JESSIE: We're blasting off again!

ASH: Floaroma Town!

BROCK: No wonder people call it

"the town of vivid and scented flowers." Wow!

PIKACHU: [AFFIRMATIVE]

NARRATOR: It's a veritable feast for the eyes, ears, and

noses, as our heroes finally have the chance to take in the

floral splendor that is Floaroma Town, home of Dawn's next

Pokémon Contest!

OLD WOMAN: Judging by your faces, I'd say this is your

first time in Floaroma Town!

DAWN: Yeah! We just arrived for the contest! It's so beautiful!

OLD WOMAN: Our trees and flowers are gorgeous. You'd never guess

that many years ago, this paradise was once a

barren wasteland!

OLD WOMAN: Everywhere you looked, the land was without

beauty, and the sad and weary faces of the people of this town

reflected the sorry state of affairs we found ourselves in.

Many tried to plant flowers and trees, but

OLD WOMAN: Nothing seemed to want to grow, no matter what!

OLD WOMAN: But legend has it that one day, a beautiful woman

climbed to the top of the hill to give thanks for nature's

great beauty!

OLD WOMAN: And with that, it was like the flowers and trees

couldn't wait to break through the earth and join forces with

the woman to express their thanks as well!

DAWN: What a beautiful story!

BROCK: And so beautifully told. Thanks for sharing that!

DAWN: Yeah, thank you so very much!

OLD WOMAN: It is not only my pleasure but my privilege to be

able to share such a wonderful story with you young people!

cooking class today!

ASH: Poffin? What's Poffin?

DAWN: Now don't tell me you don't know what Poffins are!

DAWN: Poffins are a Pokémon snack that's made from

tree berries!

DAWN: See, I always helped my mom when she made Poffins,

so that would make me an expert!

ASH: So if Poffins are a Pokémon snack, that would make it like

Hoenn region Pokéblock! PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

BROCK: Well, I guess it's like Pokéblock in a certain way,

but I've heard Poffins are made from a different recipe.

DAWN: And not only do Poffins keep Pokémon super healthy,

they keep them looking and feeling just great!

DAWN: Come on, wouldn't it be fun to take a

Poffin cooking class, too?

ASH: You know, Brock, she might have a point!

BROCK: I say yes!

PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

ROSERADE: [CONTENT]

LOTAD: [WATER g*n MOVE]

ROSERADE: [CONTENT]

ASH: Anybody home? ROSERADE: [CURIOUS]

ASH: I can't believe there's nobody here.

ASH: Uh, hello? We'd really like to take your Poffin cooking

class now, please!

DAWN: Ash, keep it down!

DAWN: I think you're scaring that Roserade out there!

ROSERADE: [CONCERNED] ASH: Oops. My bad

DAWN: Sorry about that! Just because he's loud now doesn't

mean he's rude all the time!

ROSERADE: [NERVOUS]

ASH: Hey! Let's check out the Roserade.

POKEDEX: Roserade. The Bouquet Pokémon. Roserade is the evolved

form of Roselia. It lures enemies with its sweet aroma,

then att*cks with dancer-like elegance.

ASH: So it evolves from Roselia!

FORSYTHIA: Did you say you're here for the

Poffin cooking class?

ASH: Uh huh!

FORSYTHIA: I made you wait! I'm terribly sorry.

BROCK: Apologies are a waste of time! I would've happily waited

until the end of time for just one fleeting but lovely glimpse

of your radiant beauty! My blooming flower!

FORSYTHIA: Oh, thank you! How nice.

BROCK: My I ask your name?

FORSYTHIA: Forsythia. Hello!

BROCK: Forsythia. For one in the throes of such blossoming

beauty, it's the perfect name!

BROCK: Ah, to stand in a field of flowers with you!

BROCK: To stand anywhere!

FORSYTHIA: Very well, thenwon't

FORSYTHIA: First, you put your berries in a pot of cold water.

FORSYTHIA: Then, you turn the heat up all the way while

stirring nonstop!

FORSYTHIA: It's this constant stirring that gives Poffins

their flavor, you see.

