01x31 - Episode 31

Post by bunniefuu »

I wanted to stay for the experience.

I think I've gotten it.

Yeah?

I think this is as good as it's gonna get.

And, you know, like, why prolong it?

You know?

I don't think there's a chance of me winning.

Why don't you think there's a chance?

You have just as good of a chance as everybody else here.

I don't know.

I just see things differently than I used to see them.

You want to go?

Oh, I want to so badly.

Really.

[theme music]

ANNOUNCER: Coming up, a whole new "Big Brother."

But first, highlights from the past week.

On Tuesday, Jamie sought advice from Cassandra.

OK.

What do you think about the whole Josh thing?

Like, with what he told Karen and all that stuff--

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

- And, like, we talked about it. - Mm-hmm.

- And everything was fine. - You and he did.

- Mm-hmm. - OK.

But it was just kind of odd.

And, like, part of me feels like he's

just trying to play everyone--

Mm-hmm.

- --is the right word. - Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

But then when you're one on one talking to him,

everything is, like, totally different.

And it's just weird.

So, like, you get one signal from him when you're one on one

with him-- - Right.

Totally.

--and a completely different signal when you see

him interacting with others.

And it's not so much with me.

It's just with the whole situation

with him and Brittany, and just with everything.

It's just weird 'cause I'm so close with Brittany.

Mm-hmm.

And I just don't know what to make of it.

If I were in your shoes, I probably would just--

first of all, you've already made

it clear that your choice out of the two people is Brittany.

Right.

So you're always going to be loyal to Brittany.

Right.

That kind of lays out a path for you.

I want to maintain how I would normally

be in the outside world. - Yeah.

Which, I would never be caught dead, you know,

doubling pool rafting and laying on top of guys.

Yeah. Yeah.

- That's just not me. - Yeah.

It's just weird.

Like, it's weird when you're in this house and people--

and-- it's just odd. It's just a--

I know.

--totally dysfunctional environment.

I know. I know.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: On Sunday, the house guests receive

their next week-long challenge.

Welcome to the "Big Brother" pie-eating contest.

But first-- - Oh my gosh.

You got to bake 'em.

You guys must divide into two teams of four--

the raspberries versus the blueberries.

Each team must bake eight pies following the recipes provided.

[interposing voices]

Look at the pie crust.

Look at the pie crust. - OK, so--

[interposing voices] - One a quarter cups.

I use one and a half and I think that's--

That's huge.

And I have extra dough.

It's-- no way.

No way.

The raspberries will bake raspberry pies

and the blueberries will bake blueberry pies.

Then on Friday at high noon, the blueberries and the raspberries

will face off for a pie-eating contest.

Each person is expected to eat two entire pies--

- [sighs] - --but is required--

I can do it.

Shh, shh, shh.

--but is required to eat at least one whole pie.

Will that even fit in your stomach, a whole pie?

- [inaudible] - Three pints per pie?

- [laughter] - That's a shitload.

[interposing voices]

This is a challenge I can live up to here.

[laughter]

Three pints of blueberries [inaudible]

No way. No way.

Absolutely no way.

You must all decide how much of your grocery list

you will wager.

The team that finishes eight pies

first wins the opportunity to decide

that week's shopping list.

One pie is a hell of a lot of pie.

Yeah.

The total time allotted for all pies to be eaten is--

minutes.

[laughter]

Half a-- half a cup of sugar.

- All have to be eaten-- - Yeah.

- --with the eight of us? - In minutes?

In a half an hour?

- I can't do three or four-- - That's why.

But I could definitely eat one pie.

I can go two.

One more thing.

Since it's a pie-eating contest, that means hands behind backs.

Hands behind backs?

A full pie?

- How big-- how big is a pie? - You gotta eat like this.

- [inaudible] - No way.

Now way. Absolutely no way, guys.

You couldn't.

and / cups of all-purpose flour?

My kids did a pie-eating contest.

They ate one whole pie and puked in the pie plate.

I am not doing that on national television.

I will try my best to eat it.

We'll do %.

%. No way.

No way.

So, %?

- If that's what we have to do. - Whatever you guys decide.

%, Ed-man? %?

Yeah. If you guys say so.

I'll do anything. - OK.

It's the crust where you get ga--

where you start gagging. 'Cause your hands

are behind your back. - [laughter]

- And you eat the middle. - Like, you know what it is--

And then all of a sudden, you get to that crust.

And you're like--

See, I've done pie contests before.

- And it-- - I know I could do two.

And what it is, is you got this pie--

But three is, like, pushing it.

- --in front of you. - I felt so sorry for my kids.

The four of us would each have to eat three.

Yeah. And I can't eat three.

And you just go down.

And you eat mostly in the middle.

You don't eat the crust and everything.

You have to.

You have to eat the entire thing.

Your hands are behind your back.

Yeah, if we didn't eat, like, all of Thursday, or something.

