[motor whirring]

[fake gagging noises]

[laughter]

I am going crazy in here.

[theme song playing]

NARRATOR: Coming up, a whole new Big Brother.

But first, highlights from the past week.

[laughter]

George.

It's o'clock, man.

We're drinking.

You coming?

What's going on?

It's o'clock. We're drinking.

Come on.

In the morning?

Yeah.

Bring a bun.

You don't take the wrappers off at Eddie's Barbecue School.

Oh, I'm sorry.

It melts.

Don't worry about the paper.

[interposing voices]

I love it.

[inaudible] yeah.

Oh, but it's worth it.

[purring noise]

It's worth it.

Oh, let me rest your head into my bosom.

[laughter]

Hope that'll work.

Yeah, thank God there's a lot of space there.

[laughter]

Baby.

Here, here, here, OK, OK, OK, one more time.

[interposing voices]

To Big Brother.

Smoke all of Karen's cigarettes, and then she's out.

Josh looks kind of g*y smoking.

[laughter]

You do.

You're totally h*m*.

[USING EUROPEAN ACCENT] How come I am so g*y now?

Tell me why.

Every man in America loves me.

Mm.

You are not a h*m*.

Please do not.

[klezmer jazz playing]

[inaudible].

Eduardo.

Yeah, go Eddie, go.

[cheers]

He's going in the pool.

[cheers]

Yes.

[clapping]

[roaring]

NARRATOR: On Monday, the houseguests received

their week-long challenge.

Six of them have just one chance at jumping rope

together, times in a row.

[interposing voices]

Wanna try it?

Sure.

You can do this.

I've never done this before.

When do you jump in? - Someone jump in.

Right when it hits the ground is when I run in.

So you run in quick, and then, boom.

Yeah, run in, line up, and then get ready to jump.

Come on, Cassandra. Get over to the right.

Cassandra, move over to me. Line up.

George, get over to the right, George.

Get over to the right. There you go.

- To your right, George. - Good.

- OK? - Good.

You're fine.

We've got room for one in front of Josh.

- Let's go, Hollywood. - Hollywood.

All right, troops.

Go, go, go, go.

Yeah, good job.

, , , , , , , , .

[dismayed laughter]

- Good job, guys. - OK.

And there was--

We can do it.

Just so we know we can do it.

[acoustic guitar interlude]

NARRATOR: On Tuesday, the houseguests

were given a challenge to honor Curtis

and Jordan with a comedy roast.

Welcome to the first ever Big Brother roast.

And tonight you're going to see us recollect on some

of our favorite memories, our favorite moments,

with both Curtis and Jordan.

First, I'll start with Jordan.

Jordan, I thought you were a pole

dancer, not a bipolar dancer.

[DRUM SET PLAYS A STING TO EMPHASIZE JOKE]

[laughter]

Curtis, your puddling skills--

not very good.

I am proud to be associated with such a fine lawyer.

You will be a fine member of the bar--

drinkers, that is.

[whistle sound effect]

You've been taking your prosecution job a little bit

too seriously, because, every night,

you've been prosecuting us with your snoring.

[vibraslap sound effect]

Jordan's a real triathlete.

She's tried Josh.

She's tried Brittany.

And now she's trying Eddie.

[laughter]

What the hell?

What?

This just in.

Jordan that has apparently been using the Red Room so much

that Big Brother is going to rename the Red

Room, The Red Room Lounge.

[drum set plays a sting]

Is it just me, or are you looking a little pasty tonight?

[trombone and whistle]

[laughter]

OK, Mr. Smartypants Stanford lawyer, I just want you to know

that your laugh will live on.

And, because of your mask on the wall,

our laugh will also live on.

[laughter]

Anyway, I just-- it wasn't that funny.

Anyway, most of the time, I only share my feelings

with the closest of friends, and you've

helped me deal with things.

We can't hear you, dog. Just sayin'.

Yeah, it was because you're laughing.

Oh, sorry.

Eddie.

Stop it.

Jordan, I got to tell you, in the beginning,

I kind of thought that you liked me

until you started asking me to put dollar bills in your thong.

[drum set plays sting]

Jordan, I just heard you were an exotic dancer.

All this time I thought you were a neurotic dancer.

[descending whistle]

[brass hit]

Oh my God.

[laughter]

No, but on a serious note, really, just good luck

to both of yous, and honestly, deeply,

from the bottom of my heart, if you

guys ever need a place to crash on Long Island,

come take my bed.

