NARRATOR: Previously, on "Big Brother," tension in the house

was at an all-time high, as houseguests speculated

whether or not Gerry would exercise the power of veto

to save Lori or Marcellas from eviction.

He's got a tone of power.

NARRATOR: Meanwhile, Gerry was growing

closer to both nominees.

Sweetheart, the minute you opened your mouth,

I knew who you were-- you know.

I need a hug.

"Mwa."

NARRATOR: Josh urged Gerry to maintain his position

in the alliance of six.

There's a strength in numbers.

NARRATOR: Gerry later told Danielle

he believed Marcellas was nominated

for the wrong reasons.

Yeah--

NARRATOR: But Danielle saw it differently.

I don't think that has nothing to do with the tea in China,

frankly.

NARRATOR: Josh was certain Gerry would

stay loyal to the alliance.

I don't think the man is dumb enough to use the power.

NARRATOR: But Gerry shocked the House.

Marcellas, I'm going to veto your nomination.

NARRATOR: And the veto forced Lisa

to nominate another houseguest for eviction.

Amy, I'm going to have to put you up.

Yes!

Another side of you, Gerry.

All right.

Clearly, Gerry is a marked man at this point.

NARRATOR: Now, the nominees are Amy and Lori.

Find out who will be the first houseguest

evicted from the Big Brother house tonight,

live, on "Big Brother ."

JULIE: Good evening, and welcome to "Big Brother ."

It is day inside the Big Brother house behind me.

There have been a lot of new developments

since Lisa was voted Head-of-Household last week.

Her biggest job was to nominate two houseguests for eviction.

She chose Lori, the divorced mother from Superior,

Wisconsin, and Marcellas, the fashion stylist

from Chicago, Illinois.

But Lisa's decision was overturned

a few days later when a new twist was thrown into the game.

The Power of Veto was introduced.

And Gerry, the teacher from Shadow Hills, California,

won the privilege to save one of Lisa's nominees.

Gerry took Marcellas off the chopping block,

forcing Lisa to choose another nominee.

And tonight, Amy, the -year-old Southern

belle from Memphis, Tennessee, has

joined Lori in the hot seat.

In the next hour, one of these two women will be evicted.

And later, another guest will succeed

Lisa as Head-of-Household.

The last minute change of nominees

has thrown the Big Brother house into turmoil.

Over the last hours, it's been

a scramble to strengthen old alliances and form new ones.

And while Amy and Lori have been maneuvering to stay

in the house, Gerry, in an effort to,

quote, deal with his own demons, has placed

himself in the line of fire.

I will leave this house a richer man than I came,

whether or not I get a dime.

The moment I got that mantle handed to me--

First.

- Now crown you the-- - Rr.

--first--

It's cardboard.

--Power-of-Veto champion.

It was like God went, boom!

That's what you were meant to do it.

I was willing to sell you out, because you

were different, before I had even gotten to know your soul.

What we're thinking right now is, when it comes down to it,

it's best to get the most negative energy out of

the house as early as possible.

OK, my thing is I think we should concentrate

on getting Marcellas out. - Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's a beautiful confession.

That's a manly confession.

It has nothing to do with pumping iron.

It has nothing to do with kicking a*s.

Nope. Nope.

Nope. Nope.

It has become a morality play.

It's become-- - But--

--good versus evil.

It's become "Touched by an Angel" versus "Baywatch."

But you-- haha!

When I first moved into the house,

I don't even want to say that there

was an alliance right away.

I think it was, more so, an agreement.

There was an early agreement.

And the first one were the six people

who climbed out of the tree.

Since we're all in agreeance on that and we do want to get

the most negative energy out first--

and obviously, if there's six people together,

it's going to happen.

That switched a bit, as Amy was replaced by Roddy.

Roddy, here's the deal.

[inaudible]

The Southern belle thinks she's in on this.

Yeah.

This is a competition.

This is the six votes that should be controlled.

Everybody wants to be wanted.

She's--

Is that what you feel like?

That's what I feel like.

Everybody wants to be one of the popular crowd.

[WHISPERING] I won't be going the way I want to go--

[inaudible]

--but I'll be doing it for the sake of the group.

I'm just like, "whooph."

I'll do whatever you want me to do, as long as you

keep me a member of the click.

[WHISPERING] Yeah.

Gerry stepped into a nice little group.

And he's not really like us.

He's-- he's-- I mean, I almost trust,

like, Tonya way more than him.

Yeah.

This is where it gets interesting.

We were in the hot tub late night three nights ago.

