfree.


I guess it wasn't able to evolve with the rest of them.


Now it's alone.

Seeing this Caterpie really takes me back.


That's cause Caterpie was the first Pokémon I ever caught.

It sure would be great to know where that Pokémon is now.
