Altering every cell in its body,

Ditto can transform into a perfect copy of many different Pokémon.

It should be perfect.

If you can't do what you need to do, I'll get someone who can!

It's time to pretend you're a magician and steal some Pokémon at the same time!

As you can see, we have a blue box and a red box.

We place a Pokémon from a member of the audience in this blue box.

Now, count. One, and a two, and a three.

-Isn't that amazing? -[gasps]

The audience member's Pokémon suddenly appeared inside the red box,

which is far away from the blue box, has it not?

-Yes? -It teleported!

Of course it didn't.

The audience member's Pokémon is still inside the blue box.

The Pokémon in the red box is its exact double.

Our darling Ditto.

So Ditto's exchanged for the audience member's Pokémon.

It's brilliant! We steal Pokémon and no one knows!

Hold on. What happens to Ditto after all that?

This Ditto's smart! It'll find a way home.

One thing Team Rocket does well is blasting off at the speed of light!

Think of it. [laughs]

Here ye! Come see the street magician!

Whoo-hoo! Watch as your Pokémon teleports

from box to box in an instant, like magic!

Wow! That looks like fun!

-Eevee. -[Jessie] A box.

Ordinary, and completely innocent!

And right after the magic countdown,

your Eevee will arrive in that box way over there!

and are forcing it to do whatever they want!

Even to the point of imitating other Pokémon!

They're the worst ever!

[Meowth laughs evilly]

-Pika! -[Ash] Where are you?

-Ditto, no! -Stay there!

You don't get your emotional reunion just yet.

If you want Ditto back,

you'd better hand over that ransom immediately!

I guess you really weren't aware of just who we are!

When it comes to evil, love and sympathy go out the window!

[clears throat]

Quiet! And action!

-[muttering] -[grunting]

Voir.

And cut! That was just what I wanted.

Yes! Exactly what I wanted!

[narrator] And so ends an incredible collaboration

between Ditto and Team Rocket.

They've parted ways, but somewhere in Ditto's heart,

memories of their time together will always remain.
