My parents have really been
skeptical about me

We have a very good

how my mom's gonna react

yara can make a good impression.

That we wanted, a big wedding,

Since both of our families
can't be here

For us to get married,

I was thinking just
we can go to vegas.

We can make a fun weekend
out of the whole deal.

I wish we could do something
more with my family,
but I guess not.

But at least some type
of little wedding thing,

Just some type of little party.

It makes me sad, though,

to do something for y'all.

I don't know if it's
a matter of yara's

Maybe being a little selfish
and "I want it my way"...

But it really deep down inside
kind of hurts my feelings

Because in the big picture,
she chose to come here.

So if jovi would have chose
to go there

And I wasn't allowed
to go in the ukraine,

I would just have to accept that
that was his decision.

Maybe we need to talk about it
a little bit more

really be disappointed

If we didn't do anything.

My name is andrew.
I'm from roseville, california.

I'm 32 years old,
and I run a daycare center.

A very long time ago,

There lived an emperor
in a splendid palace.

I had never really imagined
myself working in a daycare

Or running a daycare,
owning one.

It's certainly not a profession
that men find themselves in,

But I think that
a positive male influence

Is incredibly important.

I run the daycare center
with my mom,

And we operate it
out of her house.

I work 12 to 13 hours a day,
so I don't necessarily have

An opportunity to maintain
a large group of friends.

And so a lot of the times,

I'm comfortable
hanging out by myself.

I have been lucky
to date many wonderful women.

Unfortunately, none of them

Evolved into any type
of long-term situation,

But I want to have
a relationship.

I want to have a family.

I want to settle down.

I tried online dating locally,
but nothing really developed.

And so ultimately,

I ended up trying
the international website,

And luckily,
that's when I found amira.

[ bell tolls ]

from there, we talked every day.

We got to the point we're like,
"hey, let's get together.

She says she always wanted
to go to las vegas.

I was really nervous
to go meet amira.

I had done all this work.
I had prepared, like,

This entire trip for her
in las vegas.

I set up everything
and all these surprises

And all this stuff,

And, like, my heart is b*ating,
you know, like a cartoon cat.

She came out, and she
looked like a supermodel,

Like she walked right out
of a magazine.

She just grabs my hand,

And all that nervousness
goes away.

Like, that connection,
just that ease with a person,

It's something that
you don't always find, you know?

Are you having any concerns?

We're definitely worried
about her visa,

And if we don't
activate it right now,

We're not gonna have
an opportunity.

Andrew:
It is becoming very worrisome

That we're not gonna be able
to use the k-1 visa,

But I would rearrange the stars
for amira.

I will move heaven and earth
for us to be together,

And that's exactly
what I'm doing.

And I'm pretty good at finding a
lot of resources and loopholes.

So we're planning
to go to mexico,

Quarantine for 14 days,

And then
enter the united states.

Amira is getting ready
to go to mexico.

She'll be getting on
a plane pretty soon.

How is she doing?

She's nervous,
and that's understandable.

You know, like, covid.

I would be
incredibly nervous, too.

How did you find all this out

About going to mexico and stuff?

I was on a message board

For other people
doing the k-1 visa process

And saw that other people
were using this as a loophole

And successfully getting into
the united states through mexico

After waiting
the 14-day quarantine period,

And so I got very excited
about the idea of us actually

Being able to activate this visa
and thus being able to use it.

So do you have any concerns
about her visa

If something goes wrong?

Of course I'm concerned
about her visa.

The whole reason
that we're doing this

Is because we're concerned
about her visa.

I mean, it's not like we want

To do a vacation to mexico
during a pandemic.

Lori: When andrew told me
that he was going to mexico,

My first reaction was,
"are you serious?"

Because that just seems
very extreme.

I am just stunned with
what's happening in the world

With the pandemic,
and that scares me.

Because she's young and I don't
really know her intentions.

That is very handsome.

it may not be powder blue,

to protect himself.

Tarik: Dean is my brother.

Me and dean used to be
super tight, but we are not now.

hazel and I's relationship,

to the philippines

For the first time
to meet hazel,

My brother went along with me.

I'm so angry at my brother dean,
there is no recovery.

To hazel

My daughter, ari, has autism.

communicates differently.

There's a lot at stake for me
to have hazel move in to my home

With me and my daughter.

The only person I've ever
lived with is ari's mom,

go the way I expected.

And that concerns me.

So I'm hopeful,

really know someone

Until you live with them.
