Network Wiggles News.

Well, it was all
fun, fun, fun today

when Dorothy the
Dinosaur and her friends

visited the Australian museum.

Let's take a look and
see what they discovered.

And hello, everybody.

We're at the museum.

And here are some
of my ancestors.

Let's have a look around.

These dinosaurs must have
lived a long time ago.

I wonder how they
got to be here.

CHILD: They probably died
out, and someone picked

them up when they found them.

And then they put all
the pieces together.

And that would
have been very hard

and would take years
and years to do it.

DOROTHY: I wonder what
these dinosaurs used to eat.

I think they--

they're meat eaters.

And there are called carnivores
that ate other dinosaurs.

And there are herbivores,
which ate like trees and stuff

like that.

I wonder what they looked
like when they were alive.

They could be green
with yellow spots.

DOROTHY: The same as me.

Look at that big, furry animal.

I wonder what that
might have been.

CHILD: It might
have been a bear.

It might have been something
that evolved into a wombat

later on.

DOROTHY: That looks
a bit like an emu.

They can't fly, can they?

No.

No.

They can walk.

They can run fast.

Most birds can
fly but emus can't?

Because their wings are a
little bit too small, maybe?

We're putting this
dinosaur jigsaw together.

It's quite tricky,
but we'll keep trying.

I think it's millions

It's quite a nice specimen.

been doing, Rebecca.

REBECCA: I'm making a
person out of toothpicks.

ANTHONY: A person?

And you've put the toothpicks
in, as I'm guessing, the legs.

Is that right?

And of course, over
here, we've got Zach.

Zach, tell us about
what you're doing there.

ZACH: Making the legs.

ANTHONY: And you've
got two potatoes.

That's an interesting idea.

Tell us about that.

ZACH: These are the legs.

And I joined the head
on with a toothpick.

ANTHONY: Wow.

So the one-- the head
is the top potato,

the body is the bottom potato.

And that's brilliant.

Riley, tell us about what
you're doing over there.

RILEY: I'm making a horse.

The cork is the head.

The body is the potato.

And the four legs are toothpick.
