it was a sunny clear sky one morning

in terrytown but tracy barely noticed

as she raced home with excitement

i just flew over rivertown they finished

setting up all the rides for the

rivertown fair

we'll lie through

we're on vacation tomorrow and easy

o'malley promised we could all go to the

fair

i can't wait to eat all the cotton candy

rivertown fair again

oh sorry brenda but we're so excited

i know me too but remember since easy

airlines is closed tomorrow for vacation

we have

lots to get done today so let's get to

right we have deliveries to make

sure to do

okay everybody let's get started if we

hurry we can get everything done in

everyone was very excited about going to

the fair

and wanted to get ready for a day off

but the most excited one of all

was herky so herky hurry through his

first jordan

however up in the air once more herky

soon realized he was getting

dizzier all the time

upside down i gotta

just couldn't fly right side up anymore

he made his way back to the airport and

found a way to land

quickly because he didn't want anyone to

know what was wrong

nothing at all

i was just wondering have you

it's a little cold that planes catch

from time to time

why you know anybody who's got it

no no way i don't know anybody that's

got it

uh well if you ever meet somebody who

does have it

then you tell them that they need plenty

of rest

and no flying for at least one week

or else things will get even worse well

gotta go see you later

no i can't rest i can't let anybody know

i have

to the um herky was so afraid he'd

missed the big trip

that he ignored old oscar's wise advice

nobody will ever know

all right please deliver these five

crates of eggs to the terrytown

grocery store okay all right i'm going

to put them

in your cargo hold but be very very

careful

these eggs can break you can count on me

and that's exactly what happened

i'm afraid so herky i'm really sorry

maybe if you had rested right away you'd

be feeling okay by now

then you still could have gone to the

fair

that's okay herky next time you know and

you'll do the right thing

i'll go get some medicine you'll be fine

gosh herky i'm really sorry you can't go

to the fair

me too me three you'll miss the cotton

candy

and bobby for apples and the rice and

the other candy

and the food and all the candles

and today dream about what he was going

to miss at the fair

but later that day a funny thing

happened to the other planes as they

flew over terrytown

the first one it happened to was jj he

was making a delivery

flying along just fine when suddenly

[Music]

i feel dizzy

it happened to tracy and

even little snuffy

all come down

you always were green oh yeah right

herky after we saw what happened to you

we all knew we had to do the smart thing

and get plenty of rest

right so it looks like you're going to

have company after all

us and we'll all just have to go to the

fair

when we get better and so that's how

herky learned

that whenever he felt bad the best thing

to do was to tell somebody right away

before things got worse as for the fair

after everybody got better they went to

it after all

and just as jj had promised

they had the best time ever

now here's something we need to think

about rocks

not all rocks are the same see this

one's brown

this one's black this one's smooth

and shiny rocks can be little or

really really big but the biggest

that's right our a planet

rock floating in outer space rocks

think about it let's think about how

things

change a little caterpillar changes into

a beautiful butterfly

leaves that are green in the summer

change to other colors in the fall

the water in lightning bug lake changes

to ice in the winter

even people change see this little girl

it's me that's what i look like when i

was little

see how i've changed how will you change

when you grow up

think about it

have you ever thought about the sun when

it rises the day begins

then we can play outside some places get

lots of sun

like the desert other places get very

little sun

like the north pole when it rains the

sun hides behind the clouds

but when the sun comes out again it

shines on beautiful rainbows

maybe the reason smiling better smiles

is because the sun

makes the flowers feel so good think

about it

did you know that plants like these are

all around you

they grow in mountains near rivers

and even in hot hot deserts that cactus

is a plant farmers grow plants that we

can eat

where do plants come from they come from

seeds

like beans and they grow into all kinds

of plants

big and small plants