They're not gonna--

I'm telling you, they're not gonna m*rder you.

Boy, we got a busy week ahead of us.

[laughter]

This is one challenge, you guys, I will smoke at.

[laughter]

[music playing]

Tell me.

ANNOUNCER: Eddie finally had a talk with Jamie.

Huh?

What's up with you?

You're weird.

You just act different around me.

And it bothers me because--

like, I try to think about it.

But then I think, like, why I came here and stuff.

Mm-hmm.

And I totally want to get to know everyone here,

and bond with everybody.

Mm-hmm.

And I feel like you're so distant.

Mm.

OK.

Well, here it goes.

All right.

It's not really that I avoid you or try

to make you feel uncomfortable. - Mm-hmm.

And I really don't aim to do that.

And I apologize if I do.

I do not want you to--

like, you know, like, I'll hug and kiss Brittany goodnight,

or whatever. - Mm-hmm.

And I wouldn't do that to you.

Not tonight.

Because I just don't want--

I just don't want you to take it the wrong way.

You know what I'm saying?

I'm not sure--

What would I take the wrong way?

I don't know.

And that's why I--

I stray away from you, more or less.

Because I wouldn't-- like, with Brittany,

there's-- bottom line, no--

nothing would ever happen between us.

With you, I feel there's a different boundary.

Because you are-- like, I could-- like, I could

honestly see myself, if I--

if I wasn't with Monica on the outside,

definitely looking to, well, pursue a relationship with you.

And from what I've seen from you,

I think that maybe you feel that too.

You know, like-- like, maybe-- I don't know.

I could be wrong. Maybe you [muted] hate me.

I don't know. - [snickers]

Maybe you hate me. I don't know.

But maybe on the outside, that there

could be something between us.

But I mean, not inside here.

But-- who knows.

Maybe even in the inside.

You know, I'm not in that situation.

Neither of us are right now.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: On Monday, there was tension

about the upcoming nominations.

Those who nominate are gonna feel guilty

and those who are nominated are gonna feel betrayed.

I know.

I mean, people have to realize that's how it's gonna be.

Yeah.

But I don't think they do.

No, I don't think so.

I think it's-- they're acting like this is, like,

Never Never Land, you know, like you don't have to face reality.

Right.

You know?

And you do.

There were points when I'm, like, kind of down,

as you know. - Mm-hmm.

I know. I know.

- I would talk to you-- - I know.

--and, I think, Jamie when I was down.

Mm-hmm.

But I think, you know, you said something yesterday.

You said that you have incredible coping mechanisms.

And I don't think everybody has that.

We may have some people who fall apart.

We may have some people who feel guilty about nominating.

We may have all of that.

Yeah.

You know, like if I get nominated tomorrow and I have

to leave next week, as much as I'm going

to be disappointed that I'm not successful, I'm not gonna--

Be all--

Be all stressed.

- --kittywompus. - It's a game.

Oh, yeah.

And somebody's gonna get hurt by the game.

You know.

[music playing]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Coming up, a whole new "Big Brother."

But first--

Well, who do you want to kiss you?

Anybody that wants to.

[laughs]

What if your husband wanted to?

- Mm-hmm. - He doesn't like to kiss.

So it wouldn't even be fun.

I want to kiss somebody that wants to kiss me back.

[theme music]

ANNOUNCER: Karen was down to her last cigarette.

Guess what I'm gonna do.

Huh?

Smoke my last cigarette.

That's the last one, Karen?

You betcha.

OK.

I'm waking up tomorrow morning a new person.

OK.

Isn't that cool?

Yep.

In a way, I'm excited.

There's a part of me that says, you know,

this is what it was all about.

Mm-hmm.

Should I have a ceremonial thing with it, you think?

- Yeah, we should-- - The last cigarette?

Yep.

Yeah, we should definitely, like--

Sing songs and stuff?

[laughs] - Nope.

Nope.

Leave me the hell alone so I can smoke every drag.

[laughs] - Enjoy it.

[laughs]

[music playing]

I should enjoy every drag, right?

Mmm.

[laughter]

Feel like I'm making love to my last cigarette.

[laughter]

I just smoked my last cigarette.

- [inaudible] - You're a non-smoker?

You know what's funny about that thing?

I'm a non-smoker.

Agnes is gonna help me.

[laughs] What, you gonna smoke Agnes?

- No. - [laughs]

I'm gonna carry her around every time I want a cigarette.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: On Tuesday, Karen talked

about life after "Big Brother."

I just started thinking about what I would want to do right

after I got out of here when I have something just for me,

you know?

I know what it is.

But it's not a possibility.

What is it?

I want to have a kiss.

[laughs]

[laughter]

- Oh. - Sorry.

- A good kiss. - A deep kiss.

- Oh, a re-- - Me too.

You do, too?

- Me three. - I just think that would be--

People!

[laughter]

--so awesome.