I'll sleep on the floor.

Good luck.

Thank you very much.

[clapping]

[slap bass interlude]

Do you think-- why do you think Eddie

decided to say something nice.

As opposed to something less than nice?

I don't know.

I have no idea.

But it pisses me off that he is totally disrespectful of me,

and then he gets up there and he says all this [muted],,

you know.

It was just like, you know, to what end?

He's been a real jerk.

They're just, like, really pissing me--

they're like two immature kids.

You know, and I I'm sick of it.

I'm so sick of it.

And they'll probably throw my a*s out.

No, they won't.

No, they won't, because they don't even know.

You know how guys are, Karen.

They're so oblivious, the men in our house.

The

What?

The men in our house.

Let's just all be girls here.

[laughter]

I'd like that better.

Doesn't that sound good?

Definitely in on that.

Place would be cleaner, we'd have less-- like you said,

less food to cook, less to clean up,

the bathroom would be clean.

Oh, grocery money would go so far.

I think I--

I think we got a plan.

[acoustic guitar interlude]

NARRATOR: Coming up, a whole new Big Brother.

But first--

For me, because I'm straight.

Straight, even though I act not straight.

I'm straight.

I think you act pretty straight.

[saxophone theme over rock band]

You know, me and one of my friends

talked about this one time.

I don't know why we talked about this,

but we said that it would be grosser for me--

like for us-- like, it would gross us out more to kiss

a guy than to be doing a guy.

You know, that sounds very strange.

Yeah.

No, it doesn't.

It doesn't, really. - No?

Unh-unh.

This is mine, right?

Yes.

Because kissing is really intimate.

That's what we were saying.

It's more intimate.

It's really intimate.

Yeah.

I mean, unless you're into that.

That's cool.

But, like for me, because I'm straight--

straight, even though I act not straight --I'm straight.

I think you act pretty straight.

You think I act straight?

- Mm-hmm. - Really?

Yeah, totally.

I'm just not afraid that I pick up things that

would be feminine, you know.

I don't care.

Like, paint my toenails, or put makeup on.

I don't care.

[drum fill]

NARRATOR: Ever since the roast, Karen's

been fed up with George.

You were so disrespectful, you little [muted]..

Nobody hear anything I said.

That was another thing thing.

Eddie and I were good friends coming in here.

So George latches on to Eddie.

So then I'm taking care of chickens,

he becomes Chicken George.

So then I'm baking bread.

George is now the baking queen.

What else can I do?

I started with the chickens.

From day one, I was so excited to have chickens.

Then, all of a sudden, he became real

involved with the chickens. Cool.

No problem.

And so then I started--

I see what it is.

Started working in the kitchen, now, all of a sudden--

He's working in the kitchen.

It just seems like everywhere I--

--you go, he's sure to follow.

Some things that I might not like about you are you.

But that has nothing to do with it, you know what I mean?

Because there's a lot of things people don't like

about me that is me, you know.

Good point.

Bad night for me, guys.

Bad night.

You guys set me up for that one.

You guys really care about old George, don't you?

I think she's still yanked at me.

So, in like two minutes, you can turn it down.

And that would be great.

I'll just sleep outside tonight.

Yeah, right, like we sleep in the same bed.

You have to be--

Hey, I thought a roast was supposed

to be a thing where everybody just kind of yells

and screams at one another.

Wrong show.

You're talking about the Jerry Springer Show.

What's going on, lady?

Nothing.

Oh, my God.

Are you OK?

[sobbing]

[WHISPERING] Oh, my God.

Sweetie.

[pop rock interlude]

Like, I feel weird now.

I feel, weird around Karen and George.

Now, I feel weird around Josh and Jordan.

It's like, God, half of the house I feel weird around.

I feel weird around George and Karen.

George and Karen, Curtis and Jordan, and Jamie.

And Jamie is trying to read me.

Like, I think that's her mission here,

is trying to read me, or maybe find goodness in me,

or try to make me be a good person.

Not that I'm not a good person, you know what I'm saying,

but I think that's what she feels our mission is.

And I'm like, try all you want, you know.

Fact of the mater is.

I walked in the way I am for a reason,

and I'll walk out the way I am for that same reason, you know.

I'm really liking Curtis now.

Yeah, Curtis is a good dude.

He's changed a lot in the past week.

I know.

I think being nominated has changed him a lot.

Mm-hmm.

The bad outweighs the good with Josh.

And I'm sorry to say that.

