[engine revving]

- Here I go!

Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- [laughs]

Hey, check it out.

A.J. and I are doing tricks

with our friends in the Axle City garage.

- Yeah! Yahoo!

- Ahh! Hoo-hoo-hoo!

Yeah!

Ah!

[all laugh]

- Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh! It'’s my turn!

Whee!

[laughs]

[all laugh]

That was incredible!

Crusher! Hey, Crusher!

You got to come try the slide. It'’s so much fun.

- Be there in a second, Pickle.

Ooh, I'’m making a pizza.

Just got to put it in the oven to cook!

In you go, pizza.

[sizzling]

All righty, time to slide!

[upbeat music]

- Okay, Crusher. Your turn.

- Everyone, stand aside.

This is gonna be the best sliding you'’ve ever seen.

[yelling]

[crash]

[tires thudding]

[groans]

[bonk]

- [sniffing]

Hang on, guys. I smell something.

[sniffs]

It smells like...smoke!

[smoke alarm blaring]

- Oh, boy. What'’s that sound?

- That'’s the smoke alarm.

The alarm sounds to let us know there could be a fire.

- A fire? Oh, no!

What do we do? What do we do?

- First, we all need to stay calm.

Everybody line up and follow me.

[engines revving]



[tires screech]

Let'’s make sure all four of our friends

make it outside safely.

Count them with me.

One...

two...

three...

four!

Great! That means everybody'’s here.

- Hooray!

Blaze led everyone outside safe and sound.

- Way to go, Blaze.

[siren wailing]

- Listen.

That sounds like...

firefighters!

[horn honking and siren wailing]

[dramatic music]



- This looks like an emergency.

Firefighters, get your hoses ready.



Now follow me! - You got it, Chief.

- Yes, sir. - Right behind you, Chief.

all: Ooh! - Wow!

Those firefighters are so brave.

- I wish I could be a firefighter someday.

- You'’d make an awesome firefighter, Blaze.

You'’re the bravest Monster Machine I know.

- Look, the firefighters are coming back out.



- Well, folks, we found what was making all that smoke.

- [gasps] Was it a fire?

A huge fire with big, superhot flames?

- Nope. No fire. Just this.

Looks like someone left their pizza in the oven too long.

all: Ew!

- Hey, Crusher,

isn'’t that the pizza you were making?

- My pizza!

Oh, I can'’t eat it now.

Nobody would eat this.

[crunch]

- Mmm. [chuckles]

Crunchy. [giggles]

[engine revs]

- You know, Blaze,

I think you'’ve got what it takes

to be a firefighter yourself someday.

- Oh, wow! That would be amazing.

But what do I have to do to become a firefighter?

- Well, to start, you'’ll need one of these--

a firefighter badge.

- Whoa!

- See those stars?

Whenever you help out in an emergency, a star lights up.

[shimmering tone]

- Wow!

- Check it out, Blaze. You just got your first star.

- That'’s right, but to become a firefighter,

you'’ll need to earn all four stars.

Think you can do it?

- You bet I can, Chief!

Come on. Let'’s go for it. I want to be a firefighter.

- All right!

- A.J., give me some speed.

- Go, Blaze! - You can do it!

- Do it, Blaze!

- ♪ Start it up, hit the gas ♪

♪ It'’s time for us to roll ♪

♪ Let'’s drive superfast ♪

♪ Ready, set, let'’s go ♪

♪ Come on, come on ♪

♪ Live it up and hit the road ♪

♪ Blaze on, blaze on ♪

♪ Faster, faster, here we go ♪

♪ Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh ♪

- Whoa!

Whoa!

- What is this stuff, Blaze?

- Hmm.

It tastes like strawberry yogurt.

[splatting]

- Look. It'’s coming from that factory over there.

- Whoa! - Somebody do something!

- Hey, me too!

- This looks like an emergency.

We'’d better check it out.

[energetic music]



[all yelling]

- Oh, man. This place is a mess.

- The yogurt is supposed to flow through those pipes.

But some of the pipes are broken.

And they'’re sh**ting yogurt everywhere.

Those workers need our help.

Come on.



- Whoa!

- Don'’t worry! We'’ll get you down.

- We'’ve got to find some way to stop the yogurt

from coming out of that broken pipe.

- I see a way.

We can use a valve.

A valve works kind of like a door.

When it'’s open, all the yogurt can flow through.

But when I close it,

it stops the yogurt from flowing through the pipe.



- You did it, Blaze!

- I'’m saved!

- Come on. Let'’s hurry and help the other trucks.



- Whoa! - Check it out, Blaze.

This pipe has two valves.

- Hmm. We'’ve got to stop the yogurt coming out of this pipe.

To stop the yogurt,

should we close the blue valve or the red valve?

The red valve, yeah!

