in vain the serious work of the meeting

The professor demonstrates his flight apparatus,
which is to reach the glaciers of the north pole

The electrical factory, where
professor created his work

The Suffragettes, which the congress rejected,
tries in vain, to participate in the conquest
of the north pole

Professor Klaps and its companions
begin their travel preparations

The scholars, who could not get into professor Klaps' flight apparatus,
seek to join the expedition by different other means

The automobiles try to join
the expedition as well