You know, he's a good guy.

He really is.

But in terms of him and his actions with you

and Jordan, and even with Jamie or whatever,

it's not going to fly too well with the American public.

I'm sorry to say.

I would think that he wouldn't get thrown out

if he got nominated, because--

Why?

--because guys get away with m*rder.

Guys will be like, yeah, my boy, playing the chicks.

Chicks will be like, oh, he just made a mistake.

Spanish proverb.

Dance to the music that is played.

[sighs] I don't want to dance.

Well, you have to.

Life is all a dance.

[pop rock interlude]

NARRATOR: Coming up, a whole new Big Brother, but first--

Saying something is wrong with g*y men or what?

Just for me to be attracted to.

[acoustic guitar playing]

Just random guy's genitalia does not do anything for me.

If it's someone that I like, different story.

It's funny.

I have no problem with--

Oh, it doesn't-- like, Playgirl stuff doesn't do

anything for me at all.

Nothing.

It's like oh no no.

Yeah, I don't like Playboy either.

It's because if I don't like the girl,

I don't want to see her naked body.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Hey, Brit, have you ever bought a Playgirl.

For, like, a bachelorette party and [muted]..

Not, like, for myself.

I'd buy a Playboy before I bought a Playgirl if I was

going to buy a dirty magazine.

What if I told you, Brittany, I'd buy a Playgirl

before I'd buy a Playboy?

To each their own.

Then why would you buy a Playboy

before you'd buy a Playgirl?

I don't think those guys are attractive at all

in those magazines.

What if I said I don't think those girls

are attractive at all in those magazines.

I'd call you a [muted] liar.

Yeah.

I mean, I wouldn't believe you, but, I

don't like those-- the guy-- plus, too, this sounds stupid,

but I always, like, thinking they're g*y anyways,

like, the guys in the magazines.

Saying something's wrong with g*y men, or what?

Just for me to be attracted to.

That's weird, because I don't think it bothers guys

to be attracted to lesbians.

No.

So neither one of you have had,

like, a g*y experience at all?

Never even came close.

Never even came close. You?

Never close?

Other than pissing on dudes in the showers, no.

OK.

If two girls do things to each other--

What's, do things to each other?

Yeah, what's, do things to each other?

It seems like it's socially acceptable,

and they can just be like, oh, I was interested.

I just wanted to try it, and they're still straight.

But if two guys do things to each other, I think, even once,

they're like, oh, my God, he's g*y.

Don't you think society looks at it that way?

Again, like--

I don't know too many guys that would

just say, I was experimenting.

[funk music interlude]

NARRATOR: The houseguests gather for banishment.

As soon as I announced who the banished houseguest is,

that person will have three minutes to say their goodbyes

to everyone in the house.

OK.

So is everyone ready?

The houseguest to be banished is Jordan.

[labored sigh]

Good luck.

Yeah.

Good luck.

Bye.

Take care of yourself.

Thanks.

Bye, Eddie.

It's been a pleasure.

Just take care.

See ya.

See ya later.

Bye.

Good luck.

Ooh.

Are you guys going to follow me out?

Oh, yeah.

Absolutely.

I can't control this.

Watch the cable.

Watch the cable. - OK.

It's--

We cool?

We will be.

She's just trying to break the door.

Oh, I see.

We have more room in her bedroom now.

[laughter]

I didn't even think about that.

Congratulations, Curtis.

Thanks, Dad.

That was good spade playing, man.

I'm glad to have more time.

This is going to be good.

You guys, this is cool.

I mean it's--

I mean, it's bittersweet.

But it's-- we all get along so well.

That's true.

Group hug?

[laughter]

Yeah.

[grunting]

NARRATOR: America Online is CBS's internet partner.

You can get to the Big Brother website

by logging on to BigBrother.com,

or AOL keyword Big Brother.

That's what I tell you.

[pop rock interlude]

NARRATOR: Up next, it's an all new Big Brother.

She's got you now.

You're in trouble.

That's not happening.

No.

I'm right here.

Listen, there's a lot of estrogen in here,

and I shouldn't be here.

[saxophone theme over rock band]

NARRATOR: Now, an all new Big Brother.

[interposing voices]

No, I'm over here on the floor.

Why don't you come lay across us?

Come rub my head till I go to sleep like you do with a baby.

I think we all want to so badly.

Or you can sit on Cassandra's bed.

Yeah, Cassandra will kick me in the face.

Come here.

No.

Oh, she's got you now.

