03x01 - Spending Time with Big Jake

ever since JJ the jet plane first met

big Jay

they always got together at the end of

the day to have fun

can't you go any faster dude I'm right

behind you little fella

a place to go was the lightning bug Lake

I think we're just in time yes they were

just in time to see an incredible

display of lights put on by the

lightning bugs you see lightning bugs

are little bugs whose bodies light up I

think you're supposed to wish in secret

JJ JJ really did know too because

whenever you spend a lot of time with a

person you care about you get to know

what's in their heart without them ever

having to tell you Jake

I like spending time with you too little

later when the light show was over Big

Jake and JJ returned to Tarrytown

Airport good night JJ

sleep tight JJ would like to join me on

my cargo run tonight I didn't go ask him

now before he gets to sleep

now Big Jake didn't intend to listen in

on what the kids were saying he just

didn't want to interrupt their front now

much as JJ loved his friends he wanted

to keep his special time with Big Jake

to himself

so JJ decided not to let on how much his

time alone with Big Jake meant to him

and just then Big Jake overheard

something he wasn't supposed to hear

together it's really it's not such a big

deal you know in fact in fact you might

think it's kind of

now JJ didn't mean that he was bored

spending time with Big Jake but Big Jake

didn't know that I don't want my little

buddy to be bored I've got to do

something

I've just got to think of something

exciting for us to do the next day me

Jake didn't buy JJ to join him

but I like your cargo run since we know

the route by card we can fly and talk at

the same time if you really want to go

there count me in now JJ had been

looking forward to spending time with

Big Jake just the way they always did

but he thought Big Jake wanted to do

something so JJ did his best to play

along

as much as JJ loved the wild ride

he still missed just talking to his big

best buddy but BJ

later that day as the Sun set

JJ's parts were so wet that he couldn't

go to lightning bug lake with his best

pal I've just got to think of something

even more exciting for us to do the Jake

still didn't understand that all JJ

wanted was to have his quiet time back

with Big Jake so the very next day Big

Jim tried once again to take JJ an

exciting spectacular adventure of all I

promise

say so BJ big Jay couldn't wait to get

inside crystal camp he thought it would

be just the thing to make JJ's spirit

soar around noon the Sun rises high

enough to shine inside this cave the

moment its rays hit these crystals will

be bathed in a rainbow of color

meri that's great too bad it's so cold

in here

yes but the weight is worth it JJ watch

the Sun rose up to the level of the

caves entrance and as the sun's rays

touch the cave walls they lit up the

entire cave and a dazzling rainbow of

color

but just then the cloud suddenly rolled

in and covered the Sun then it began to

rain

well we'd better head back to the

airport and get drive

but by the end of the day

clouds had parted and the sunset on

clear skies once more and Big Jake and

JJ headed back to lightning bug lake

just as they did before JJ I'm so sorry

I've been trying to show you an exciting

time

but all my big plans ended up in

disaster no wonder you're bored

well it's just that I've heard you say

so to the other kids together too

I guess I didn't realize how much they

meant

you know for two good buddies like us we

should have been more honest and told

each other

[Music]

whatever we decide to do

[Music]

learned that sometimes it's the little

things you do with somebody that makes

all the difference in the world and he

and JJ also learned to always be honest

with each other both were good lessons

they never ever forget
