and move on to the victory tournament.

As he led off the tournament's first round

Ash discovered he was faced with

a more difficult opponent than expected

one with a surprising and sophisticated strategy.

As the battle progressed

and Katie continued to launch

one unexpected attack after another

she managed to drive our hero into a defensive corner.