You're in trouble.

That's not happening.

No.

I'm right here.

Listen, there's a lot of estrogen in here,

and I shouldn't be here.

So Eddie, do you know a joke?

Yeah.

Tell me a joke.

What do you get when you get a one-legged guy in a bedroom

with a bunch of girls.

What?

Trouble.

We knew that.

Shh, shh, shh.

Quiet.

I don't have a very good bedroom voice.

[WHISPERING] No, you don't.

It's so hard for me to talk in a bedroom voice.

Oh, there, you got it.

[WHISPERING] Why don't you shut the [muted] up?

Why are you anti-love bed?

[WHISPERING] I think you guys know I'm

not a very lovey dovey person.

Yes, you are.

[WHISPERING] No, I'm not.

I think you are, and you're faking it.

[WHISPERING] I think you guys are crackheads.

You've [inaudible] Hate will consume you.

Love will make you swell.

[WHISPERING] You're a crackhead.

You're a crackhead.

If I was Cassandra, I would take a pillow to each one

of your [muted] heads in the night

and smother the life out of--

Shh.

See.

Thank you, Cassandra.

You're sick.

All of you.

Cassandra knows it.

You're going to go sleep in the boys' room

[interposing voices]

He knew it.

He knew it.

Good night.

Good night.

Good night.

[slap bass interlude]

NARRATOR: George and Karen share their nomination concerns.

If it puts your mind to rest, I don't think you--

I don't think you have anything to worry about this next time

for sure.

You know when I told you guys the truth

last night when I said, I'm an open bullseye for stuff, like--

I don't think you are.

I-- at least, for sure, I don't think you are at this point.

Just from what I've heard--

conversations.

I think you need to--

I-- I know.

I know, Karen.

See, and I-- I'm prepared because I know, OK.

I know how I--

Because we all are, though.

We all are.

I really believe that.

But I, more than any of you here, just for--

Oh, I don't-- no no no no.

I don't think so at all.

I-- I-- I definitely--

I definitely think--

I think Cassandra is definitely more so than you.

And I think, at this point, Josh is, too, so--

Well, you have to keep me informed--

I will.

--on the day.

I think-- I think you're OK, though.

I don't think-- you know, I don't know.

I-- and I know how Eddie is, too.

So at most, it would be Curtis and Cassandra.

So I don't-- but that--

but I don't think that's enough.

So I think you're OK.

I think you don't have anything to worry about.

But like I say, Karen, is I know my weaknesses,

and in something like this, you know, I--

And I think--

I think you're-- I think--

I think you underestimate yourself.

You know, so--

I think you need to keep your chin up and just--

You know what I'm going to do?

Be-- be yourself.

That's all.

And I-- you know, it's gotten you-- it's gotten you this far.

I can't be--

I can't be nothing else, OK.

Don't try to be anybody else.

That's all I can do is--

what you see is what you get.

You take the screw-ups with me, and--

I think you're right on target with what people

are looking for, you know.

I think people want--

want more lighthearted.

They want more feeling comfortable around people.

And, definitely, you make people feel comfortable.

So-- so--

I don't--

But you just--

I think you should just relax and be-- be who you are.

Oh, I am.

Yeah.

I am.

Don't let it bother you.

No.

And you want to know the truth?

I am not the same with yourself, Karen.

Just make sure that you're prepared.

Oh, I-- I am prepared.

You know what I'm trying to say?

And I've-- I've felt that.

You know, I-- I--

I don't think-- more so now than ever, I'm not--

I'm not paranoid about it.

I'm not worried about it.

I'm-- I'm comfortable.

I am-- I am still who I am, and I

will always be that, you know.

And-- and if--

and if that's not the show that somebody is looking for, then--

then onward to the next step of my life.

That's the-- that's the way to look at it.

Yeah.

[acoustic guitar playing]

NARRATOR: Jamie is concerned about Karen's plotting.

You know, I had a talk with George last night.

Uh huh.

Because him and I were talking a little

bit, and I was uncomfortable with it.

Like, after everyone left, it was him and I,

and I started telling him I'm just not

comfortable when people start, you know, plotting or whatever,

and then--

and then everyone else came out there.

And then, at night, he was blown away

to sit out and witness everything

that was-- that Karen said.

He was just-- he didn't believe it.

And he acted like nothing was wrong.

And he came back in the bathroom.

He was like, whoa.

Do you know what I mean?

Uh huh.

Like, Karen, last night, who I--

I love.