And we more or less were like, hey, let's stick together.

And Gerry was in on it.

As of week six, if I had it my way,

Roddy, myself, and Josh are in the house with you three.

Tonya pretty much came in and took Gerry's place, which

is good for Chiara and I, because that

evened out the girl numbers a little bit more.

When it's the six of us, what are they going to do?

They'll stick out for each other.

It's clear the girls are going to stick together.

It'll be the girls versus the guys.

When it's the six of us, it'll be girls versus guys.

Which means we have to win Head-the-Household.

When there's seven left, we turn on Tonya

and get Tonya out, so the two girls are stuck.

They're going to get rid of us one by one.

If we don't win Head-of-Household

and we don't win vetoes, we can kiss our chances--

- Goodbye-- right. - --goodbye.

If we win Head-of-Household, it will put two of them

up for nomination.

Between the three of them, I think we have more brain power.

Did I go yet?

So what Jason and I are doing is we're sitting back

and let them fight amongst themselves.

OK.

I don't have anything.

And they're just fighting, fighting, fighting.

And I'm just waiting.

You got anything?

Mm-hm.

You all do--

I do.

Danielle's plan is this--

be as innocent as a dove and sly as a snake.

Because I'm just going to let them play their game.

Oh, snap!

Marcellas, I'm going to veto your nomination.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Amy, I'm going to have to put you up.

Lori is not doing very well emotionally.

Yeah, I've tried to comfort Lori.

She is a little upset.

What are you thinking about?

This whole alliance thing--

Roddy.

It breaks my heart.

I think Lori's lovely.

Don't worry.

You've done great.

Stop that.

Ay-ay-ay.

And the game plays on.

I believe that Amy's strategy has gone from "this

is who I am" to "accept me in your group,

I'll show you how good I can be for the House."

I just don't Lori ever winning a competition.

But that's the thing.

Say, Amy gets it.

Amy doesn't like me very much.

You know what I mean?

She doesn't know me--

or she put you up on the block.

Everyone has promised to keep me in the house.

I'm going to talk to Danny, who hates Amy anyway.

Right now, I'm really not worried about alliances.

And then there's Jason, who's obviously going to keep Lori.

I'm just worried about saving myself this week.

I mean, Lori stops every now and again.

But I think Lori is controllable, right?

You think you can control that wacko?

You know what?

This place is hell with studio lighting, OK?

Are you hearing what I'm saying to you?

I have a feeling that things are changing.

We can get through this.

It's a game.

JULIE: Let's talk to the houseguests

and see how they're holding up.

Hi, everyone.

[cheering]

How's everyone doing?

You know what?

I'm having an audio problem.

Go figure!

JULIE: I can't hear you guys in my ear.

But-- - Uh-oh.

JULIE: --I'm sure they'll fix that.

This is a live program.

And I'm sorry, Danielle.

I don't read lips.

Oh, here we go.

Now, I can hear you all.

Yeah?

JULIE: Yay!

So how are you guys? - Good.

Good.

JULIE: Great.

Now, this week, you guys were introduced

to a new and very important part of the game

called the Power of Veto.

Danielle--

Yeah?

JULIE: I'm going to direct this question to you.

What did you think about this new twist?

It was scandalous, beautiful, and just--

it was so wrong.

And you guys are sick.

JULIE: Don't look at me.

I don't make up the rules.

They are sick.

Marcellas, I take it you liked--

I love the veto.

Of course you loved it.

I love the veto.

JULIE: So how do you feel about being

taken off the chopping block?

I-- I'm--

I-- I just really wanted to stay.

I'm so happy to be here.

JULIE: Well, congratulations to you,

Marcellas, at least for another week.

What are you trying to say?

JULIE: Gerry--

I don't have to put up with this.

[laughter]

JULIE: --a lot has happened since you

exercised the power of veto.

If you could do it all over again,

would you still do it the same way?

Absolutely, without question.

JULIE: OK-- with conviction.

Jason, I got a question for you.

- Yes. - Wicki-wicki.

- Uh-oh. - Wicki-wicki.

JULIE: You and Lori won the money

tree competition your first night in the house, remember?

Yeah.

JULIE: And that means, for every week you both are in the house,

you split $,.

To what extent, if any, did that weigh in on your mind

as you came to your decision on who to evict?

Honestly, it has come to mind.

And more so, because it's been brought up several times

in the house.

So it's been something that was on my mind.

But the whole thing about this game

is, it's just so tough to have to pick one

of these people who have become my friend in a week

to vote to say goodbye to.

