We’ve arrived, but Zapdos hasn’t appeared yet.

[Professor Cerise] Got it. But according to our data,

there is a high probability it will near the port.

Continue your investigation.

Just be sure you take care, all right?

[both] Right!

So awesome!

[Ash] Zapdos is in there somewhere. I can’t wait to see it!

Well, if I’m gonna catch it, I’ll have to battle in the air.

So, Flygon’s the Pokémon for the job!

absorbing energy from the Power Plant!

According to this, it appears to have collided

with some mysterious life energy which then broke up.

You're saying you think that life energy was really Zapdos?

It was resting at the Power Plant after the storm.

And while there, it absorbed the plant’s electricity.

[Goh] What about the thundercloud that appeared in Vermilion City?

Maybe that was from Zapdos, too.

I know Zapdos can be found inside thunderclouds.

But maybe it can make thunderclouds as well!

Mm-hm. I’d say that Zapdos isn’t simply found in thunderclouds…

It takes in energy from lightning, as well.