But it's just-- it's--

the thing, OK, well you know, I don't know.

I mean, always talking about kicking people out, and trying

to band together, and trying to do all this stuff like that

is just negative energy.

I know.

And it, you know, it makes me feel uncomfortable just

being around it.

Yeah.

And then when it's-- when I'm laying in bed,

and it's going on in my room, it's, like, tough.

Like, I sit there in those conversations, and I'm like--

you know what I mean?

Yeah, there's always a fascination

by the conversation.

If someone wants to listen or whatever, but--

Of course.

I'm never going to walk away.

[laughter]

But like, what--

what must you be thinking--

I mean, you have to something like that's stupid or wrong,

or, like, petty.

You know what I mean?

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, no.

It is.

But, I mean, it's also not going to condemn

people for doing that.

I just don't like to see patterns and stuff.

And, like, I remember Karen talking about you last time.

And now she's talking about, you know, Josh this time.

I know.

And it just-- it just--

and I wonder, does that influence other people's votes?

You know what I mean?

Maybe.

Oh, I'm sure it does.

I mean, I'm almost positive I know

who voted for me last time.

But it was going to change how I felt about them.

Yeah.

And, as it turns out, I guess it won over Karen,

just me being me over the last week, you know.

Winning over, like what you just said,

and what she said last night, I just don't buy that.

I just don't see it as a, as a sincere thing.

Because if it was sincere, you don't need to say it.

Does that make any sense?

Yeah, I know.

I don't know.

I'm just having [inaudible]

The fact that, you know, that Karen says,

oh, I would choose Curtis over Eddie, you know, that's--

Why would you say something like that?

That-- that just-- that's the kind of stuff that--

And that's nice that she said that, and I'll-- and I'll take

it for what it is.

But it's like, Karen, Eddie, and George, I think,

had an alliance of sorts.

They did, definitely.

And I think that has sort of, maybe, fallen apart.

Starting to, yeah.

I know.

And whatever, you know.

And that's just-- time did that.

Been finding out who people are, and

getting sick of one another.

That's OK.

[guitar interlude]

NARRATOR: The houseguests try one more practice before

their noon jump rope challenge.

All right, listen, real quick, everybody got their--

[inaudible]

Voice on.

--got their mics on good and tight, because I know

Karen jumps and holds her mic.

I don't like that, personally.

I have to hold my mic.

Do something better with it.

What if you turn it the other--

[interposing voices]

All right. Are you guys ready?

- We're ready. - Are you guys cool?

- Cool. - Ready?

I was born cool, Curtis.

I-- I know I

[interposing voices]

The chicken man is ready.

I've got to loosen up the chicken leg.

Feeling good?

Well, if you're gonna-- if you're gonna screw up, this

would be the time to screw up.

If it makes you feel any better.

[bawking like a chicken]

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in?

Josh, grab a beer, and give us a spin.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in?

Holly, grab the camera, give us a grin.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in?

George, grab a chicken, and dance in the pen?

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in?

Britt, give a purr, and straddle the men.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in, Karen, grab

the food, and feed all the men.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in?

Cassandra will kick your a*s.

One, ooh.

- That was me. - It's OK.

That's cool.

It's not OK.

It is, too, because this is practice.

I-- I know. That's what I like--

[interposing voices]

Want to do another one?

It's :.

I jumped it like times.

That's my guess.

Say it again, Karen.

I said :.

OK. I'm going to psych myself--

Is that too loose-- does that feel too loose to you?

Hey, Curtis, :.

I'm where I'm supposed to be.

I know, but you know, the thing's been in the sun,

so it's stretched more.

Hold on.

Let me pull up a little bit.

Does that feel better?

[interposing voices]

All right. One second.

Time out.

You wanna practice, or are you cool?

Yeah, I was going to say.

Just sweep that real quick, because it--

Pull the mat over. It wasn't hitting the mad.

It was hitting the grass.

Sweep the mat, old man.

Sweep that leg.

You get one try on this challenge.

No problem.

Hi there, boss.

- All right, boss. - How are you guys feeling?

You guys feeling good?

[hooting]

[interposing voices]

It's a walk in the park.

Wish me luck, guys.

All right. Let's go, guys.

Let's go, guys.

Rock and roll.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in, slash grab

a beer, and give us a spin.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in.

Hollywood, grab a camera, and give us a grin.

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in.

George, grab a chicken, and dance in the pen.

Pants in the pen--

Cool.

It's OK.