I want a passionate kiss.

[inaudible]

Well, who do you want to kiss you?

Anybody that wants to.

[laughs]

What if your husband wanted to?

- Mm-hmm. - He doesn't like to kiss.

So it wouldn't even be fun.

I want to kiss somebody that wants to kiss me back.

He doesn't like to kiss?

- He hates to kiss. - Yeah, but--

years and you don't get kissed--

Doesn't like to touch--

be touched.

He doesn't like his face touched.

How'd you get pregnant?

It's just a real--

- We did it without kissing-- - Whoa.

--probably, I'm sure.

Karen.

That must have been hard. 'Cause you,

like, had to suppress a whole--

I did.

--side of yourself.

I have.

This was scary, too.

Because whenever I talk to him and I tell him how I feel,

you know, and what I really need out of a relationship,

he gets real mad at me.

He goes, I'm so sick of hearing about this.

But I just--

I feel needy.

I want to be acknowledged as a wife that he would--

thinks is special. - Wants to [inaudible].

Yeah.

I want to think that he finds me sexually attractive.

Mm-hmm.

I want to know that he finds me

even a little bit attractive.

So what do you think's gonna happen when you get out?

Are you gonna file for divorce, or what are you gonna do?

Oh, yeah.

That's what I told him.

As soon as I'm finished.

Are you gonna date, then?

Or do you think you're just gonna be single?

Or-- - I do want to date.

Of course I do.

I would-- I think it would be--

I think just for the kissing alone, just--

[laughs]

Oh.

I'll be a kiss wh*re myself.

[laughs]

Oh.

Yay.

[music playing]

Again, I've seen a lot and done a lot.

And I don't fear, like, getting in a plane

and having the thing blow up or anything like that, you know?

I'm not afraid of heights or--

not even really claustrophobic.

But [inaudible] I don't know.

I just-- a lot of things I've seen.

And the only things that have been

there in the tough times for me are my family and my friends.

So I don't fear anything but losing them.

I lose them, I lose a part of me.

So hence, I'm losing part of myself.

Fear that I'm never gonna know exactly

what, like, real love is.

Like, never gonna be, like, meet someone, never really, like,

love someone and have someone love me

and have it be a fairy tale.

[laughs] And, um, fear of disappointing my parents.

I guess as I'm getting older, it's

the fear of not finding somebody and getting married and

settling down and all of that.

I mean, it's just because, I mean, I've been through life,

you know, years.

And I know I'm still young and all of that.

But as you keep getting older and still not

finding the right person quite yet, and you're like,

oh my god, you know, you're running out of time.

You're seeing everybody else find people.

I'm just-- it's not a real fear yet.

But it's something that I just have

started really to worry about.

Mine are-- one of them is similar to Eddie's, the fear

of loss of family.

In particular, you guys hear me talk about my mom all the time.

And she just retired a year and a half ago.

And I'm very concerned that she be

healthy and happy for a long time after her retirement.

She had to work for years.

And now she's free.

And I want her to be just able to enjoy.

So I'm, like, always holding my breath that her health is gonna

hold out, and that she's gonna be OK,

and that there'll be enough money

for her to do the things that she wants to do.

'Cause I don't think--

I mean, I can handle a lot of things.

But I don't think I could handle, like, losing her

before she had a chance to really enjoy just being free

and doing the things that she wanted to do, you know?

'Cause she's the one who made me the way I am now.

And I would hate to carry the guilt of her having invested

her entire life in my sister and me

and then her not having been able to enjoy her golden years.

So that's, like, a big thing.

I just--

I can't imagine losing, first of all, a kid, you know?

I-- that would be the most awful thing in the world.

I feel for parents that have had to go through that.

I can't imagine being normal after something like that.

And family.

You know, I'm real close to my family.

OK.

Well, the first fear I would be have is I have three daughters.

OK?

And I just hope that they follow in the right tracks.

And that's so hard to do, you guys, with the way

the times are with children, so on and so forth.

Because there's so many more different elements

out there than what I was growing up with that

there is to deal with.

OK?

You know, as I do do work at the schools and I see what goes on,

you know, with kids nowadays, with, you know, the gangs,

the pressures that they have, so on and so forth, it's not easy,

I don't believe, being a kid nowadays and growing up.

And stuff like that.

But that's mine.

I think George's main fear is having his daughters

meet someone like Joshua--

[laughs]

--and bringing him home, and saying,

Daddy, look what I found.

[laughter]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Coming up, on a whole new "Big Brother."

But first--

TERESA [ON PHONE]: --know, don't ever thinking about leaving

the house, George.

Stay focused.

You gotta go the distance.

[music playing]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: On Wednesday, the group

chose George to get a -second phone call from his wife.

JULIE: morning.

OK.

JULIE: So go-- go ahead into the bedroom.

[inaudible]

JULIE: And pick up the phone.

You already have Teresa on the line.