JULIE: OK.

Well, the stars of tonight's show are Amy and Lori.

You're both up for eviction tonight.

Do either of you have anything you want to say the group?

Amy, I'm going to start with you.

I love you all.

And I've really enjoyed reigning as nominee, holding my title.

And I'll hate to give it up.

But chunk!

Food!

JULIE: Lori--

Yeah!

I love this [inaudible]!

JULIE: Any words, Lori, for your group?

Somehow, I seem to have been sitting in this chair quite

a bit lately.

It's been great.

I was just telling them, it's been

great getting to know them--

or do I?

JULIE: OK, that's fine.

All right.

But it's been a great adventure.

It really has.

JULIE: Well, thank you, everybody.

And I'll be checking back with all of you

in just a little bit.

Coming up, an update on some of your favorite "Big Brother "

houseguests.

Were Hardy and Shannon able to brush aside their differences?

And what do last year's housemates think

of each other one year later?

We'll learn all about that, as well as their take

on this year's houseguests.

But first, tonight is eviction night.

Of the houseguests, nine will cast their votes.

The nominees, Amy and Lori, are not permitted to vote.

And nor is Lisa, the Head-of-Household.

All votes are cast in secret in the Diary Room.

Gerry, Danielle, and Tonya are up first.

Well, I have a real dilemma in this vote,

because I feel pretty close to both the nominees now.

Amy, really, sort of had won my heart over, as the cute little

Southern belle.

And I actually have sort of based

my decision on who will probably be the best player to help me.

I gave Lori my word that I got her back.

But she's cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs when she's under pressure.

Amy, from the beginning, really rubbed me the wrong way.

But just because someone rubs you the wrong way--

that doesn't mean that you have to vote against them.

When I first came into this house,

Amy, I didn't get to talk to you very much,

didn't really get to know her.

Lori was very nice person--

really made a connection with her-- really liked her.

And then it seemed like things started to change a little bit.

I vote to evict Amy.

I vote to evict Amy.

I vote to evict Lori.

JULIE: Welcome back to "Big Brother ."

It's been an emotional couple of days for the houseguests

who are confronted with having to vote out one of their own.

While Marcellas breathes a huge sigh of relief

after having his nomination vetoed by Gerry,

Amy is questioning her security in the house,

after becoming the replacement nominee.

And Lori, who was assured she was nominated purely as a means

to get rid of Marcellas, is realizing,

the tables may have been turned against her.

It's been a roller-coaster ride for Marcellas, Amy, and Lori,

and for their friends and family watching at home.

Marcellas, I have chosen you.

I call Marcellus my little brother.

He's the son my parents never had.

[inaudible] made me get out of the tree!

He wasn't interacting with the other houseguests.

That's what was really frustrating.

And I'm yelling at the television-- no!

Go and talk to people!

Get in that hot tub!

Ugh!

But I knew what he was doing.

He was actually sitting back, being the observer.

When they nominated him to be evicted,

he already changed his strategy.

He came out of his shell.

When Marcellas was leaving, he said, there is no runner-up

in this beauty pageant.

And I believe him.

Lori, I have nominated you.

People seeing Lori on the show for the first time

may look at her as a crybaby.

I-- I'm just freaked out.

I'm their emotional blubbering idiot.

The real Lori is funny, vivacious, happy.

Yes, I do have boobs.

Lori is a mom first.

Come on, Mom!

Bring home the money!

The most important thing in her life is her children.

I kind of wonder what [inaudible] thinks of Josh.

I made a BB g*n target out of him.

Lori's greatest enemies are Gerry and Josh.

[inaudible]

Right between the eye.

[trigger snapping]

Whoo!

Watch your back, Marcellas!

Watch your back!

I have made a decision that I am going

to veto someone's nomination.

Marcellas, I'm going to veto your nomination.

Yes, Marcellas!

Yes!

Amy, I'm going to have to put you up.

Yes!

[growling]

Amy is a trooper.

She always has been.

She's been through a lot of competitions.

These are Amy's trophies.

In , she won her first state title, which

was Miss Majorette of Arkansas.

When people meet Amy for the first time,

Amy comes on like a complete snob.

I say mean nasty things with my inner voice.

But once you get to know her, she is outgoing

and has a great sense of humor.

Well, Memphis is a medium-sized fish bowl.

And I'm a damn big fish, you know?

[giggle]

Amy had a very large first day.

She had a little bit too much to drink.

Yeah!

I'd [inaudible] number .

Great!