Since you failed the challenge, you lose % of your

[interposing voices]

I don't know what I did wrong.

Don't worry about it.

Nothing.

You didn't do anything wrong.

Yeah, I did.

But I don't know--

Let's go.

Oh, well.

Wheat tortilla.

I knew it.

Thanks, guys.

I blew it.

I knew it.

Yeah.

- Or do you want to? - Oh, well.

Can we move the table?

Bruce, is anybody up?

I'll move it for you if you want.

We're going put it back

[interposing voices]

[saxophone theme over rock band]

NARRATOR: Brittany confides to Jamie about Josh.

It's just hard when I'm, like, looking at him,

and he, like, looks at me a certain way.

Like he-- like, I was looking at him when we were talking.

And he's like-- and I'm like, don't look at me like that.

Like, I just-- you know.

But I'm not an idiot.

And I feel bad, and I feel for him,

and I do think, maybe, he's just young, and immature, and naive,

and doesn't think.

He's so smart, though.

That's the thing.

Yeah.

I just don't know what else to do.

Like, I'm so tired of involving the whole house.

I'm sick of it, everybody else must be sick of it.

I just-- yeah, OK, it's out there.

I have feelings for him, and I don't want to.

[door closes]

But I'm not going to act on them.

I'm not going to do anything.

I'm sure the hell not going to jeopardize

my staying here for him.

You know, he is not worth me getting nominated

because of this [muted].

The thing that's tough is that you do have feelings for him.

And it's tough just to--

I mean, you can listen to everything Karen tells you,

and all that, but it's hard to just have those disappear.

Yeah, but-- but they have to, for my own sanity,

for my own well-being, for me to be happy in this house--

for me, for me they're going to have to go away.

I think as long as I'm just not alone with him, as long

as I don't cuddle with him, as long as I don't sit in a room

just him and me talking.

If it's just always in a group.

I'm just always going to be at the group, you know.

And that's what I want to be, anyway.

I want to be with the group.

I don't want to be off with one person all the time.

You know.

That would be weird, though.

So you would feel like you couldn't

even be in a room with him?

For a few days.

I'm fine, except when it's just, like, the two of us

sitting close, talking.

You know what I mean?

And it's not that hard to avoid that, you know.

And I'd rather--

I like our conversations better.

I like mine and Karen's conversation better.

So I don't think it's going to be that hard for me.

And I'm not like this huge, physical, sexual being.

You know what I mean?

It's like, I don't need that.

Yeah.

I don't know.

And I'm the idiot who has feelings for him.

How sad am I?

You shouldn't feel bad about that.

I mean, he is that type of guy where he's charismatic.

You're drawn to him.

I mean, he's so-- he's nice.

He's so smart.

He told me he scored in the genius level on IQ test.

He's, like, smart.

He's funny.

He's, you know, sensitive.

And he's all that stuff.

Well, it's like, either him or I have to go,

and I hope it's not me.

[laughter]

I think what Cassandra said is really powerful,

that the only power that any--

That he has is us.

Yeah, I mean--

No more googly eyes for me.

[slap bass interlude]

I don't want to hear anybody else's stuff.

You know, I don't care whether Brittany

and Josh are having a thing.

I don't care whether Josh is interested in Brittany

and Jamie.

They are adults.

They need to work that out themselves.

And I really, you know, when they come to me to ask

for advice, I try to give it.

But I try to do so without being partial to either side,

and without really getting wrapped

up in the craziness of whatever is going on, you know.

And I have done a very good job, I think, up until now,

of just not getting involved in the drama.

So I hope that I can continue to do that.

I don't care what they do.

It's fine.

As long as I can, you know, have a quiet corner to myself

and get a decent night's sleep, and not fight with anybody,

I'm satisfied, you know.

[guitar interlude]

[water running]

[chuckling]

It's a good thing.

You probably don't want to hang with me, man,

because I know I'm going to get the axe.

You are not. You are not.

Nobody cares.

I'm serious. I'd know.

I'm going after it.

Just don't hang with me, because I

don't want you to go down--

I'm hanging with you, no matter what you--

You don't want to go down with the ship, man.

Don't you even stinking worry about it.

I'll tell you what. - All that it--

I'm gonna make it ever worse.

--is one little think like that and you're sayonara.

No, it isn't.

But that's OK, you know.

That's-- you know, I just did-- and then I went in here--

Get your butt outside.

Get your butt outside.

We're going to go talk.

And, you know, did it like that, you know.