Your one minute starts right now.

Teresa.

TERESA [ON PHONE]: Hi, George!

Just-- just listen to me, OK?

OK.

TERESA [ON PHONE]: I don't want to say I miss you.

I want you to know how much I think about you, George.

I want you to be reassured all the plans you made

for us are working perfectly.

[inaudible]

TERESA [ON PHONE]: And every night at : on the computer,

I watch [inaudible] to send a message, George.

And, you know, don't ever think about leaving

the house, George.

Stay focused.

You gotta go the distance.

And you gotta finish summer camp.

Because Rockford and the whole country

supports you, George, and us.

If you doubt it, just pick up my card of coaching instructions,

OK?

And the kids love you.

They wish they could talk to you.

And you tell all the people in that house thank--

thank them for letting you talk to me.

George, we say here-- CREW: -second warning.

TERESA [ON PHONE]: --we got t-shirts that says,

keep George in the house.

[CRYING] Teresa, these people are so nice in here.

TERESA [ON PHONE]: I know.

But George, Katie had a baby girl.

And it's named Lily Katherine.

She had it yester--

[crying]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Later, the house guests were told

who was marked for banishment.

[music playing]

JULIE: George, zero.

Brittany, Eddie, Jamie, one apiece.

Curtis, two.

Cassandra, Karen, both of you have three nominations each.

And Josh, you have five.

So that means this week, three house guests

are marked for banishment.

And they are Josh, Cassandra, and Karen.

[music playing]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Karen still had no idea Jamie nominated her.

--figure it out, as much as you can figure out.

Well, I know.

I know who voted for me.

How do you know?

How do you know?

Because I don't think you--

either one of you voted for me. - Mm.

I know you didn't.

I know George and Eddie didn't.

So who's left?

I know I didn't.

[laughs]

[inaudible]

So now we're down to three people.

Huh. I got three votes.

Did Eddie tell you who he did? 'Cause I have no idea.

No. He didn't.

But I don't think Eddie would vote for me.

He never would before, anyway.

I mean, he said it over and over again.

I think it was Curtis.

Definitely Curtis, Cassandra, and Josh.

I think Curtis was real nervous when he came over to the table,

when I said, I-- now I know who voted for me.

And when he was real nervous, he was kind of shaky when he was

talking about his allergies.

He knows darn well I know it.

And I know-- I was sure Cassandra

would for multiple reasons.

Because of you and I, you know, hitting it off so well.

See, and she's been really buddying up with George a lot

lately.

It's a game.

This thing sucks.

I just-- for some reason, I can't see Josh voting for you.

Oh, I can.

'Cause he's made comments to me before about

how much he likes you, and--

Yeah, but did you not see Cassandra working on him?

She's been working on him all week.

She's been going up to him when he's been by himself.

She's been working it.

She knows what she's doing.

I'm in a group of people that I voted

for them and they voted for me.

[laughs] Isn't it wild?

Mm.

Well, you'll definitely have to get somebody

else in the love bed with you.

[laughs]

No.

No one can replace you.

Are you're not even leaving.

You're not leaving at all.

I wouldn't even think about it.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Eddie consoled Karen.

You might think you know.

You might know you know who voted for you.

I know I know.

All right.

But again, you're not positive.

You haven't seen the tapes. You know what I'm saying?

You're not positive.

Did you vote for me?

No.

Then I know I know.

[laughs]

I know Jamie didn't.

I know-- I know--

I know for a fact that Brittany didn't.

I know for a fact that George didn't.

That leaves three people and I got three votes.

Let me guess.

Mm-hmm.

The way I see it is, we all knew this coming in.

Oh, yeah. I know.

I agree.

And what you need to do is you need to step back

and you need to look at everything.

And you need to say, well, OK.

I'm not playing a game, though, Eddie.

I'm gonna-- - No, I know you're not.

- --go kiss everybody's a*s-- - I know you're not.

--so that they won't vote for me.

I'm not asking you to.

OK.

You should know that from me.

What you do is you step back and see where you are.

And be like, OK.

Yeah.

This is how it is.

You know?

And you can't do nothing about it.

And again, it's out of your hands.

These people in here can't vote you out.

No.

The people outside have to see that--

I know.

--and they have to vote you out.

I'm telling you right now, they're not gonna.

And obviously, I must be a little controversial,

or I wouldn't have gotten three votes.

Oh, well.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Loudmouth Eddie meets his match.

[barks]

[chiquita barking]

[chiquita growling]

Oh, no!

Eddie!

[laughter]

Eddie, leave the dog alone.

She's standing here growling at you.

Poor baby.

[chiquita barking]

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Your bark's bigger than your bite, baby.

Don't write checks your a*s can't cash, dog.

Oh, no.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: The nominations are in.

And Josh, Cassandra, and Karen have

been marked for banishment.

Now you get to decide who will stay

and who must leave the house on Wednesday night.

