it was a dark cloudy day at terrytown

airport

and because of the big rainstorm that

was coming

jj tracy and snuffy were sad that

they couldn't fly off and play

this is turning out to be a real nothing

to do

day yeah because there's nothing to do

nothing

[Music]

my goodness there you are

[Music]

herky and i thought we'd come to see

what you're all up to

why are y'all wearing such long faces

well we did have a whole day of fun

things planned but now

because of the rain that's coming it's a

real nothing to do

day oh wow of course there are fun

things to do

sugar why a day like today can be a good

day to practice how to use your

imagination

[Music]

imagination what's that it's something

you have in your head

we do yes tracy and with it

you can travel to all sorts of wonderful

places

and do all sorts of wonderful things all

without

leaving your hangar but that doesn't

even make sense savannah

how can imagine what's it do that

well the best way for me to show you

would be for us to actually

use our imaginations we'll play a game

called

pretend how do we play pretend well

i'm going to tell you one of my favorite

stories

and y'all have to pretend that you are

the planes in the store

okay but i don't see how this can be as

much fun as flying around on a sunny day

oh come on now honey give your

imagination a try

well okay marvelous

all right now this story is called

the three little plays you have to close

your eyes

and imagine yourself in the story are

you ready

ready ready good

there were once three little planes

they were flying across the sky having a

wonderful time together and the names of

these three little planes

were jj tracy and herky

that's right well they were enjoying

their trip

so much that they decided to land

to see what was on the ground

[Music]

no sooner had they landed when suddenly

they got an urgent radio message from

farmer oscar

callings calling all planes and

helicopters too

there's a big bad old plane coming to

terrytown

[Music]

we better go build ourselves hangers to

hide in so the big bad plane can't get

to it

so they all ran off to do just that

uh hey savannah when do i get to be in

the story

i want to use my bad donation too

and just who did you think the big bad

plane was going to be

[Music]

me that's right honey

[Music]

i'm the big bad plane

yeah that's not scary enough

that's a little better hey i know

i'm the big bad

that's it blade found the right voice oh

that's

wonderful and just in time too because

the big bad plane was on his way

uh just how big and and how bad was he

savannah

oh not too big and too bad because after

all he is being played by snuffy

oh yeah

hooky had just finished building his

hanger

not a bad job if i do say so myself

oh that must be the big bad

plane i've gotta hide

[Music]

and he did the big bad plane kicked up

such a wind with his propeller

that herky was blown away

[Music]

meanwhile jj had just finished building

his hangar

this'll hold up against anything jj

jj you gotta save me help

what's wrong the big bad plane blew

down my head

oh that must be the big bad plane again

quick we've got to hide

i'll use my propeller again and he did

the big bad plane kicked up such a wind

with his propeller

that this time jj and hooky were both

blown away

[Music]

now it just so happens that tracy had

just finished building her hanger

yes what a great hanger

me too tracy tracy you gotta save

us the big bad plane blew down both our

hangers

oh that must be the big bad plane again

quick we've gotta hide follow me

let me

but then nothing happened

so he tried again

but this time not only did nothing

happen

but the big bad plane was all blown out

for the day

[Music]

um so uh you know that part about

puffing and puffing

and blowing your hanger in

i don't want to do it anymore so is it

all right if i come in

only if you say the magic word please

okay so

they opened the door and let the big bad

plane in

and you know what he wasn't all that big

and bad after all

and that's the story of the three little

planes

you can open your eyes now hey

that was fun savannah yeah and we didn't

have to go anywhere

wow savannah that imagination stuff

works great

[Music]

hey look guys the sun came out

wow well i sure am glad y'all had a good

time

but now you can go play i'll see you

we can use our imagination to have fun

on a cloudy day

think of what we can do with it on a

sunny day like this