But--

I just want an excuse to smoke.

Come here.

You know.

Come here.

It's beating yourself up.

That will get you.

It's lack of self-confidence.

That will get you kicked out.

It has nothing to do with doing something.

Karen, I know--

It's not-- it wasn't wrong.

What you did was not wrong.

OK, but I know--

What's wrong is if you did something deliberate.

Yeah, but it-- it's the-- it's the competitive thing--

No, it's not.

--that goes along with this, and I understand.

George, I am the most competitive

person in the world.

And it meant nothing to me when you did that.

Yeah, but then, everybody has to sacrifice on account of--

Who's sacrificing?

Some-- well, you guys ain't going to get your pop.

Who cares?

I drink tea.

I like iced tea.

You know.

There's nobody who nominates based

on screw-ups or challenges, things like that.

It's always things that people do intentionally.

If anybody--

Wrongfully, and things like that.

--if anybody is going to be upset--

- Or acting bad. - --it would be me, right.

I'm the most competitive person here.

That's for sure.

[laughter]

And I guarantee I'm not nominating you.

I don't know what I did, though.

I think I stopped before I got into this-- this-- the rope.

Don't worry about it, George. It's cool.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if you--

But I just knew--

I knew-- I knew.

That's probably why it happened.

It's because you had decided you knew before.

That something like that would happen to me.

That's all right.

And I can do it all the time, but the one time.

[farting noise]

And I know that Teresa will watch on television.

She'll say--

George, it's cool.

Don't worry about it, man.

And the only reason why-- and the only thing that she

would say is, why is George beating

himself up over a stupid %?

Well.

It doesn't even matter.

I'm hot, but like I say--

I don't-- thanks, though, but--

You stay away from me.

I'm not staying away from you.

And it has nothing to do with--

- Yes-- - --no, it doesn't.

--it will.

I swear.

Because Karen, I know especially, men--

men are competitive people.

Now, I know--

I know without a doubt, Curtis does not give a [muted]

about that.

Men are competitive people.

And if-- and Eddie--

you think Eddie would do that?

I don't think so.

Eddie's a competitive person.

And I blew it.

Well, I don't think so.

Then Eddie's not very deep.

You don't need him anyway.

But I just--

I guarantee you that it has nothing to do with it.

Just keep up-- just keep being George.

Just keep being yourself, and don't beat yourself up on it,

because it didn't mean [muted].

But I'm just telling you, you got to cover yourself.

So you avoid me as much as you can.

You learned nothing from our conversation.

I'm just--

I'm not.

[interposing voices]

I'm concerned about you, because that's

what's going to-- - But you know what?

I'm not that superficial.

It doesn't mean that much to me.

If-- you know what, if they voted me out because I

talked to you, I would be--

I would walk out of here with pride.

I would.

It just-- I'm still going to talk to you.

You're still going to be my friend.

And everything's going to go on just like it was before.

[acoustic guitar interlude]

Basically, this is how I feel about Josh.

I have an attraction to him.

And I don't see it going away.

I-- you know, I, just for whatever reason,

am attracted to him.

I mean, now, it seems--

now, I think he's attractive, like, physically, where

I didn't at all the first, probably,

two weeks of the show, I didn't find him physically attractive,

and now I do, which is weird.

Because now, I look at him, and I'm like, oh, but he's cute.

Like, stupid girl.

And I think part of my problem is, is I--

I'm-- I have a lot--

oh, I don't want to cry in here.

[giggling]

Hang on, OK.

Part of the problem is my gut feelings

and my emotions don't match up with the person I want to be.

What I mean by that is I want to be

very strong, very independent, all that kind of stuff,

and I am.

On the opposite hand, there's this part of me

that, I want someone to take care of me.

I want to be in love.

I want to be head over heels.

Like, you know, just so swept off my feet.

I-- and I have these--

I can feel myself, at times, feeling

needy, or feeling dependent, or getting feelings of--

you know, like wanting to latch on to someone.

And I get so upset with myself, and so mad

at myself, because I look at clingy, dependent girls

as completely pathetic.

And I don't want to be one of them,

and I'm not going to be one of them.

So how do I not become one of those girls?

I don't have sex with the guy.

When I start feeling vulnerable, I

go on a trip with my girlfriends,

or I just bail, or I break up with them.

Like, I have this huge fear of losing myself.

And fear that I would start living for somebody else.

And having to, like, stay in a situation

where I am attracted to a guy that I would

deem not good enough on the outside world.