Call --- to cast your vote for banishment.

It's $. a call.

In Canada, the number appears at the bottom of your screen.

Up next, it's an all new "Big Brother."

What's the benefit of leaving and not

waiting to see who's banished?

Mm.

Oh, no.

I'll wait till then.

But I'm hoping I'm banished.

Why?

Because then I don't have to go through this again.

[music playing]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: And now, an all new "Big Brother."

Curtis is convinced that Karen thinks he nominated her.

You know?

It sucks 'cause I feel I have a very

good relationship with her.

You did.

And so it kills me not to be able to comfort

her when in her mind, I'm the source of her discomfort.

Yeah, I know.

You did have a good relationship with her.

And that's what concerns me in my own situation.

Because we had our morning bonding and thing that we did.

Right.

But I think that kind of goes out the window

when somebody's so hurt.

And I'm so sorry.

Because I think she's so terrific.

I love her. She's great.

Yeah.

I think she's so terrific.

She is really competitive.

Mm-hmm.

And despite protests to the contrary,

she was here to compete.

Mm-hmm.

Absolutely. 'Cause we know we have to do this.

I know.

And it's the responsibility of the nominees

not to stress everybody out.

From the moment they announced, like,

that it would-- two people had gotten--

nominated the following four, she was like,

oh, I know who it was.

I'm like, really?

I'm like, I didn't.

I mean--

Mm-hmm.

We have the power--

To make this OK.

If we want to sit--

we can sit around and be looking at each other

and being suspicious and untrusting of each other.

Ah.

Or we can say, it's a game.

- I know. - You know?

- I know. - I knew you had to do it.

Somebody had to get nominated.

Mm-hmm.

You know?

Because I have enough faith that everybody here

is good-hearted and rational.

I know.

I know.

But you know, once you do damage,

once you say mean things to each other,

then it does become difficult down the line

to forget and bury the hatchet.

You can't take certain things back.

Yeah. - You can't take things back.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Josh has been in a funk

since he was marked for banishment.

JULIE: And Josh, you have five.

[music playing]

[SINGING] No hard feelings here.

I'll give up.

Things you said, you don't mean 'em anyway.

When you come down on me, are you

really coming down on yourself?

Down on me.

Down on me.

How come you're not talking to me?

I'm talking to you.

You're not talking at all.

I'm talking right now.

No, you're not.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Brittany is distraught about Josh's hurt

feelings.

Mm.

He hates me.

Mm, I don't think so.

[inaudible] does.

Mm, think so.

He's hurting.

Maybe.

[CRYING] It's totally because of me.

It's not totally 'cause of you.

Come on.

What you gotta do is you gotta be strong for Karen.

Don't worry about Josh.

Josh'll be all right.

I just don't think we should have to know the number.

I think that's what hurt.

It's like, if they don't say the number,

then you can say that it's only that three people.

You know what I mean? But if--

[inaudible]

--you know, like, the whole house--

Don't worry about it.

It's only saline.

Brittany, Brittany, Brittany.

I didn't mean for the whole house to not like him.

It's like, if I hadn't said anything, like,

if I hadn't said that I kind of was thinking about--

Now, who knows.

Maybe if you hadn't said anything,

maybe the two people up for banishment

would be me and Karen.

You know what I'm saying?

Or you and Karen.

You know what I'm saying?

[inaudible]

I just still feel bad.

Like, I feel like--

I know, I know.

This sucks.

[theme music]

ANNOUNCER: Karen still thinks Curtis

nominated her for banishment. - Oh, no.

I'll wait till then.

But I'm hoping I'm banished.

Why?

Because then I don't have to go through this again.

Maybe you wouldn't.

Maybe you wouldn't get nominated next time.

I just don't want to even nominate.

When it comes to selling myself, or--

you know, I don't play that game, you know?

I can't play that game.

But if you're not the one banished,

you're going to be not banished because of you.

I mean, they-- they're showing you.

You know what I mean?

So if you're the one that stays in the house,

you're staying in the house 'cause you're you.

You're not staying in the house 'cause you're playing a game.

There are people that are playing games for housemates

to not nominate them.

And I don't play that game.

So I would mean that I would have to go through that again.

And I'm not--

I don't want--

I don't want to deal with that.

If you're playing games and you're seen as somebody who's

inconsistent or lying or deceitful,

the final check on you is the public.

Yeah.

And the way you conduct yourself at all times,

the public's watching.

So the way you handle your nomination,

or the way you handle who you nominate,

and everything like that, I mean, just be you.

I mean, you have good relationships here.

And I mean, I would love for you to stay.

I mean, I just hope that that's what

you can do with-- if you have six days left,

or you may go the whole distance.

[sighs]

Look at this.

There you're brown and I'm red.

On our legs, you were red and I was brown.

Yeah.

Isn't that weird?

That is totally weird.