As a mother, that upset me.

Nationwide-- for someone to see Amy caring on so--

well, so much like Amy normally does.

I think Lori has her strategy.

I get Head-of-Household, he's my first choice out of here.

And I think she's doing what she thinks is best right now.

But it's hard for us to watch.

Amy has, I believe, a lot more confidence than Lori.

But that could work against her.

[inaudible]

Mama will be fine, OK?

--till the very end.

[growling]

JULIE: This type of drama is nothing

new to last year's houseguests.

One year after their "Big Brother" experience,

we'll find out how Nicole, Hardy, Autumn, and Kent are

making out in the real world.

But first, all eyes are on Amy and Lori.

So far, Lori has one vote for eviction.

Amy-- two.

Let's reopen the Diary Room door as Eric, Jason, and Chiara

go in to cast their votes.

Lori is a very, very sweet individual,

very nurturing and caring.

Amy, on the other hand, seems to be

oblivious to a lot of things that would

affect the average person.

She's probably never had to lift a finger in her life.

Lori is adorable, because she is completely sensitive.

She just-- she's a bit emotional and, maybe, too much

for this house.

Amy-- she's kind of her own person.

And it's very nice to see something new.

Again, this can work against her.

I like both of them very much.

It hurts me to have Lori here, because then it

reminds other houseguests that there is money for me

every week that the both of us are in the house.

On the other hand, there is Amy, who is wonderful and great.

I just-- I've just fallen in love with the girl.

She's amazing.

She is beautiful.

And she's funny.

I vote to evict Lori.

I vote to evict Amy.

I vote to evict Lori.

JULIE: It's an important night here at the Big Brother house.

Moments from now, we'll know whom the houseguests

have chosen to evict this week.

Will it be the cheese-obsessed Amy from Memphis, Tennessee?

Or Lori, the self-described optimist

from Superior, Wisconsin?

Eviction night is always filled with tension and suspense.

It's a weekly event that last year's "Big Brother"

houseguests know all too well.

We checked in on some of the former housemates

to see what they were up to and to hear their opinions

of this year's houseguests.

I'm Nicole.

I'm married.

I'm a freak.

All the hits-- Atlanta's new Q!

I did a lot of charities when I first got out.

Now, I'm a DJ on a local radio station.

So I'm a housewife during the week.

And I work all weekend.

Q--

Hey!

Hey!

When I came out of the house, it was more of Jeff

and I having a serious talk and feeling

that our bond was stronger than even it was before.

So I took Jeff and I on a cruise as soon as I got

out of the house last summer.

It was wonderful.

The only person I really kept in touch with was Hardy.

We connected like a just like a brother and sister,

in my opinion.

He's just a great guy.

He's just lonely.

And he just needs a good girl.

I'm Hardy.

Came back to Miami.

Since I've been back, I've had the opportunity to do

some modeling and acting work.

Actually, I did two commercials, if you can believe it,

with Shannon Michelle, who was also on "Big Brother ."

As most people know, her and I weren't very close

and she had done some things in the house

that I didn't approve of, for example,

the tooth-brush incident.

Shannon and I aren't ever serious anymore.

We're certainly not best friends, by any means.

But at the same point in time, we're

very cordial with one another.

And I think we have respect for one another, mutually.

I am single at the moment.

And I'm available.

I have been in touch with Nicole.

Hi, Nicole.

I have a -year-old kid.

So that ages me a little.

[music playing]

Come on!

I am pursuing a singing career.

I'm lead singing in a band.

Whoo!

And I'm also working on a side project, an album.

My goal is to get a record deal!

Tony and Justice are doing great.

And yes, Tony and I are still together,

as I said we would be.

There's [inaudible] out here smoking.

This is not all my fault, prim Princess-- sweetheart.

- It is, sweetheart. - No, it is not.

You want me to get you a bag of chips?

Have a bag of chips and get a cigarette.

We watch the shows, and I became completely mortified.

And unfortunately, I got to the point

where I wouldn't eat for two or three days at a time.

And I got skeletal.

And I got a lot of people worried about me.

I guess, I never really put it in the terms

of having an eating disorder, until someone else did for me.

And I had to battle that and learn how to maintain

my weight in a healthy way.

And I've done that now.

Well, I'm Kent, from East Tennessee.

I have two children.

Oh good.

Oh, are you still married?

Yes.

I have been amazed.

I continually get letters from all over the globe--

people wanting my autograph.

Now, what's that all about?

You kind of feel like you're in the Twilight Zone sometimes.

