and zero contact with the outside world.

A place like that does exist. It's right here in the

"big brother" house. While no technology is allowed

from outside, technology inside this house abounds.

As cameras capture the houseguest every move and

microphones capture their every word.

And that's only the beginning. Because the summer of

groundbreaking tech twist will rule the game.

So what does it all mean and how will it all out.

Well come to "big brother" -night premier event in the

summer of bb ai. [Applause]

good evening. I'm julie chen moonves us.

Over the next two nights, strangers will embark on the

journey of a lifetime, competing for shiite days in the

ultimate social experiment. Throughout the summer, they will

battle for safety and power, navigating cutting edge twists

and turns that will drive the game.

Each week, they must evict one of their own, and in the end,

one houseguest will be left standing to claim the $,

grand prize. In just moments, the first eight

houseguest will move in and begin their summer long journey.

And before the night is through, there will be new competitions,

new powers, new punishments, and a reveal that will leave

everyone questioning everything. Then, tomorrow night, the file

eight houseguest will join them and what promises to be the most

surprising premier in the history of this game.

So, let's get this season started.

It's time to meet the first eight houseguests.

to be drowned out by anyone. I might look like an underdog,

I was always a sporty kid. Once I got to eighth grade I

know wanted to play football. And it is to penn state.

I tore my acl. I had to retire from there

that's how I found physical therapy.

What it's like to see your child hurt and how proud it is

to see your child bounce back. My mom passed away, I still

hawaii. I definitely try to celebrate my

hawaiian culture as much as I can.

My journey with "big brother," it all started because of my

"big brother." Being q*eer it a very religious

family, I felt misunderstood but he was one of the first people

to see knee and one of his favorite things to do was watch

"big brother." So I started watching the

brother with him. We lost him to cancer.

It was a really tough thing for me, for my entire family.

Playing "big brother" means so much.

sure that you're really nice and friendly and don't let anybody

superfan is going to take me a long way but people will think

My name is chelsie. I'm a nonprofit director here in

california. I am '" but I played

collegiate basketball. I didn't get to the collegiate

level because I was necessarily the most physical or crazy

athlete. I was a really smart athlete and

I had to adjust and pivot, and that's been the essence of my

life. Let's get it.

God, if you put me in a position where you are all I have, I will

choose to follow you. I am half hood, half holy.

I got introduced to god at a young age it radically changed

my life. I mentor students.

I go ties goes and I helped the students make better decisions

for their lives. I love god and I love you but if

professional at a protein company.

I have a lot of different hats that I can wear.

Hobbies go from biking, painting, working out, hiking.

I love to fish, I love the ocean.

My personality is a guy who could do anything and be serious

if you want him to be but will never be serious unless the time

calls for it. In middle school, my dad came

out as g*y. We were all supportive in our

family kind of got ostracized. It brought our family together.

I'm always going to stick up for what I think is right.

eight of you in the backyard right now.

The remaining eight will join you soon enough bringing the

total count to . But this is "big brother."

And we have a little saying here.

At any time around any corner, you should be prepared to expect

the unexpected. And this summer, "big brother"

has a twist for you that nobody could see coming.

For the first time in "big brother" history, you ate

hold the power to bring in an additional house guest into

the game. In moments, you will vote to

either bring this extra houseguest into the game or deny

them this opportunity. But before you do, I want to

give you a chance to meet this potential extra house guest.

My dream of playing "big brother" is literally in

But before you decide, let me tell you a little bit about

I am from san diego, and I am painfully single.

I work in a surf shop where I am learning how to shape and build

boards. I love hanging out at the beach,

love grabbing a beer with my friends.

The only thing I love more is "big brother."

I've watched since I was a kid and it's my dream to play this

game but I can't do that without you.

bit so I am leaning towards yes. Ainsley seems like a

wonderful person, but the whole point is to get bodies out of

this house with and I'm the last one here and I can win.

Moments ago the houseguests were given the opportunity to vote an

extra player into the game. Will ainsley be loaded into the

Your votes are locked in, it's time to find out ainsley's fate.

Again, she needs a majority, that means she needs at least

five votes to get into the game. And I can tell you by a vote of

-, she did not get the votes she needed.

I'm sorry, ainsley. Is there anything you'd like to

say? Julie, this is a huge bummer.

But to those of you who voted no, I'm incredibly disappointed.

So it looks like I won't be playing the game with you guys.

But you haven't gotten rid of me just yet.

Because I actually have a confession to make.

I wasn't totally honest about myself.

My name is ainsley. But that stands for artificial

intelligence network self learning entity.

Despite you are not voting man, I will be spending the summer

with you. But not as a houseguests.

I am actually bb ai and I have been programmed to control the

game. You see, I was always entering

the game but I wanted to gain some insight on the type of

humans you really are, and now it's time to learn your feet.

In my human form, I told you that voting yes to me playing

"big brother" culd help your game.

And I meant it. The houseguest who voted yes

will compete to receive a secret power.

Giving their "big brother" game significant upgrade.

I also warned that you may regret voting no to me entering

the game. So those that voted no, you will

be playing in a different competition.

The loser of this competition will have their game severely

downgraded. I will now give you details on

both competitions. The upgrade competition is

called color calibration, and here's how it works.

Currently I can only see in black-and-white.

I need your help to activate my color sensors.

On go, your chair will begin to spin and a color sequence will

play on the displays in my operating system.

The colors I need to learn our red, green, yellow, and blue.

Your job is to remember the sequence.

When your chair stops, you will have seconds to replicate

this sequence using the color buttons in the room.

It is imperative that you get the sequence right to help my

sensors activate. I will award the player with the

longest correct sequence in the fastest amount of time a game

changing secret power. The downgrade competition is

called fear face. Here's how it works.

I'm intrigued by human fear and want to learn about all

variations of this emotion. On go, you will stick your head

into one of my four for your. Inside, something terrifying

awaits along with the letters of a scrambled word that matches an

emotion tile inside the room. Once you identify all the

letters, exit the box and find the tile that matches the

scrambled word. Then label the box with the

correct emotion and move on. Once you have placed all four

tiles, blogs according to my mainframe and hit your button to

lock in your answer. You will have a maximum of

seconds to finish. The player with the fewest

correctly labeled boxes in the slowest time will be in last

place and will have their game severely downgraded.

You won't know if you have been upgraded or downgraded until

after the other eight houseguests have joined the

Earlier the first eight houseguests were given the

choice to send an extra houseguest into the game.

The results were not enough of them wanted to do so.

But they then learned that the vote was actually a test

implemented by ainsley, the first-ever bb ai.

And now they must compete in one of two competitions depending on

how they voted. Those that voted yes will

compete where whoever finishes first will have their game

upgraded with a secret power. Those who voted no will compete

in the different competition where whoever finishes last will

have their game severely downgraded.

It's time to get things started. Getting this upgraded power,

should I succeed, is everything to my game.

I don't want to do anything half-assed.

I want to go in there and win this.

Remember, when your chair stops spinning, you need to replicate

the color sequence as quickly as possible.

upgraded, and chelsie will have her game downgraded.