[music playing]

I mean, I think it's kind of unfair for her to condemn me.

[LAUGHING] And even more so for something I haven't done.

But I think actually being nominated

may reveal something about somebody's character.

And I refuse to judge her yet.

Because emotions are high.

And, you know, she--

I know she feels things more intensely than many.

And I also know she's in a-- you know, she's--

she has a lot of feelings that I couldn't possibly comprehend.

Like, as patient and as caring and as kind as I think I am,

it will have limits, I suppose.

She can't even look at me in the eye right now.

And she's civil.

And she'll respond to things that I say to her.

But she actually, in a group, will never address me,

never talk to me.

It means, like, supposedly the relationship

that she and I had doesn't matter anymore, that it's fake,

and it was meaningless, and that, like, the feelings we

had, like, you know, the caring, and the enjoyment, and all

the fun, is all thrown out the window.

I mean, I feel slighted.

And I feel it's unfair.

But I'll wait it out and see how she reacts.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: Brittany mistakenly thinks Curtis nominated her.

And she still doesn't know Jamie nominated Karen.

It's weird.

Like, this whole house is weird.

Karen is so upset.

Yeah.

And the thing that--

OK, if she's, like, already decided what three voted her,

and all three of those people she voted.

So I don't understand why she's so upset.

You know what I mean?

Right.

It's tough, though, like, the whole way that they

switched it to, like--

Mm-hmm.

And it's weird.

Because it's so easy, like, 'cause I

know so much, to know who did.

Mm-hmm.

Oh, I know.

I know it was Curtis that voted me.

And it's like, it's weird.

Maybe it's just 'cause it's only one vote.

I think it was Eddie that voted me.

I wouldn't be surprised.

And I don't why.

I don't know why either.

It's so weird for me to be around him.

And it shouldn't be. - Yeah.

I totally adore him.

And we get along so well.

Yeah.

And I think it's just because--

and we had this long talk about how he's

like, yeah, you know, I would totally date you,

and all that stuff.

And that's weird.

And blah blah blah.

Do you think I should, like, try to talk to Josh

or not talk to him?

He's very, very smart.

And that's why I have a hard time, like,

understanding his response to being nominated.

Curtis totally set a precedent in terms

of when you're nominated. I mean--

Mm-hmm.

--you only have a certain amount of time here.

Have a blast.

Enjoy the people that are here.

Make them-- you know, we had a blast with Curtis.

Yeah.

The week he was nominated was the most fun I've had with him.

Yeah.

I think I'm a little bit hurt about him being the one that

voted me 'cause I felt like we've got-- we

got so close after, you know?

The thing about it, though, is you just never know.

He may not have.

Yeah.

And Eddie may not have voted me.

I don't know.

Yeah.

I think Cassandra's definitely handling it the best.

Oh, by far.

I really like her.

I do, too.

If Karen stays, that's a--

you know--

It's gonna be weird.

No matter who leaves, it's gonna be weird.

Yeah.

It's really gonna be weird. 'Cause there's-- two

out of three are taking it really, really bad.

Yeah.

So at least one of them will be here.

Yeah.

[music playing]

[music playing]

How can you be OK without talking about it,

without talking about how you feel and stuff?

That's just how I work.

That's me.

Me and Curtis were talking about that earlier.

But don't you have questions?

No.

None.

The only person I questioned was myself, not the people

out there.

Don't worry about me. I'm good now.

I promise you.

And try your best not to look at me any differently.

I'm the same damn person.

Look, it's me.

See my smile?

See?

That's right here?

[laughs]

[inaudible]

This is an opportunity for me to be better as a person.

So I'm not going to go out and try

and treat everyone differently.

What was it that changed?

What made you change your feelings

from this morning to now?

That's between me and myself.

You gotta keep some things quiet, to yourself.

[music playing]

This isn't working out the way I thought it was gonna.

Mm-hmm.

Thought everything would be all hunky-dory

and people'd be smiling as they got voted out.

No, but I thought I would know who was real and who wasn't.

Mm.

I thought I would know who valued me as a person

and who was just tolerating living with me.

I thought I would know who cared about me and who doesn't.

I thought I would know who I mattered to.

And I don't.

And I'm crying.

See, I don't wanna cry anymore.

I'm just confused.

I don't want to eat a pie tomorrow.

And I don't understand you sometimes.

Like, you say things that are different sometimes.

And I don't know what you mean by 'em.

For example?

Like, at one point you said that if, like,

you weren't with Monica, never met Monica, totally single,

whatever, Jamie is somebody that you could see, like, hooking

up with or dating or something?

Mm-hmm.

And then on a different day, you'll say, you said to me,

oh, girls like Jamie are a dime a dozen,

or something like that.

Like, they're two totally contradictory things.

[laughs]

So what the [muted] are you saying?

It's funny, 'cause all those examples you just said,

one of those upon which I said was the truth.

And one of those upon which I said was totally false.