Okay, is everyone with me so far?

ASH: You bet!

DAWN: That's that. Good!

ASH: What are you messing with your Pokétch for?

DAWN: I'm just setting the timer! You have to be careful

when you cook Poffins, because if you keep it on the heat too

long, it'll burnbut if you don't keep it on the heat long

enough, it won't cook down, see?

FORSYTHIA: It looks like you've done this before, correct?

DAWN: Yeah! When I was a kid,

I always helped my mom in the kitchen!

FORSYTHIA: Oh, I think that's just great! Helping your mom.

BROCK: Hey! Not only did I help out my mom, but I helped out my

dad! And all my brothers, too! And all of my sisters as well!

CROAGUNK: [MENACING]

BROCK: I got it. Can we move on to something else?

CROAGUNK: [DISMISSIVE]

DAWN: Time!

BROCK: So once it's fully cooked down, you pour it

into the mold...check!

FORSYTHIA: You've got to stir it faster!

ASH: You mean like this?

FORSYTHIA: No, that's too fast! You're going to spill it!

ASH: Okay, then how about this?

FORSYTHIA: That's too slow! You're going to burn it!

ROSERADE: [FRUSTRATED]

DAWN: My Poffins are good to go!

ASH: And so are mine!

FORSYTHIA: All right! Great!

Then I guess it's gotta be snack time!

DAWN: Yeah! All right, everybody, come on out!

PIPLUP: [APPEARING]

BROCK: You too, Sudowoodo!

SUDOWOODO: [APPEARING]

ASH: Aipom, Turtwig, and Staravia! Ready to eat?

TURTWIG: [APPEARING]

DAWN: You're all gonna love eating these Poffins!

DAWN: Eat all of it, and you'll be all set to win our contest!

PIPLUP: [COMPLAINING] BUNEARY: [COMPLAINING]

PACHIRISU: [COMPLAINING] PIPLUP: [COMPLAINING]

DAWN: Wait! What's wrong?

It's the recipe my mom made for her Glameow, and it got raves!

BROCK: All right! So, what do you think?

SUDOWOODO: [HAPPY]

CROAGUNK: [STOIC]

STARAVIA: [EXCITED]

FORSYTHIA: There's plenty to go around!

STARAVIA: [HAPPY EATING]

ASH: 'Course nobody wants to eat any of mine.

ROSERADE: [SURPRISED]

ASH: So? I'll just eat them all myself!

ASH: Yuck!

FORSYTHIA: It's your first try! It takes a lot of practicing to

make Poffins that truly taste good!

PACHIRISU: [PROTESTING] ASH: Right...

DAWN: Please? Give it another taste

PACHIRISU: [EFFORT]

DAWN: Come on, everybody, I worked really hard on this!

DAWN: Hey!

JESSIE: Meowth, be careful! If you start putting any old thing

in your mouth, you'll get sick!

MEOWTH: Soon as you stop having old things come out of yours.

MEOWTH: That was delicious! I feel like I've gone to my grub

reward in the sky!

ASH: Hey! So your Pokémon didn't like the Poffins, did they?

FORSYTHIA: Pokémon all have different tastes!

DAWN: Is that true?

FORSYTHIA: Of course! Just like people have all kinds of likes

and dislikes, too! It's how you feel same with them!

What was your mom's Pokémon?

DAWN: It's a Glameow!

FORSYTHIA: Well, then,I'm certain your mother made her

Poffins specifically for the Glameow! Maybe you should try a

whole different approach for your Pokémon.

DAWN: A different approach?

FORSYTHIA: It's just a matter of trial and error until you

find the best kind of Poffin for your Pokémon!

FORSYTHIA: Then you'll be certain you're doing everything

you can for them!

DAWN: Great!

JAMES: So, as I see it, Sinnoh Poffins are prepared from only

the choicest of berries!

MEOWTH: Keep talking...

JAMES: Hey, so what's with that creepy closed-mouthed cackle?

MEOWTH: The wheels are turning!

JESSIE: Pokéblock is oh so yesterday! With Poffins,

dare I say we'll rule the world?