- Ya-ah!

Whoa!Ah! Oh!

Whoo-hoo!

Phew!

- Help!

- Come on, Blaze. This way.



- Help!

- Quick. We'’ve got to save him.

To stop the yogurt

from coming out of the pipe,

should we close the blue valve

or the red valve?

The blue valve. Right!



[clanking and glugging]

- Whoa! Ah-ha!

Whoo! Thank goodness!

- Come on. There'’s still one more truck to rescue.



- Help!

- Whoa. That guy

really needs our help.

To stop the yogurt,

should we close the red valve,

the green valve, or the blue valve?

The green valve!

- Whoo! - All right!

- Yeah! - Whoo-hoo!

- Yeah! - You saved us!

- Aw, you'’re welcome.

I'’m just glad everyone'’s okay.

[shimmering tone]

- Blaze, look! Your firefighter badge.

- [gasps]

I got another star for helping in an emergency.

How many stars do I have now?

Two. Right!

Just two more to go, and then I'’ll be a firefighter.

- You can do it, Blaze!- Yeah!

- Hoo-hoo!- Yeah!

- Thanks, everyone. Stay safe!

[engine revving]

[upbeat music]

- ♪ Open, shut

♪ Time to crank it up

♪ Valves always getting opened ♪

♪ Use valves to start it flowing ♪

♪ Open up, up, up, make it go ♪

♪ Close '’em down, down, down, stop the flow ♪

♪ Valves control all the passes ♪

♪ With liquids and with gasses ♪

♪ Open up, up, up, make it go ♪

♪ Close '’em down, down, down ♪

- Ah! Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Wow! Look at Blaze go!

He'’s definitely got what it takes to be a firefighter.

- Ugh, it'’s not fair, Pickle.

I want to be a firefighter too.

- Aww. But you can be a firefighter, Crusher.

You just need to help in an emergency,

you know, like rescue a cat that'’s stuck in a tree.

- Well, sure, but where am I gonna find a cat

that'’s stuck in a tree?

- Ooh, ooh, ooh!I know.

- Pickle? What are you doing?

- Meow. I am a little kitty cat.

[whispering] It'’s just me, Crusher.

I'’m pretending.

Meow!

Won'’t somebody rescue me from this tree?

- Yeah.

I mean... [clears throat]

Yes, kitty cat! I will rescue you.

[relaxed music]

I just need to climb this wobbly, old ladder.

- Meow, meow, Crusher.

I don'’t think that ladder looks very safe.

- Stop worrying, kitty cat.

Just a little higher, and then I'’ll be a hero.

Oh-ho, whoa!

[cracking]

[splat]

[groans]

[splat]

- Meow!

[engine revving]

[energetic music]



- Whoo-hoo!

[sheep bleating]

Huh?

[bleating continues]

What keeps making that sound, Blaze?

[sheep bleating]

- Look. Over there. It'’s those little sheep,

and they look kind of worried.

[sheep bleating]

Aww, what'’s wrong, little sheep?

- [bleats]

- Gaskets! A little baby sheep is stuck down in that quarry,

and he doesn'’t know how to get back up.

- [bleats]

- Poor baby sheep. He looks scared.

- We'’ve got to rescue that baby sheep.

This is an emergency.

[engine revving]

Hop in, little sheep.

[all bleating]

Here we go!

- Whee! [sheep bleating]

- Yeah!

Hang on, A.J!

Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

[exciting music]

- Blaze, look out!

[suspenseful musical flourish]

[tires screech] - Hubcaps!

The tracks are broken! - [bleats]

- We'’ve got to find some way to fix them

so we can rescue the baby sheep.

[sheep bleating]

- Hey, look what the sheep found--old track pieces.

- One of them must be the piece we need to fix the track.

- Switching to Visor-View.

The empty space is meters long.

That means we need a piece of track

that'’s meters to fix it.

- Come on. Let'’s measure the pieces.

- [bleats]

- When you measure, you start at .

Then you look at the number where the piece stops.

This piece stops here.

What number is that?

! Right. - [bleats]

- It'’s meters long.

- But that'’s too small.

To fix the track,

we need a piece that'’s meters.

- Let'’s measure the other piece.

- [bleats]

- What number does this piece go up to?

. Yeah!

- Uh-oh. That'’s not long enough either.

Both pieces are too short.

- Wait. I have an idea.

Let'’s try putting the piece

and the piece together.

- [bleat]s

- Now does it measure ?

Yeah! and make .

[all bleat]

[engine revving]

- It fit! - Yeah!

[engine revving]

[exciting music]

- [sheep bleats]

- We'’re here, baby sheep!

[sheep bleating]

- Aw! He sure is happy to be rescued.

- [laughs] Come on, sheep.

Let'’s get you out of here.