Now, it's up to you as an individual, and whether

or not you know me, to know which one is the truth

and which one is bogus.

That's your job.

How am I supposed to know that?

That's your job.

You're supposed to know me. - That's not my job.

That's your job.

How do I know you if I don't ever get anything that says?

Mm.

So-- - Hey.

- I hate to-- - What's the matter?

I hate to spell things out for you.

I just can't sleep.

- I'm gonna get my mic. - OK.

Bye.

Oh, I don't have mine, either.

Did you get any sleep?

Did you sleep at all?

Or--

Must have.

I started getting-- my heart started racing.

Why?

The idea of leaving.

I want outta here.

I want out so bad.

I mean, I want you to stay here.

And I'll be so sad if you leave.

But I'm not gonna think less of you or think you're a quitter.

I just-- I just--

I'm just, like, ready to see it--

see it end.

You wanna go?

Oh, I want to so badly.

Really.

I just-- you know, before I said I wanted to--

I wanted to stay for the experience.

I think I've gotten it.

Yeah?

I think this is as good as it's gonna get.

I don't think there's a chance of me winning.

Why don't you think there's a chance?

You have just as good of a chance as everybody else here.

I don't know.

I just-- I just see things differently

than I used to see them.

At times, I'm feeling totally loony here, you know?

I just-- and the idea of not seeing my kids.

I want to see them.

I want to hold them.

I want more than what I had.

That wasn't enough for me.

You don't know how hard it was to give George that phone call.

Only-- the only reason why it was easy

is because I know all I would have said was, I love you,

I love you, I love you.

Oh, I'm too volatile.

I'm too crazy.

I'm just, like, too--

too unsettled.

And it gets worse.

And it's getting worse.

I know personally I would like for you to stay.

I would. You know?

I hope you know-- again, I'm not worried about when

it comes down to [inaudible]--

Do you want me to tell you something?

And can I be blatantly honest with you right now?

Blatantly honest with me.

I can be blatantly honest with you?

Yeah.

This is me you're talking to.

I'm sorry.

That makes me crazy.

Totally makes me crazy.

You know who I'm talking about? - G-man.

Yeah.

He makes me freakin' nuts.

I could see that.

[sighs] I just--

you know, I like-- I like--

- I know. - --goofy.

- I know. - I like silly things.

I know exac--

He's [muted] an idiot sometimes.

I know.

He drives you crazy.

If I thought I was gonna hear one more cluck, cluck, cluck,

I was gonna k*ll somebody.

[laughs]

I'm serious.

You know, I used to think I was such a nonjudgmental person.

Uh-uh.

Sorry.

[laughs] I'm not cool at all.

[laughter]

Oh, I love you, Brits.

[laughs]

I gotta give my Eddie a hug, too.

Mm.

Love you, Karen.

- Love you, too. - You're good.

Don't change.

You'll be OK.

Mm.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: The marked house guests

are allotted seconds each to plead

their case to the viewers.

Jamie gives some last-minute advice.

Cassandra, what you said to me last night was, I think,

great for the public to hear.

You know?

And just that you want to stay, and that you're such a--

I mean, you're such a part of the group

in so many other ways.

You know?

I would talk about that.

I think it's important that the public

knows that you want to stay. - I know.

- Yeah, I agree. - I know.

--which is very different than saying--

- I agree with that. - --please keep me here.

Yeah. I agree with that.

It's saying, you know, I really--

- OK. - Yeah.

OK.

Definitely that you want to stay.

Karen, I think two things.

I think that if you can enjoy yourself by staying here,

that's important.

And I think-- I want you to stay.

And I think you should stay.

On the flipside, I think that if you know you're going

to be miserable, you probably--

if I knew I was gonna be really miserable,

I wouldn't want that to happen on TV.

[camera shifting]

Hello, America.

I'm not going to sit here and talk about how much I think you

should keep me in the house.

I'm going to tell you why I believe

I want to be in the house.

I really want to stay here and continue

to spend time with this great group of people.

I've really enjoyed hanging out with them

and getting to know them over the last six weeks.

And I think I've done a good job of forging relationships

with each one of them.

I'm not part of any particular group.

But I really have enjoyed being with them.

I also try to help bring stability to the house--

CREW: Time's up.

And-- OK.

[camera shifting]

You know what?

Most of the time, I'm in school, and I'm

working every single day, and during my summers

off, I'm taking internships.

In here, everybody says there's emotional highs

and lows and everything else.

But this isn't as bad as it could be out in the real world,

definitely.

And I'm just having a great time here.

And so I'm just here for, like, every American

that's sitting at home going, you know what, damn it,

I wish I could be on TV.

And so I'm going to enjoy my time here.

So as long as I'm here, that's-- that's what I'm going to do.

So if you want to take me off, I'll be home.

And I'll be working again.

But I'm having a good time here.

So if you want to let me stay, let me stay.