JESSIE: Flush with financial abundance as well as culinary

notoriety making dough that will make us real dough!

- JAMES: Well said! - MEOWTH: If you're nuts!

JESSIE: I mean we're going to get rich!

JESSIE: It's Poffins or bust!

JESSIE: Selling piles of Poffins are a must!

WOBBUFFET: [AFFIRMATIVE]

MIME JR: [ECHOING]

FORSYTHIA: You've all worked hard today.

FORSYTHIA: So! Why don't we all relax a bit with a

nice cup of tea?

ROSERADE: [NERVOUS]

ASH: Man, for some reason Roserade's scared of me.

DAWN: It might be 'cause you keep being so scary!

FORSYTHIA: I really am sorry! Roserade's always scared quite

easily and spends most of the time hiding out.

DAWN: Roserade's always done that?

FORSYTHIA: Long as I remember.

Even back when Roserade was still a sweet little Budew.

NURSE JOY: Welcome back!

NURSE JOY: Would you come with me into the examination room?

FORSYTHIA: Thanks!

BUDEW: [SCARED]

NURSE JOY: I've been watching nonstop, tending to the injuries

received when that wild Budew picked that awful fight.

Thankfully, the physical wounds seem to have all healed up.

NURSE JOY: But Budew's never really bonded with any of the

other Pokémon here.

NURSE JOY: Budew, dear, isn't it time for you to go and have a

snack with all of the other Pokémon?

BUDEW: [QUESTIONING]

BUDEW: [HAPPY]

FORSYTHIA: Really? You like these?

BUDEW: [AFFIRMATIVE]

FORSYTHIA: Hey, I know! If you'd like to see, I have lots and

lots of flowers at my house!

BUDEW: [EXCITED]

FORSYTHIA: Would that be all right?

NURSE JOY: Yes, of course it would!

NURSE JOY: Whatever makes Budew happy!

FORSYTHIA: Well then, we'll see you later!

BUDEW: [CURIOUS]

FORSYTHIA: Yes, it is cold outside!

BUDEW: [HAPPY]

FORSYTHIA: Budew loved caring for the flowers!

FORSYTHIA: And before I knew it, Budew evolved into Roselia,

and finally into my beautiful Roserade!

FORSYTHIA: Now, Roserade and I have become quite the team!

LOTAD: [REASSURING] FORSYTHIA: [SHOCKED]

ASH: Hey! What was that? PIKACHU: [CONCERNED]

JESSIE: We're in our Bowl-a-Matic Mark Two, looking

JESSIE: Is that a voice I hear?

JESSIE: Creating utter chaos at a breakneck pace!

JESSIE: Putting the do-gooders in their place!

fast fortune selling Poffins and not you!

MEOWTH: If we don't want that flower bully digging up our

roots, we'd better l am out of here and quick!

ROSERADE: [CHALLENGING]

MEOWTH: Oh yeah? As long as I'm still kicking,

no ninja nut job's going to bully me!

ASH: Your Roserade's awesome!

PIKACHU: [EXCITED] LOTAD: [HAPPY]

MEOWTH: What? Who put that Roserade in charge?

LOTAD: [EXPLAINING]

MEOWTH: You know there's a Team Rocket rule against

b*ating up bad guys!

LOTAD: [EXPLAINING] MEOWTH: Yeah?

MEOWTH: And Pokémon who love to eat fruit get the

berry boot? LOTAD: [AFFIRMATIVE]

MEOWTH: So Roserade protects this orchard from mugs like me!

FORSYTHIA: These berries are better than any others.

FORSYTHIA: And these flowers are more beautiful than

any others, too!

FORSYTHIA: And it's all because of Roserade!

JESSIE: She makes me sick, so do something!

JAMES: Just one of Roserade's Magical Leaves is one too many!

MEOWTH: Tell me something I don't know?

FORSYTHIA: But how could my Roserade be so forceful?

LOTAD: [EXPLAINING]

MEOWTH: Lotad says, soon as Roserade puts on that scarf,

JESSIE: Of course we will!