You ready to go swimming?

Want to put your bathing suit on?

Yeah, I'll be--

Bunky calls me from time to time.

And we talk a great deal--

will probably be friends with him for a long, long time.

When I was in the House, I ran out of cigarettes.

And so I did not smoke the remainder of my period

in the house.

I'm not smoking now.

We're taking it day by day.

I'm-- ah!

I got your corn dog.

No!

I've pretty much touched base with most of the "Big

Brother " houseguests.

I thought Mike's proposal to Krista was entertainment.

Will you marry me?

The thing he did with the proposal

was simply something he did to try

to take that spotlight away from Will and Nicole

and put it back on him a little bit.

I'm definitely not surprised that Mike and Krista

aren't going to be married.

Because I didn't think they'd get married in the first place.

Some of us had so much fun in the house.

And what we'd done is we put something together called

Reality on the High Seas.

And what we're going to do is get us four--

Cheryl and Bunky and Autumn--

with the fans.

And we're just going to go in the middle of November--

November th.

And we're just looking forward to.

Cheers to being home.

And good luck to those poor suckers on "Big Brother ."

Josh, can't stand him.

He thinks he's playing everybody.

Josh has got them all lined up.

He's got them in his pocket.

And he really doesn't.

this summer, on "BB ."

Lisa is sitting alone in her private bedroom,

contemplating her last night as Head-of-Household.

JULIE: --the other houseguests cannot hear our conversation.

So you can speak freely.

OK, good.

Well, you just finished your week

as the first Head-of-Household.

I did.

JULIE: How was that experience?

It started off a little rough.

I was kind of sad.

I felt like the rest of the household

had a chance to really get to know each other.

And I was kind of pushed aside and set back in my own room.

But after a while, it was great.

And I really enjoyed it.

It was stressful at times.

Of course, putting up the two nominations for eviction

was a little hard on me.

But I got through it.

And it was a lot of fun.

JULIE: You did a good job.

Thank you.

JULIE: Now, since you cannot be Head-of-Household for two weeks

in a row, who would you not like to see

as the next Head-of-Household?

And why?

I would not like to see Josh as the next Head-of-Household.

I like him.

I get along with him great.

But I really feel as though it would

be, maybe, too much of a power trip for him right now.

JULIE: But he's in your alliance.

Or does that alliance still exist?

No, he is in the alliance.

JULIE: OK.

I'm thinking, more so, about the whole rest of the house.

I think, with Josh as Head-of-Household,

it'll be too much of a power trip.

And it might be too much negative energy.

JULIE: OK.

Well, thank you, Lisa.

And you can rejoin the others.

JULIE: Both Amy and Lori have been told by their housemates

that they are safe from eviction.

But one of them has to go.

Nine guest vote to evict.

Amy and Lori are now tied.

They each have three votes for eviction.

It's time for Marcellas and Josh to vote.

Will Marcellas be loyal to his new friend Amy?

Will Josh honor his promise to keep Lori safe?

Amy is one of the few people in this house

that I will continue to have a relationship

with outside this house.

I love Lori.

In a lot of ways, I think that Lori sacrificed herself for me.

And I will be forever grateful

She seems like she's a very, very good-hearted woman.

She's not cut out for a game like this.

Amy is a little whack job.

She's obnoxious.

She's self-centered.

But overall, she's a good girl, I guess--

I swore on my love of my girlfriend, Meritt,

that I would not vote Lori out.

I vote to evict Amy.

JULIE: Welcome back.

We are minutes away from the first eviction.

Both Amy, the real estate appraiser, and Lori,

the small-town mom, entered the house with one goal in mind,

to be the last one standing and walk out with $, million.

days later, one of them will be the first to go

home empty-handed.

So far, the vote is tied.

Amy and Lori each have four votes for eviction.

The only person we haven't heard from yet is Roddy.

He's been friends with Lori since the beginning.

But was he loyal to her?

Now, it's time to find out who will be evicted.

[inaudible] and now how.

JULIE: Houseguests-- - How are ya?

[interposing voices]

JULIE: Good.

The wait is over.

Ugh.

JULIE: It's time now to find out who'll be evicted

from the Big Brother house.

Who is it?

JULIE: Now, just a reminder-- when

I reveal the results of the voting, the evicted houseguests

will have a minute to say goodbye, gather her belongings,

and walk out the front door.

I don't know what to believe in that house!

I feel like I'm getting to know someone.

In fact, I'm thinking, the longer I'm in that house,

the more bases I need to cover once I get out.