Either way, it's cool with me.

CREW: That's time.

[camera shifting]

My kids are my number one priority.

You've probably seen them in interviews.

If my kids act like they need me,

then I beg of you to banish me.

I am very homesick for them and I--

probably % of me thinks that I should be banished

so that I can see them.

But if they want me to be on here, then--

I guess it's up to you.

That's it.

[laughs]

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: It's the blueberries versus the raspberries

for this week's challenge, the pie-eating contest.

The first team to eat eight homemade pies wins.

The house guests wagered % of their grocery allowance.

Only the winning team gets to decide what items

to buy for the entire week.

, , , , , , .

[music playing]

[interposing voices]

- Go, Eddie, go. - Let's go, Curtis.

Go.

The human pie-eating [inaudible]

Gross. Gross.

Go. Go.

Go, Eddie.

- I gotta swallow. - Go.

[laughter]

[inaudible]

Good. That's good.

[bell ringing] - Go, Ed, go.

Go. Go.

OK.

Oh, Eddie's on the second one?

Are we as good as that one?

Yeah, you're every bit as good.

[bell ringing] - Go, go, go.

- Sucks. - Sucks?

Sucks.

Sucks that bad?

No, it's cool, man.

[laughter]

Don't look at him if he pukes.

You'll never be able to eat.

[moaning]

[inaudible]

You OK, Eddie?

Yeah [inaudible] two seconds [inaudible]

- [inaudible] - [inaudible]

[laughter] - OK.

Yeah? [bell ringing]

OK. Go.

Give me a third.

Eddie, why don't you switch and let me eat--

- Let some-- let George eat. - All right.

You-- so you start there. Start here.

- OK. - That's all.

I'll finish bagging this one. - Go, George!

[laughs] - Go, George!

Come on, George.

[screams]

[laughter]

[inaudible]

That is so not right.

- OK, done. - Way to go.

Gimme another one. Gimme another one.

[inaudible]

Here it comes. Here it comes.

Sit down.

Sit down, Sparky.

Water?

[laughs] I think he's having a good time.

- Are you gonna puke? - OK, done.

- Gimme another one. - That's good.

Good job, Curtis. Good job.

That's done. [bell ringing]

- [screaming] - All right.

Curtis is at three.

All right, Josh.

Eat 'em, chicken man.

Want me-- want me to turn it?

OK, done. [bell ringing]

- Go, George. - All right, George.

- Brittany, get in there. - Come on, Brit.

Brit, eat the pie.

Move it all around with your face, Brit.

Brit, get your face all over the place.

There you go. - All right, Brit.

You're doing good. - OK.

[interposing voices]

[vomiting]

There you go.

[laughs] Oh my god.

Come on, chicken man.

Keep it up.

I just--

- [vomiting] - [LAUGHING] All right.

[LAUGHING] Oh my god.

You're [inaudible] puking, man.

Come on, Brit, let's go. Yes.

That's how you do it.

That's how you do it, Brit.

What's Brit on?

She's on, like, four, or something like that.

[interposing voices] - OK, done.

[bell ringing] - All right.

- How we doing on time? - Let me-- then we'll see what--

You did as well as Brit did. That's good.

We got minutes?

I feel like I'm gonna throw up.

Come on, Cassandra. Let's go.

- It's OK. - Come on, Cassandra.

Cassandra.

[vomiting]

[laughter]

I am so drinking with you when I get outta here.

- I'm not even full, Eddie. - [inaudible].

I'm still going.

You're not even full?

- Nah, I'm not full. - Come on, Cassandra.

You're almost there, baby.

[inaudible]

- Two more bites, Cassandra. - Yeah.

All right. Good.

Done. [bell ringing]

- Way to go, Cassandra. - Good job, Cassandra.

That's it. [interposing voices]

- Yeah. - OK.

- [inaudible] - Awesome.

[bell ringing] - Wanna k*ll this one.

- Way to go. - OK.

My turn? - Here we go, Karen.

- Yay, Karen. - Go.

Go. Go.

- Oh, god. - [inaudible]

It doesn't even look like I've eaten anything.

- Let's go, Karen. - You good?

Nah, no, no. I'm not done.

[gags] - OK-- oh, you're done.

You're good, Eddie. You're good.

That's so done. You're done with that one.

How about one or two more bites.

- [inaudible] haven't I? - Enough.

Enough. Just one more.

One more. That's good.

- Come on, George. - Oh, that is so done.

OK, done. [bell ringing]

- Woo-hoo. - God.

Don't kiss me. [laughs]

- Hurry, George. - [inaudible]

[inaudible]. Hurry.

- [inaudible] - Oh, yeah.

She's eaten a lot.

[interposing voices]

[coughing]

It's all or nothing, man.

- [inaudible] - [inaudible]

- Done. - Done.

[bell ringing] - Woo!

Team raspberry!

Good job, Jamie!