- You did it, Blaze! You rescued the baby sheep.

- [bleats] - [laughs]

You'’re welcome, baby sheep. - [bleats]

[shimmering tone]

- Blaze, look. Your firefighter badge.

Another star is lighting up.

- Whoa! That'’s our third star!

How many more stars do we need?

One. Yeah!

Just one more to go, and then I'’ll be a firefighter.

- Come on, Blaze. Let'’s go earn your last star.

- See you later, sheep!

[engine revs]

- [bleats]

- Meow.

I am just a little kitty cat

waiting for Crusher to come rescue me.

- Don'’t worry, Pickle-- I mean...

[clears throat] Little kitty cat.

I'’ve got just the thing to get you down!

[whimsical music]

A bouncy rescue net!

- Ooh, this is definitely gonna work!

- [giggles]

Here I come!

[boinging]

- You almost made it.

You just need to bounce a little higher.

- [grunts] - A little higher.

- [grunts] - Little higher.

[boing]

Okay, that'’s too high.

- Uh-oh.

[splat]

- Me-ow!

[engine revving]

- Whoo-hoo! -Yeah!

[energetic music]

[sirens wailing]

- Listen. Those sound like sirens.

- And look! Smoke!

- Come on. We'’d better check it out.



Lug nuts! It'’s a forest fire.

[sirens wailing and horn honking]

- Good thing the firefighters are here to put it out.

- All right, firefighters,

open the valves on your hoses!

[clanking]

[water rushing]

Keep spraying!

For an emergency this big,

we need five fire engines working together.

- But, Chief, there are only four of us!

- We need one more fire engine!

- Blaze, we'’ve got to help them.

- And I know how.

[upbeat music]

Let'’s turn me into a fire engine.

First, we'’ll need to make a hose that can sh**t out water.

To make a hose, say, "Hose."

Hose!

All right. Now we need a valve.

When we open the valve, the water can go through the hose.

To make a valve, say, "Valve."

Valve! [clanking]

Great!

Now we just need a telescoping ladder

that can move the hose up and down.

To make it, say, "Telescoping ladder."

Telescoping ladder!

[whirring]

Yeah!

I'’m a fire engine

Monster Machine!

- Awesome!

Now let'’s go help those firefighters.

[energetic music]

- Fire engine Blaze reporting for duty, Chief.

I'’m ready to help put out that fire.

- Well, all right. Let'’s see what you'’ve got.



- Quick. Help me open the valve

so water can sh**t out of the hose.

Say, "Open the valve."

Open the valve!



- It'’s working. We'’re putting out the fire!

[steaming]

All right!

- Whoo-hoo! - Oh, yeah!

[engines revving]

- Good work, everybody. Looks like we'’re all--

- Oh, no, Chief! There'’s more fire down there!

- And it'’s heading for those trees.

- Don'’t worry, Chief.

I can stop the fire before it gets to those trees.

I'’ll use blazing speed to get there superfast.

- Go for it, Blaze.

[engine revs]

- To give me blazing speed,

we need to say, "Let'’s blaze!"

Say it with me.

both: Let'’s blaze!

[whooshing] - Go, Blaze!

- Yeah, Blaze!

- Whoo-hoo!

- Yeah!

[energetic music]



- Get ready, Blaze. The fire'’s just up ahead.

- Help me blast the fire with water to put it out.

When you see fire, say, "Fire."

[engine revving]

Fire!



- Nice sh*t.

- Now let'’s put out the rest of these fires.

Whenever you see fire, say, "Fire."

[percussive music]

Fire!



Fire!



Fire!



Yeah!

- Wah-hoo! Yeah! - All right!

We saved the trees and put out the forest fire.

- Yay, Blaze! I knew you could do it.

[horns honking, cheers]

- You'’re a hero! - Oh, yeah!

- Way to go, Blaze!

- Hey, Blaze. Your firefighter badge.

You'’re getting your last star.

[shimmering tone]

- Wow! I did it.

- Congratulations, Blaze.

You'’ve proven you can handle any emergency.

You'’re now an official firefighter.

- Whoa!

My very own firefighter helmet.

Thanks, Chief.

- Let'’s hear it for Blaze,

Axle City'’s newest firefighter.

[all cheering]

- Hooray! - Hooray for Blaze!

[both laughing]

- Meow!

I'’m still waiting to be rescued!

- [groans] I give up, Pickle.

I'’m never gonna get you out of that tree.

I'’ve tried a ladder. I'’ve tried a bouncy net.

I'’ve tried everything.

- Not everything.

- Well, what else is there?

- You still haven'’t tried catching me!

- Catching you?

- Whee!

- [yelling]

[bonk]

- Crusher, you caught me!

My hero.

- [sighs]

- Meow.