It's really hard.

Like, I don't have the skills.

And I mean, consequently, I want to vote him out.

I want him out of here, because I don't--

I can't deal, you know.

And that makes me go, God, you know.

Should I not vote him out, and have

him be here, so I learn skills?

And then I'm like, hell, no.

You know, you don't want this in your life.

[acoustic guitar interlude]

I just--

I-- like, I want you to know that if I don't come

around as often and I don't--

I'm not as physical with you as often --the reasons why.

It's because I don't like you any less, because I do.

It's just because I don't want to hurt you.

And I still feel exactly the same way, and everything else,

but, you know, I'm afraid that something will happen.

Well, how about this?

How about we just, like, make a pact

that nothing's going to happen, that we're

just, like, totally friends.

Yeah.

And then try not to be weird around each other.

How does that sound?

OK.

You know what I mean?

Because, like, if we know it's just friends--

And I'll try not to be attracted to you.

I'll just cut that out completely.

That can happen.

That-- see what I'm saying.

I know.

And you do the same.

Like, you're probably not attracted to me anyway.

You probably just like my personality.

God know why.

But--

No, that's what I'm-- like, I'm mad at myself for being

attracted to you, because, like, rationally, I'm like,

this is a screwed-up situation.

I still question your intentions, and your honesty,

and your integrity.

Which, it's weird that I'm still attracted to you, because like,

I would think I wouldn't be.

And it's weird.

Like, I think you're more physically attractive

now than I did before.

- That's bad. - You know.

- That's bad. - That's bad.

I know that's bad.

You're not supposed to attracted to guys that--

- I know. - You don't do that.

I know.

And the thing is, is I want to be friends with you.

Like, I want-- I mean, I want everyone in this house

to still talk to, and still--

That's how I feel.

But I also feel like, the closer I become to you,

the more isolated we become--

From the group.

- And I hate it. - I hate that, too.

And I don't want to feel like that.

And I know you don't want to feel like that.

So I said, we shouldn't do that to ourselves.

I know.

Or to them.

I know.

I'm sorry again.

I'm sorry, too.

This sucks.

But more than anything, I'm sorry that we created an odd--

I created an odd situation in the house with everyone,

and I don't want to do that.

I just want to go outside and play football.

Here's my thing.

I think that we just need to, you know,

Chill out.

Chill out, be part of the group,

and just don't look at me like that.

I'm not looking at you any way?

Yeah, you are.

Oh.

And just keep this in mind.

If you don't want to trust me, you don't have to.

It's up to you.

And also, you never have to prove anything to me.

I'm the one that has to prove everything from here on out.

You never lost my trust.

I lost yours.

You don't need to prove anything.

That's, like, the point.

That's the whole point.

There's nothing to prove.

Just be.

You know, you can never--

like, you will never, ever be able to prove

anything to anybody.

It's just being you and existing, which makes

someone believe something.

I mean, it's not--

any time you try to prove something,

it's going to backfire because it's not you.

You can't ever, like, consciously do

things to regain crap.

It doesn't work.

You're right.

[saxophone interlude]

NARRATOR: George is still upset about blowing the challenge.

What's involved with the voluntary exit?

That isn't fun what happened to me today.

I mean, that was--

you know, that was really--

I don't know what happened.

I just-- I just stopped a little too short, and I got

hung up in it.

And it was-- and that was all.

That's about it.

Basically, you know, it's I--

I dropped the ball.

Now I know how it feels when--

you know, you watch a game on football, and you see the guy,

you know, the pass is thrown.

And he's standing there, and he drops it.

And you think, oh, gosh, you know.

But you know, you don't know that situation until you are--

you know, you affect other people.

It's a one-shot deal.

You can't take that back.

And even though it was a stupid thing--

you know, the jump rope thing was

a stupid thing --I affected, you know, the rest of the people

living here.

You know, like, I worry--

I worry about, you know, Eddie, make

sure he gets enough food in him and stuff like that there.

And, you know, it's just the way--

it's just the way it goes.

Remember what I said, and I thought--

you know, when this wasn't--

you know, when it-- when it wasn't fun for me anymore,

when I affect other people, well maybe it's time

to give consideration to what--

you know, what are your options here.

NARRATOR: Will George choose the option of leaving

the Big Brother house?

Tune in Monday and find out.

[drum fill]

You want to do it once for fun?

[interposing voices]

Big Brother, Big Brother, won't you jump in,

slash grab a beer, and give--
