02x16 - Problem in Pangabula

big jake was very happy for snuffing

the little skyrider was having his first

visit to pangaboola island

so he could see the island's famous

sparkleberry tree

jj and tracy told me so much about the

sparkleberry tree

i can't wait to see it for myself

i wish i could see it with you too

stuffy but i have to make an important

delivery here on the island

you kids can visit it on your own i want

to hear all about it when i get back

snuffy

okay big jake bye

so big jake took off to make his nearby

delivery

and snuffy went to find jj and tracy

snuffy flew back to the island as fast

as his little wings could take him

oh i see tracy and jj they're over there

by that huge tree

could that be the sparkleberry tree i

think it is

oh boy

hi tracy hi jj is this it

is this this sparkleberry tree

yeah it is

gosh it's so so

um you know it's really kind of

unsparkly hey were you guys pulling

my prop about those sparkling berries

no way they used to glitter like little

stars

well then uh we must be standing near

the wrong tree

sorry snuffy this is the one and only

sparkleberry tree something's wrong the

tree looks sick

maybe we better figure out why jj and

tracy began

searching for clues for why the

sparkleberry tree was sick

i don't see anything strange around the

bottom

and i don't see anything funny near the

top either

sure is strange i wonder what's wrong

let's radio brenda maybe she'll know

what to do

good idea this is jj calling brenda

come in brenda oh hey jj how's the trip

going

how's pangaboo island hi brenda we're

here

but the sparkleberry tree looks awful

sick

and we can't figure out why the branches

are all

droopy and the berries aren't sparkly

it's

really really sad gosh that sounds awful

i wonder what's wrong with the

sparkleberry tree

wait a minute i remember reading that

plants need three things

to keep them healthy good soil which is

basically the dirt that plants live in

and most importantly lots of sunlight

and

water why don't you guys look for these

three things

the more information we can gather the

better we can figure all this out

okay bring the blue over and out

bryn is right let's go see what we can

find out

yeah maybe the sparkleberry tree needs

sunlight

water and good soil too let's split up

and look all over pangaboola island to

check on those three things

okay let's get going

jj flew low over the trees of pangaboola

island

searching for clues but hard as he

looked

he couldn't find a thing let's see

brenda said plants need sunlight but all

these trees are getting lots of sunshine

[Music]

the sparkleberry tree's getting a bunch

of sun too so

that's not the problem since

jj had tried his best to figure out why

the sparkleberry tree was sick

he decided to just keep it company until

tracy and snuffy returned

don't worry we won't let you down pal

i just hope tracy has better luck

solving this mystery than i did

let's see there's plenty of dirt here

and that's just what brenda said was

perfect for plants

maybe there's not enough dirt around the

tree

tracy decided to fly back to see if this

was the problem

hi tracy hi jj did you find out anything

about the tree

oh i checked and double checked the

sparkleberry tree is getting plenty of

sunlight so

that's not why it's sick what about you

did you find anything wrong i'll let you

know in just a minute

huh the dirt by the sparkleberry tree is

just like the dirt on the rest of

pangaboola island

i don't get it what's hurting this poor

tree

oh no now the sparkleberry tree is

losing its leaves

this is awful i hope snuffy's found out

what's wrong

snuffy was looking in the water at

pangaboola stream

he remembered that brenda had said water

was important to plants

hey what's that hey

it looks like this trash is right in the

middle of the water here

hmm i wonder if this water is supposed

to run by the sparkleberry tree

maybe the sparkleberry tree is just

thirsty because this water isn't

reaching

it snuffy began to follow the dried up

water trail to see if it ran next to the

sparkleberry tree

snuffy saw that the water trail led him

right back to the sparkleberry tree

and his waiting friends snuffy had

solved the mystery guess what guys

i went to playing a bulla stream and

found this water trail that led me right

back here

i bet the sparkleberry tree used to

drink from it but it can't anymore

but why not because some trash is in the

stream so it can't reach all the way to

the sparkleberry tree

jg's talking on the radio to brenda did

you hear snuffy brenda

i sure did good work snuffy

the stream of water that feeds the

sparkleberry tree

is so filled up with trash that the

sparkleberries can't drink any of it

and without water even a sparkleberry

can lose its sparkle and get sick

poor tree it must really be thirsty

gosh brenda i didn't know trees can be

thirsty whenever i'm thirsty you and big

jake

and savannah and oscar always take care

of me

and give me water but you're all

grown-ups

i don't know what a little plane like me

can do to take care of a big tree

but there is something that you can do

snuffy

really i'm not too little to help such a

big

tree no you're just the right size

all you have to do is remove the trash

from the stream

once the trash is gone the water will be

free to run

down the water trail and reach the

sparkleberry tree again

see then it won't be thirsty anymore

is that all let's do it

yeah let's go yay

jj and tracy followed snuffy along the

stream

until they reached the pile of trash

yuck look at all that paper and stuff

no it's all messy how will we move it

the little planes thought long and hard

jj thought so hard his jets began to

spin

faster and faster they spun until it

gave him

a great idea hey guys

i know what we can do we can blow the

trash over to the side of the stream

under the sand yeah

okay let's do it

[Music]

you'll look great in no time guys yeah

clean it up let's clean it

up oh come on guys

we found the key to help the

sparkleberry tree

she's been saying i've had enough it

does it like this yucky stuff

[Music]

let's clean it up our mother nature

needs a hand

with all her trees and streams

and when everybody helps it's kind of

fun

hey we did it we're done

[Music]

hey guys maybe we can radio herky to

hover over and take the trash away for

us

good idea and we can tell everyone here

on the island to look out for the litter

bugs who put trash in the water

so this won't happen ever again all

right

we gotta make sure our friend the

sparkleberry tree gets plenty of water

to drink

let's go see how he's doing okay come on

when snuffy jj and tracy return to the

sparkleberry tree

they saw a very different sight

[Music]

look at the tree it's not sad looking

anymore

indeed the sparkleberry tree was

glittering and glowing

i gotta hand it to you snuff you solved

the mystery

and made the sparkleberry tree feel

better again

oh thanks and you were right too guys

the sparkleberry tree is as neat as you

said it would be

i'm so glad we could make it feel better

hey snap if you listen carefully you can
